Along passeig Joan Borbo is a ton of seafood restaurants near the Barceloneta metro stop. It’s almost random chance that we chose this one and it was a good random chance. It wasn’t until after we got in and sat down that I realized the entire place is ran by Indians(I suspect they bought the restaurant from a previous owner which is why it’s the«New» Can Tipa); The food is soooooo delicious though. I also like the fact that they ddin’t make you pay two people portion for the paella. We had: — olives(3.75): pretty good — Croquetas x 2(4.50×2): REALLY good — each portion came with five small croquetas and we got two portions — paella de marsico/seafood paella for ONE(11.50) — so good that I scraped every last but of the paella off of the pan. — half litre of Sangria(9.00) — decent — bread(2.00) The total was 38.07 euros. Loved every bit of it.
