Everything here is amazing. We only had the tapas and wine. But it’s all good.
Especially the goat cheese. Apple and pâté on toast. That’s really amazing.
The whole setup is very cool and well placed. Highly recommended.

Great little tapas bar with good food and wine! Very welcoming vibe with an American bistro feel to it! The kitchen opens until 11:30, which was a plus since we found this restaurant after an 8-​hour fast! I loved the old school charm in the restaurant. We ordered 3 – 4 tapas to share plus a bottle of white wine to go with our meal! The food came out quickly given that the kitchen was closing. We ordered cheese with foie gras and pear, garlic mushrooms, Catalan tomato bread and a meat dish. Everything was very tasty and satisfying! I especially liked the tomato bread! The prices were very reasonable for the portions you get. Overall, this is a decent restaurant with good food for late night dining!

Don’t go here food is not even decent, cocktails are good tough. Plus it’s not that cheap…

Tourist trap. Friendly waitresses who were nice and attentive. The food was completely sub par: you’re better off going to the bookstore, finding a Spanish cookbook and doing anything on the menu yourself– you’re guaranteed it’d taste better on your first try than here.
We had Th entrecôte and chicken. They tasted cheap and like they were cooked that morning and left out all day,
Save your money and go anywhere else.

I stumbled across El Callejon whilst absolutely starving on my first night in Barcelona. I arrived around 8 so it was quiet then the restaurant gradually filled up around me.
I ordered a steak which came with a salad and fried potatoes which was perfect washed down with an Estrella which was perfect. Absolutely nothing was wasted on the plate. I even ordered a chocolate brownie for dessert which also came with ice cream and was also delicious. The service was good and the whole bill came (just me) came to just over € 20 which was outstanding value.

La comida muy buena y el ambiente acogedor, la pega es que no hay demasiada variedad en la carta. Sería genial si describieran un poco mas como son los platos.

THE STEAK HERE… yes. Also, nice old-​world gothic-​quarter atmosphere.

I went to this place because of the reviews. I was disappointed. The food and sangria were both mediocre. There’s nothing more that really needs to be said.

Un sitio acogedor y con personal amable y atento. La comida está muy buena. Recomendamos la entraña a la parrilla, a pesar de que pensamos en visceras no tiene nada que ver! Es una carne verdaderamente tierna y con una buena copa de vino tinto no tiene pérdida! Buen provecho!

The skirt steak, the patatas, o everything we had was good. With some delicious Sangria.
The place was a little hidden but not hard to find.
Server was sharp and always ready to help.
Call in advance to make reservation this place is a bit small and is always full.

Fantastic tapas with a great price and taste. Drinks reasonably priced and made by a professional. You can enter the restaurant from two different streets. Worth going! Great atmosphere and service.

So I was going through my pics on the phone and came across these from Barcelona. This was the most delicious place that I ate at in Barcelona hands down. Believe it or not, I had a hard time finding good food. I ate here 3 nights in a row it was so good, I could not get enough! They had the juiciest tastiest estrana cut skirt steak that I’ve ever had in my life. I was running to this place every night ! No other steak has beat that steak since. Every time I eat a steak, I compare it and bring up this steak in conversation. Hahaha I still remember it like it was yesterday. Served with chimichurri sauce, the best Papas Bravas with a spicy tomato sauce on top, and a side salad lightly dressed with a vinaigrette. We also ordered a side of sautéed mushrooms with parsley Yum! Great Mojitos, awesome Sangria! We did order other small things, I can’t remember the names. My friends and I were usually having a blast drinking so… U know how that goes:-) I just have to say again, Great Food, Awesome Friendly service! Not too many friendly places in Barcelona along with a handful of other European countries. I won’t leave them out either. But u definitely will find awesomeness here! It’s a bit tricky to find. It’s in the side streets, don’t give up. Look! It’s so worth it.

El local es muy agradable aunque a simple vista parece un bar de copas y esta algo escondido, es una mezcla entre restaurante y bar para tomarte unos mojitos.
En la carta hay bastantes tapas y unos cuantos entrantes y platos, con bastante variedad en los ingredientes.
Los precios son correctos dentro de la media, ni caro ni barato.
En definitiva, un buen sitio para ir a cenar en el Gotic.

We had at TV-​set in the distance, so we could watch The soccer match between Barca and Real. great.
The food was top, the servants aware, but not too much, the room tasteful and the menu attractive.
Prices were surprising low.

What a gem! This place is definitely worth the visit, even if it’s not nearby you. The atmosphere and dim and cozy, the sangria is excellent, and the food is great! Great mix of tapas and regular portions. We started off with a few tapas, and ended up ordering a few more rounds instead of ordering entrees. Totally worth the re/​visit.

este restauramte me gusta mucho. voy cada vez que estoy en barcelona porque la comida es excelente, siempre hay gente agradable y los titulares son grandes. y después de la cena se pueden beber cócteles muy buenos.

It was a little hard to find but was in deed a great restaurant! Wonderful service and food, For less than 5 euros you can get 3 delicious tapas and a drink.
