Tiny version of the Enrique Tomás chain. Meats hanging on the walls, two or so people staffing the store. They’ll answer whatever questions you have about the differences in the hams, but in broken English. If you’re walking down the street it’s definitely worth stopping in to buy some Jamon cubes for your walk around the city!

Delicious jamon iberico sandwich. We wanted a manchego sandwich too and the server even advised that we not combine the jamon and manchego together so as not to ruin the flavor. Good laid back place to get jamon on the go.

Solid four star — nice ambience, good service. The reason it gets a four instead of five stars is that the servers are very sales-oriented and did not want to give us a taste of anything. so we had to buy a pack of chorizo which was not to our liking.

I was walking by this shop and saw the legs of meat hanging in the window. I was going to keep walking but my husband walked in and I could tell he was excited to have stumbled upon this place. He got me to go in. It’s a little weird with hanging meat legs but it’s Spain and it’s interesting. They have a large cheese cooler with a huge of variety. The place is quaint and has little wine barrels to sit at and enjoy fresh sliced ham, cheese and wine. The prices are really good. It’s fun to sample the meats, olives, cheese and enjoy glasses of Rioja wine. It was an authentic Spanish experience. Glad my husband walked in this place we had a great time.

I will second the other reviews here. The jamon bocadillos at 5.90 were excellent. As were the glasses of wine. We also ordered a side of mixed olives. I also tried a package of the jamon from the Extremadura(purchased at the Las Ramblas location) which despite being pre-sliced was incredible. I wish Despana in New York would sell Enrique Tomas instead of(or along with) Fermin. The seating could be more comfortable.

Si vous aimez le jambon cru alors il faut aller a cet endroit, c est tout simplement grandiose. L’Accueil et les tapas sont parfaits et le prix idem. Surtout il né faut pas s’en privé.

I would give this place 5 stars because if the taste and customer service. it’s a small shop but big in heart. Friendly staff. they can also cater if you have parties. They have a meat carver that will cut the ham of your choice when you order. One of the wall has hundreds of ham hanging. You can choose which one you prefer and buy it in bulk.

Ah Spain, where the pig reigns supreme. Enrique Tomas is a right proper throne for the resulting products of Spain’s obsession with pork. Streamlined, yet full of choices. Seating is available, and the staff are friendly and ready to answer/advise on the variety of cured meats. Give the ‘jamon de bellota’ a go(black-footed pigs fed only hazelnuts) and the Longaniza de Vic(similar to a dry sausage), you won’t regret it. So, when are they coming to South Florida?

I literally SQUEALED with delight when I saw this xarcuteria! If you know me, I can live without rice(and I’m Asian!) but not without cured meats. The store is minimally decorated to showcase their main product: jamon. Of ALL kinds! A huge wooden block at the storefront window displays the sexiest pork leg I’ve ever seen!(and I’ve seen plenty ;-) Rows and rows of jamon adorning the walls and a small refrigerated section of vacuum packed meats ready for take away. The all male staff here are friendly and efficient, if you have questions about the different cuts of meat — ASK! They also have sandwiches on sale with the softest baguette ever, I tried the Jamon bellota sandwich at 5.90 euros and it’s stuffed with brie cheese and quality jamon with some ribbons of fat. The nearest metro stop is Jaume I.
