Disset 17 Graus

Wonderful staff here who gave us great advice on the good and the wine. We were really impressed with the variety and quality of the wine from right across Catalunya and also the food is stunning. Funky and fabulous but friendly too — love it.

My family and I stumbled across this establishment while walking around the neighborhood. The curb appeal drew us in and the fantastic tapas kept us fixated. We ordered several dishes and each one was better than the next. The staff were extremely friendly and willing to help us pick choices that met our palettes. The décor was very nicely appointed and complemented the food and wine nicely. We would definitely go back and recommend to any friends who are looking for a very nice meal
What we ordered:
Pan con tomate and olive
Spicy sausage with honey
Goat cheese and Serrano ham
Spicy beef with apple
Sirloin steak

Super cool spot! The wine was great and the environment was upscale and chic, but still hip. Our server gave us some great wine recommendations, and the prices were reasonable too. To finish, we each had a gin and tonic (they have a list of several different kinds), which were very good and quite strong! They are not cheap (I think around 10 – 11 euros apiece), but they are served in a large goblet and they definitely have some gin in them. :) I can’t comment on the food because I didn’t eat there, but it was a lot of fun. Would definitely go back.

Disset 17 Grau, you’ve made a relatively ok trip to Barcelona now — a far more memorable and fantastic one.
Being the first time my friend and I have come to España, (with 5 years of completely useless high school Spanish), it’s normal to be a bit timid in a completely foreign lands. Having gone to another tapas place before, we were not particularly welcomed, having the feeling of being a burden then anything else.
Sebastian at Disset completely took care of us. He was very patient with our wine selection (prices are very manageable — our bottle was only 21 euros ish), and very helpful with the selection of tapas.
Dishes we ordered :
Tomatoes on bread
Salmon tartare
Meat platter
Squid and potatoes
Peppers
Everything was exceptionally good and portions were big ! Seb was also nice enough to take some shots on the house with our birthday girl.
All in all, Sebastian confirms that it’s the people that make a city beautiful — and he just topped it off with fantastic service and delicious food.

Favourite wine bar in Barcelona! Why? Because 1) they have so many different wines per glass that there MUST be a wine for your liking and 2) it’s not so «Barcelonesque»… Let me elaborate on that;
So far & foremost, the interior is straightforward modern and ‘warm’ due to the use of wood. All over the back wall and above the bar, the wine bottles are standing there tall & beautifully — I kid you not. And have a good look at the lamps above the tables. Design, design, design my friend.
Second, the service is what you’d expect in Barcelona so no surprises there. The food menu on the other hand, not the standard tapas and absolutely worth to pair with your wines. Ooooh the wines!
Over to the wines… Every two months, they change their wine menu so basically you can’t wrong here. The menu is extensive, the wines are exquisite, and I bet — if you’re a wine snob like me, you WILL get drunk here because you’d like to taste this one. And that one. And that one. Aaaaand sis won. Eeeeèèèn wan moor.
As we say in Dutch: lekker doen!

This place was on our tapas tour and we enjoyed it so much we came back. They have a great selection of wine and beer. The service is abnormally (for Spain) friendly and attentive. The space is very well decorated and is a comfortable place to kick back and enjoy a glass… or 3, especially in the back section.
I was not impressed with their blood sausage, but the Pardon peppers were good.
It is in a great neighborhood, you just have to find it.
