This restaurant has its michelin well deserved! They should have more! The creativity in the preparation of the dishes its just inmense! i was there for new year’s eve dinner, all the dishes were perfectly ensambled and well thought of. I loved that there were 3 of them that contained truffles which are my fave. The starting suop with truffle and parmesan was just the best things I’ve ever tried. And the textures of the dishes were was spectacular. You are eating something that doesn’t look like it but it tastes so. The lacqued ternera was ridiculously good, it melted in my mouth, didn’t need a knife. The staff were just impredibly attentive and welcoming, all of them in a great mood. The somelier was spectacular explaining the wines that came with each course, and they matched perfectly. The desserts were amazing. And they offered for new year’s eve a tray with turron, grapes and panettone from Oriol Balaguer which was to die for! I highly reccomend this place when you are in barcelona and want to have a great experience.

Headline: Bucket List Restaurant offering amazing food I am in Barcelona for a conference and we wanted to have a night out at a great restaurant. One of my team suggested this restaurant. It’s a little bit of a hike to the restaurant, but the Barcelona cab system is efficient. The interior is a nice subtle modern place with restricted seating and a nice bar. The chefs will out-number the guests in the restaurant. We first of all spoke with the sommelier and were quite happy to order a bottle of wine he suggested. Water — as in the rest of Europe, it seems — is chargeable and they will keep it flowing. We decided on the Festival Dinner — which came in at an eye-popping 21 courses. To be honest, I was expecting 24 courses — maybe that’s the bigger Dinner menu. Each dish is selected by the chef. Appetizers — Smoky«Trmpetta de la Muerte» Infusion — a smoky mushroom broth, a refreshinging simple Cauliflower soaked in vinegar and ginger served on a rock, slices of monkfish with a black garlic and sesame swipe, a small pizza with figs and arugula, and a vegetarian sponge ceviche that simply melted in your mouth. Main courses included Sardines with orange segments, wasabi and carquinylois, a tuna tartare with roe on top that just exploded with flavor, a mystery egg — with truffles inside, a chunk of codfish with chard and chick peas, a rice dish with what looked like foie gras ice cream, whiting lightly dressed in a vinaigrette and the most amazing veal cheek glazed in a red wine reduction — each dish was paced nicely and allowed us to truly enjoy the evening. We needed a palette cleanser, so we asked for a little bread and olive oil. The wait staff brought out three different types of local bread and four different olive oils with a little sea salt. The staff alo gave us an explanation of the olive oils, allowing us to add an impromptu olive oil tasting to our menu. Desserts included a blueberry, grapefruit and lychee soup, and apple compote with a crumble topping and saffron ice cream, a chocolate nougat. I have a peanut allergy, so the staff replaced the«M&M» dish(which was enjoyed by all) with a more savory chocolate mousse in oil topped with sea salt. We thought we were done, but they capped the evening off with a small set of dishes. An orea ice cream sandwich bite, a gold bar with praline mouse(which I didn’t care for), a wild pine bar and a matcha tea white chocolate lego brick. Accomodating? One of our team is a pescatarian and another an ovo-lacto vegetarian and they simply substituted dishes. Each dish came with one of the ait staff telling us about it and when appropriate the best way to eat it. This was simply an amazing meal from beginning to end. It’s one I lamented my wife was not at and I was working out how I can work in a trip to Barcelona with her just so I could have her experience this restaurant. Put it on your bucket list — this is as good as it gets.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. From start to finish this place just doesn’t miss. The standouts for us were the tuna tartare, duck rice with foie, cochinilla, and veal cheek. The wait staff is attentive and the whole experience was great. This restaurant is not to be missed if traveling to Barcelona.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had anywhere. We selected the tasting menu and everything they brought us was delicious. There was a vegetarian in our group and they tailored her meal to her tastes. The Kinder Egg was to die for, the pork cheeks out of this world, the tuna tartare was amazing!!! I could go n and on. There wasn’t a bite that wasn’t delicious! I highly recommend a visit.

We could not get dinner reservations, so we came for lunch and had the smaller tasting menu. Good thing as it was more than enough food, even without the cheese we had. It was lunch, and we had dinner still to come in a few hours, so we skipped wine, sad to say. The service was first rate – exactly what I expect from a restaurant at this price point: formal but unobtrusive, a bit of a show that brings a smile and almost a laugh. This is theatre AND food, and the theatre was without peer. The food was variable, but there were so many dishes and they were almost all imaginative, so that we were very happy. I would try for dinner, too. It would only be better were there fewer misses among the dishes – but then my miss is probably another’s hit, and the reverse. Were the prices not quite so breathtaking it would be five stars.

The 18 course Grand Festival menu was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Many Japanese influences were present. From a light dashi broth poured over cockles, to a rich ramen style broth that complemented a tuna tartar with salmon eggs. The execution in avant-garde cooking was phenomenal, and surrounded by a comfortable and warming atmosphere. The staff was immensely helpful in suggesting cheeses(from their large selection) during the cheese course, to the sommelier who passionately helped pick a few wines which would help walk us through the progression of an amazing dinner.

Although I am not a huge fan gastro-molecularology and I thought much of the presentation was gimmicky the flavor of the dishes stood up at Comerc 24.

Everything was good but agreed with others that charging for bread and cheese was not clear and kinda wrong when dinner is nearly 300. Cheese per person was 12 and bread was 4. We would not have gotten the bread but thought it was included in the festival tasting menu. This place went up from 56 to 84 € tasting menu. Everyone there wAs there with a significant other, interestingly. I guess at that price you don’t just take anyone! Very creative and innovative. After this meal we kept going to their more casual tapas store which was closer to us.

I have never been to a restaurant where I have been treated so rudely by the staff. After a fantastic meal at Tapas 24, we decided to visit this restaurant too. We were planning on visiting later in our week, but in wandering around the city, we found ourselves walking past without dinner plans and decided to duck in at around 8pm. The restaurant was empty, aside from a british family with two noisy children. But we were told without reservations, we needed to sit at the bar. We both ordered a glass of wine, while we looked at the menu. For the price of dinner, it was not the experience I wanted. Packed tightly next to my partner in an empty restaurant, with two kids loudly complaining behind us about how gross everything is in a british accent. So, we decided to finish our drinks and leave. When we told our waiter we’d be leaving after our drinks and not ordering dinner, he got his manager who couldn’t have been ruder. After being told this was not a bar, and we were not welcome. He told us we couldn’t stay seated at the bar, as they needed the space for those ordering food(again, at an empty restaurant). And, after reading some of the reviews, I’m glad we made the decision we did.

I chose the 7 course festival at Comerc 24 and was very disappointed. Overall, each course was either hit or miss. One course would be amazing and the next would be awful. For the price I would expect much more. In particular, I would expect the 84 € price for the meal to include the bread. To my surprise, when the bill arrived we were charged 4 € per person for bread.

I really enjoyed our meal here. The food was delicious — as well as extremely creative, inventive and fun. Service was friendly and professional. They had a very good wine list and a decent selection by the glass as well. Really a memorable meal. Would return.
