Waited in line in the Barcelona store-approx 20 mins. Then welcomed into the store, told that there was “a little delay”. One hour later, my daughter had to go downstairs to talk to the very pleasant woman at the front door. If she hadn’t, we’d still be sitting there waiting. Finally a very pleasant SA (and trainee) came over, asked us if we’d like something to drink. I asked for wine or champagne, and was told no, that those were only for people with appointments. A little wine would have helped diffused the situation. Anyway, I bought a bag for my daughter (birthday gift). Had it not been a gift for her, I would have walked out after 20 minutes. LV needs to take a page from Gucci’s SA training. On this trip, the Gucci employees tripped over themselves to be accommodating. I’m not a spring chick, but I do know bad service. We were there to spend money. The employees should act like they know that.

Had a wonderful experience at this LV. We had an awful experience at Hermes so we decided to come to LV for some shopping to forget and Daniel did an excellent job at being very professional, educated, and hospitable. He is a truly great employee and did a great job speaking in English for us. I would highly highly recommend coming here for your Luxury needs.

The customer service is definitely lacking at this location. Situated on Passeig de Gracia, the«Avenue des Champs-Élysées» of Barcelona, Louis Vuitton is neighbored by many ultra high-end luxury brands like Chanel and Hermes. We stopped by on Christmas Eve to pick up a few souvenirs and were greeted by the doorman with a warm welcome. From that point on, it was all downhill. One of the sales associates(SAs) told us we weren’t allowed to bring in our Starbucks and could put them on the side table, which was fine; but by the time we were done shopping, they had thrown out our drinks. Not a big deal, but not appreciated. We browsed the store and no one approached us or asked if we needed help for at least 20-minutes. We wanted to see a bag and waved down two or three SAs only to be ignored. When an SA finally came over to help us, he did it begrudgingly and never once smiled until we finished paying. And he tried to rush us out the door afterwards! We saw SAs passing out champagne and other beverages, but when we asked for water upstairs in the men’s department, our SA told us we had to go downstairs to get it and never followed up. We spent € 3600 here(Montaigne MM, cosmetic pouch, toiletry pouch 19, and a men’s wallet), I think we deserve some damn water if we ask for it. Given the attitude of our SA, if it wasn’t for the slightly reduced prices and VAT return, I would’ve walked out without purchasing anything. Not worth the stop unless you’re from overseas and plan on buying something.

This is a lovely Louis Vuitton store but they seem to be understaffed. I waited an eternity for someone to help me. Once I got help the associate was wonderful, but I was surprised to see that type of service gap in a Louis Vuitton store.
