I would give it 6 stars if I could. One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I visited in January 2014 with a friend while in Barcelona. I had found it through the great reviews on TripAdvisor. It did not disappoint. Reservations are a must. Its a very small but homey space. Only a half dozen tables. The chef Vidal is also the owner waiter and sommelier. Went with tasting menu. The whole table has to order but its divine. Each course better than the last. Highlights include sea bass, foie gras, chicken fingers, and many more. Each dish and presented and explained by Vidal. So much more personal than most high end restaurants. Worth every penny too. The tasting and one bottle of wine per person was about 150 a person. An experience you must take advantage of if you are in Barcelona. Deserving of a Michelin star!

Wow… what a great restaurant… four of us were staying at the Melia Sky Hotel ‘very near by’ and stumbled upon this venue, and one of us had dietary requirements. This restaurant handles this requirement so well. This is a small establishment and the owner/chef Vidal provides a very personalised service and engages in a very caring, attentive and flexible manner to deliver outstanding food. We started with some hors d’oeuvres which come compliments of the house… delightful little morsels which set the stage for what was to come … we selected the Gazpacho soup and a number of the salads as our starters — subtle, yet distinctive flavours and the soup was the best Gazpacho that I have ever enjoyed… the table was abuzz with excitement given the foodie pleasures we had had from the hors d’oeuvres and the starters. The main courses lived up to expectation… really beyond. The fish of the day was cooked and presented to near perfection while the pork too was outstanding. The most significant feature of the two dishes was they were not served with coatings of sauces… the quality of cooking was reflected in the selected foods and there were no sauces to ‘trick or cover this up’. Prices are modestly set and the total experience was great value for money. We did not go to desserts however they looked very inviting… wine list is small and good… the coffee is excellent. Outstanding night and we vowed we will be back the next time we are in Barcelona.

El número de mesas no supera el número de dientes del tenedor, pero los dientes del tenedor son largos. El menú de mercado, original y bien preparado, suscita preguntas a los aficionados a la cocina, que son contestadas amablemente por la cocinera.
