Pricey… We got charged 3 euros for water and 4 euros(2 euros per person) for bread… Salads were also expensive. Only good thing about the place is the friendly service and the salad was tasty. Place was empty at 8.30pm though. Not sure if that’s common for barcelona?

Yaya, which means grandmother, is a great place for a relaxed meal, with excellent food and of course, a pitcher or two of their fine sangria, mixed up from scratch with either a red or white cava(a local proseco style sparkling wine) — the duck confit was amazing and worth trying, as well as the fish soup — and the beans with a pigs ear sausage — price was also good and service was as warm and friendly as one would expect in the Catalan region of Spain — I would happily go back again!

Delicious Catalan fare, especially the tortellini filled with foie gras. Watch out for the sangria with kava, Cointreau, gin, brandy and splash of orange juice — deadly but delicious

Family atmosphere and delicious meal! For lunch, my starter was Galician claims grilled style — dish of about 8 or so claims, nicely done with olive oil and chives sauce. For main I ordered fois-gras raviolis with truffle oil which came with also about 8 raviolis and was delicious and quite filling. My companion had a prix fix menu option, for € 19.50, of goat cheese croton with salad(nicely seasoned with olive oil, balsamic and Dijon mustard seeds), and salt cod vizcaina style(a bit salty for my taste but salt cod is their popular dish). Catalan cuisine, relaxed vibe, good experience!

Dejaros recomendar y volved a vuestra niñez.
