Meh. I had pasta and pesto. Very salty, even for me. Food at other tables looked mediocre. Pizza seems to be doughy and raw in the middle. Although the sangria looked interesting.

Fantastic place for a nice dinner! We had the ravioli and a pizza, it was more than enough for two. The thin-crust pizza was superb and the ravioli was well-made and tasted delicious.

Staff was great. Food was delicious. We got 2 meals for 3 people and were full. Try a pasta and a pizza for the full experience. I especially liked the carbonara. I’d like to try some of those stuffed pastas next time. Also liked the house wine. Oh, and they have an English menu if you’re an English speaker with less than perfect Spanish. Just ask.

Nice interior — but regarding meals, one feels a little bit trapped: salmon tartar — with 10% Salmon, lots of apples mixed with it… Pizza Mascarpone /Speck: looking for the speck?! but again: apple on it ;-) Tagliatelle Rustica: without any taste of the ingredients… Lambrusco not by the glass Rather big portions… but big does not come with delicious meals… Waiter friendly but understaffed ok — but not more undortunately. we expected more…

I truly wanted something besides tapas in Barcelona and I picked this place. The portions are huge and probably the only place that allows you to take food home. I have tried the papardelli pasta with black truffles and ham. The taste was good but the pasta was brought to the table cold and that was not very appetizing. My friend that lives in Barcelona had pasta carbonara. I have tried it and it was also cold and the sauce was runny, not your typical carbonara. Not a very good experience overall.

This restaurant deserves 5 star. It’s interesting that any review less than 5 comes from entitled Americans! The food was the best Italian I have ever had in my life. The service was perfect. The gentleman who was serving us was the only person there and he was on top of it. He was taking care of half of the restaurant with out any drama or attitude. If you crave Italian food while visiting Barcelona, then you won’t be disappointed.

Little small place that can make confuse you because for a sec I thought I was back in Italy :) the staff is nice and the pasta I had was delicious. The cream was too much for me though. Nice place to go with friends.

This restaurant is well-tailored to please Americans with super-sized appetites who like large portions and are not picky about quality. Think the Olive Garden. We were not impressed with anything we had – the bread with olives and onions(focaccia strips) was stale. The menu offers many many pasta selections that can be paired with many sauce selections. The three we ordered were a bit like pouring a mediocre bottled sauce on pasta.

Delish! Everything we had, from the lasagna to the pizza, was very good. The price was reasonable for the quality of the food and the large portions. I would absolutely go back if I was in the area again.

Excellent thin crust pizza. It does not get thinner than this. And it tasted great. The staff is very friendly too.

I was getting tired of tapas and this was a very good find! Pasta comes in a huge portion. You choose pasta and sauce from many different kinds! Pizza has some interesting topping combinations. I tried a pasta with cream sauce and egg on top, and pizza with eggplant with balsamic drizzle. Pasta needed a bit of kick but the pizza was great! Very affordable price and cozy ambiance. take-out seems to be quite popular. PS: It is just cross the street from the Hotel Renaissance.

Excellent homemade pasta. Pizza was pretty good, but not outstanding. I prefer sliced mozzarella on my margarita pizza. Carpaccio not great. Would definitely go back for the pasta.

Okay, this is Spaghetti Factory done well. I looked for the railroad dining car in the middle of the restaurant; no where to be found. Skeptical when I walked in: no bar that I saw, just dining tables, a smattering of diners, and decorations making the place seem perhaps older, though not worn out. But in the end, yes, I’m a fan. Arrived about 20:00. This may be early by local standards. Was quickly seated. Waiter at table in the blink of an ojo. Ordered quickly but without being rushed, watched waitstaff scurrying around. Dinner was on my table quicker than you can say, «Dov’e ‘la mia cena?» I wondered if I would be eating soggy noodles with greasy pesto. Wrong. Pasta is fresh, not dried, as near as I can tell. I had the pesto tagliatelli. Not perfect the pesto, being ever so slightly dry, but tasty without being overwhelming with oil as some pestos can be. Tagliatelli was delightful, fresh, al dente, plenty of it – so much I couldn’t finish it. First glass of vino, the house red, arrived warm. It must have been sitting around open all day. Flabby mouth feel due to temperature. Didn’t give up, second glass arrived evidently taken from cooler storage. Much better. Have no idea what it was and forgot to ask. On the Monterey Coventry Wine scale of «-, 0, +,» this house red was a zero – drinkable, average. All grading scales should be this easy and understandable: You don’t want it again, you could have it again, you must have it again. And then, just when I thought I was ready to pay the bill and leave, out came the welcomed lemoncello, gratis. Alas, a zero. But that’s not bad. Over all, this is good place to have dinner. If here long enough will dine here again.

Our apartment was within a few blocks of this lovely restaurant, but I think it would be worth the trip even if you’re staying closer to the heart of Barcelona. It’s a large ristorante /pizzeria, with a varied pizza /pasta /entrée menu, excellent food, excellent service, and friendly, welcoming owner /manager(not sure which) who was delighted to learn that we were visiting from Chicago, as he had lived and worked close to where we live. Excellent for kids, families, couples, groups, etc.

In my opinion the best Italian resto in the city! From a taste side, it’s hands down authentic. Really delicious choices. I ate here 3 nights in a row, and ordered 3 different things, all of them were winners! Service is slow, but staff is friendly and tries their best.

If you are sick of tapas, or you are just in the mood for some good Italian food in Barcelona, this is the place to go. There are so many options for pasta dishes, you can choose the type of pasta you want with the type of sauce you want, and let me tell you… there are so many options!!! There are at least over 10 options for each, I suggest the gnocchi with the mushroom sauce or pesto sauce. If you don’t want pasta, choose from their menu filled with different types of pizzas, and the salads are superb! I got one which had a huge chunk of fried goat cheese on it with sugar glazed tomatoes. I destroyed the desserts each time I was there, even though I was so full. All of the desserts are good, and you get to choose the types of ice cream that you want with them. Go here if you are… 1. hungry 2. like pizza and pasta

Tapas were fabulous in Spain, but after many a tapas filled day it was nice to try something different. I believe this is one of many locations in Spain(or at least Barcelona). Staff was very friendly, lively atmosphere, and although the combinations of ingredients were a little strange to me(maybe more authentic? not sure but definitely not what I am used to seeing in the US) the ravioli and the pizza we had were delicious. The highlight for me was the homemade cheesecake — again, different from what I am used to when ordering cheesecake but so delicious. It was the consistency of yogurt, served in a glass with some berries on the bottom and graham cracker type cookie pieces. Our waiter spoke English pretty well and the bill for 2 including the pizza, ravioli, cheesecake dessert, and a glass of wine came to only 37 euros.

I have eaten in this place a couple of times over my 3-week stay in Barcelona. Overall it is a good experience. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is quite nice, and the food is very good. I have eaten the pizza, ravioli w/amatriciana sauce, veal w/four cheese sauce as well as balsamic reduction, and some of the salads. Keep in mind I went with family and tried a little bit of everyone else’s food and did not eat all of this on my own. The ravioli amatriciana in my opinion was just delicious. A tomato based sauce w/onion and bacon… WOW, that bacon stands out and gives it a wonderful deep, rich meaty taste. I would definitely put this on my list of good Italian food if you find yourself in the neighborhood. Apparently they have a couple of locations around the city. I cannot speak for the others, but the one I went to was delicious. Good appetite my friends! Came back to visit summer 2013 and my review stands. The food is delicious and the service is great. Bön a petit friends!

Bella Italia!
