Estupenda comida italiana. Fresca y autentica! Paso por este lugar casi todos los días y un domingo por la tarde por fin nos animamos a comer ahí. El local es un poco pequeño pero el personal es muy amable. Todas las pastas que tienen son frescas y hechas en el local, incluyendo las cortas como el rigatoni y los macarrones. Cada día tienen un plato «especial» que depende de lo que los chefs elijan en el mercado local (Santa Caterina).
Optamos por probar dos tapitas: Queso provolone ahumado en salsa ragú al horno, servido con pan fresco del mercado. Espectacular y delicioso, el provolone tenía un rico sabor ahumado que era bastante punzante (en el mejor sentido de la palabra) y que iba perfectamente bien con la salsa y el pan. Los tomates secos al sol con olivas kalamata también estaban bastante buenos. Si eres fan de la comida italiana auténtica y fresca, lo recomiendo totalmente! :)

Thanks to Unilocal,we found this great little spot just down the street from our Airbnb. Turned out to be one of the best meals ever! Loved the décor, food, and vibe.
I can see this place being franchised across the world. Seriously. It’s that good.

A great find for authentic homemade Italian pastas perfectly located in El Born in Barcelona.
The pastas are all fresh and homemade and you really can tell the difference. The sauces are equally fresh and tasty.
Very casual and tight seating. Not a place to linger after you have finished. You can get in and out fairly quickly (maybe 30 minutes).
Great spot to bring kids — my 5 year old loved this place. You can watch the chef making your food.
Desserts and wines by the glass are also very good.
They are definitely open for dinner until at least 22:30. Not sure if they were open for lunch or late-night.

Delicious pasta spot. Pasta dishes are «build your own», as you can select the type of noodle, sauce and toppings that you would like. Fresh caprese salad as well. Highly recommended and friendly staff.

This is a fresh pasta take away restaurant with small sit-in area. Maccarroni was a good find — the pasta is delicious and the emphasis is on simplicity done to perfection. You can add to basic sauces as you wish, such as tomato/basil, arrabiata or cheese, with a list of extra ingredients, or just keep it completely simple with a tasty sauce and parmesan. Prices are reasonable, there is one chef on duty and you can see your food being prepared — it can take a little time depending on how busy it is, but it´s worth it. Of an evening you could find a nice shaded spot in one of the numerous civic spaces in the area and eat al fresco. There isn´t a big emphasis on Italian food in this area and this is a welcome break from the multitudes of tapas bars all around. For pizza lovers, they put us in touch with Nap pizzerea just around the corner — equally authentic and reasonably priced.
