This is honestly my favorite restaurant in the city. Every visit we come here, this last time we even went two nights in a row! You choose your own fresh seafood so you can have a selection of everything if you want. The lobster paella is out of this world! Our go to meal for 2 of us is always fried calamari, lobster paella, a bottle of Pero Verde and dessert. That adds up to about € 75, which is a bargain for the quality. Service is always good and prompt, never any complaints there and the food comes out quick.

We went here and the service from the staff was wonderful! They have an area up at the front where they have the fresh seafood that gets cooked up. We had the lobster paella, which was very good! The paella fed 3 adults. I also ordered a grilled lobster by itself. The flan and arroz con leche are really good!

The best place for fresh seafood at highly affordable prices. Best to go with a party of more than 2 persons since this enables one to sample and order many different dishes to share. You won’t regret it.

Bueno pues otra vez me tope con que mi grupo de amigos quería tomar aquí el almuerzo y eran todos contra mi así es de que fui.
Aciertos y desaciertos !
El pulpo con paprika y aceite de olivo fatal con textura blanda y tufo a mar
La sepia al ajillo deliciosa, fresca y firme; lo mismo con los calamares baby.
Excelente la salsa marinara de las almejas aunque las almejas en si muy pequeñas y con trozos de arena
Los padrones fritos la verdad malos y a medio hacer.
Las patatas bravas buenas al igual que la salsa (alioli); ensalada verde pues normal y verduras asadas bien a excepción de la alcachofa que estaba mini, cruda y seca.
Los mejillones incomibles muy apestosos
Servicio atento pero muy tardado, tan así que llego el marisco y ya estábamos a tope con el pan y las bebidas.
A pesar de todo esto, la sepia estaba TAN buena que SI regresaría solo por eso.

Food was excellent, but the service was ok, when paying at the end the waitress was extremely rude and overcharged us with an extra person for the menu del dia. The manager was very apologetic but the ‘bad waitress’ blamed on others.

Pescado y marisco de calidad al peso, precio muy razonable y servicio más que correcto. Hemos pedido un poco de todo (éramos ocho) y estaba todo muy bueno. Las raciones de arroz con bogavante son bastante grandes.

Our goal was to try a few tapas while running around this amazing city.
We entered Plaza Real and had the task of choosing one of the restaurants. I saw the array of fresh seafood on display at the entrance and had to eat there.
Staff was great. The location in the plaza couldn’t be beat. Beautiful fall day, enjoying our lunch on the outside terrace. Their Sangria was delicious. We got the Iberic ham tapa, Bread with tomato, Fried Potato Chips, and the Cigalas/​langostine. The food was okay but nothing special. So we didn’t order anything else.

My husband and I ran into a random student at the airport who wouldn’t stop talking to us and he ended up recommending this restaurant. Luckily it was very close to our hotel and in fact we ate here twice. It was hard for us to figure out when they opened since we arrived in Barcelona on a Sunday and everything was closed.
When you first walk in, you see all the fresh seafood on the counter and you can pick what you want and they’ll weigh it. Depending on how you want it cooked, they’ll give you recommendations on what to order. On our first visit, we ordered some large prawns for our paella, a recommendation from the workers and some oysters.
After waiting for just a little while, the paella came out — an ENORMOUS portion for just two people. We stuffed ourselves silly with the paella and the prawns were excellent. Oysters were also very fresh but nothing special.
On our next visit, we actually ate lunch prior to coming here, but knew we wanted more before heading back to the states. We ordered the calamari from the counter and had them grill it for us in oil and garlic. Once again, it was very fresh and delicious. I think we ordered oysters again too. If I were hungrier, I would’ve gotten the paella again but this was just enough to fill us up for our second lunch. I would definitely return multiple times the next time I am in Barcelona!

¿Es una pescadería? ¡No! Es el restaurante Marisco.
Cuando entras en el restaurante te encuentras el típico hielo picado con el pescado «Gambas riquísimas! del norte, señoras, compren!».
No, no es así, pero en este restaurante, su especialidad es el pescado y el marisco. Tienen una carta de X el quilo, muy curioso, no creéis? Buenísimo todo, y si te lo puedes comer con el buen tiempecito en su terraza, muchísimo mejor.

Marisco tiene una linda terraza en la acera donde casi siempre da el sol y se le suma como atractivo el verde de las plantas que hay alrededor. Es un resto donde puedes pedir el menú desde la carta o bien eligiendo algunas de las opciones que hay de pescados y mariscos. Lo cocinan delante de ti y en pocos minutos te lo sirven en tu mesa. Prolijos hasta el último detalle. Fui con amigas y probamos pulpo. Estaba riquísimo. Es un sitio agradable para ir a almorzar. La atención es cordial. Voilà!
