This restaurant is in a nice spot right on a corner off of Las Ramblas. That is probably why it is a bit pricey for what you get food wise. Bottom line seems to be good spot and atmosphere, food was fine (had the lamb, salad and fries), and on the high price side. Staff was friendly but busy.

Wir haben ca 40 min auf das Essen warten müssen. Lokal sehr eng… die vorbei laufenden Gäste Räumen einem fast den Tisch ab.
Die Portionen sind eher klein…
Es gibt bessere Restaurants…
Paella 16 € Sangria 6 €…
Hühnchen und Pommer waren für 12 € viel zu wenig… keine 10 pommes???

Let’s be honest here, this is full of tourists and there are other places for tapas. That said, I came here for some of the most wonderful servers in Barcelona.
They all were quite funny, brought people into the conversation and generally made any non-​locals feel like they were in the warmest city in the world.
Although the food was nothing special, they made me laugh.

Had the tapas special. I opted for the cheese and tomato salad and I was happy because the cheese was not salty at all. The paella was delish. It was flavorful and yummy and not dry at all. I am very picky with my paella and this one delivered with tons of seafood. I do not normal eat seafood nowadays so I was amazed by their paella. The dessert was chocolate cake. Not impressed. Kim, the tier, is very informative and knowledgeable about their dishes and provided me a brief intro on Spanish lifestyle. Right on La Rambla! Free wifi too!!!

Barcelona es una ciudad de contrastes, de fusiones, llena de extranjeros que quedan enamorados de la ciudad condal y que deciden venirse a vivir aquí.
¿Pero qué ocurre si se mezclan las recetas americanas y la arquitectura catalano-​francesa de principios del siglo XX? Que se fundan locales como el American Soda.
El año pasado, este establecimiento situado en el centro neurálgico de Barcelona, cumplió el siglo de vida. Lo más peculiar es encontrar el típico cartel catalán modificado para que, en lugar de publicitar productos de la península, haga mención a las «patatas chip» americanas. El local se enorgullece de ser el primero de toda la ciudad en ofrecer este típico plato americano, y sigue siendo uno de sus acompañamientos estrella en cualquiera de sus menús de mediodía que rondan los 8 euros.
