Lovely coffee shop with free wifi and delicious cakes! Coffee is one of the best in Gracia and also in Barcelona. Have a filter coffee instead of the regular espresso and enjoy the flavor!

This place is great! In a city that isn’t known for great coffee, you will be able to find it here. I was in BCN for a month and finally found drip coffee here. You can have it made by whichever method you prefer. It is good imported coffee from Costa Rica and roasted in BCN. The staff is helpful and friendly, and they also have a small selection of pastries and sandwiches.

Tasty coffee and treats. It’s a hipster joint for sure but they back it up with legit coffee and eats. If you’re a coffee snob, ie into your chemexes, aeropresses and v60s, you’ll be happy out here. The place itself is small enough but cosy all the same. Service is efficient but not exactly friendly. Will be back!

Best flat white I have had in the Northern Hemisphere. Aussies and Kiwis should head here for great coffee and free wifi

Sweet small local coffee café. Drips and espresso drinks. Some small food items, empanadas and sweets. Coffees were strong and thick with cream, just like I like them.

Really really fantastic coffee and treats. Seriously the coffee is just exceptional — and this is coming from a true Seattle coffee snob! To top it off the staff is incredibly courteous. Plan to visit every day of my trip to Barcelona.

A cute café with friendly staff, carefully crafted coffee and delicious pastry! The basked rosemary adds an amazing texture to the lemon cake which has a well-balanced flavor between sourness and sweetness! The iced latte is perfect for a sunny afternoon, although I should’ve ordered the regular latte just for the beautiful latte art they make LOL(I regretted after seeing their Instagram pictures haha). Also, with the free wifi and an open space in the back, it’s a good place to study as well.

Just want to basically repeat the prior reviews here in saying this really is the best coffee in Barca, and actually the prices are pretty much the same as what I normally pay at the corner bodega cafes. These dudes definitely know their coffee, and it’s worth a visit(or perhaps a move) to the Gracia district to get it!

After encountering several cafes serving vacuum packed coffee, it was a pleasure to stumble upon this little café. Good coffee, a decent selection of pastry and unpretentious service. There is also free wi-fi as well as a good number of tables for 1 or 2 to sit and enjoy.

Ok coffee and cake, friendly service but feels like any generic café that’s on trend at the moment

Great little café tucked away in a side street. Best coffee I’ve had in Barcelona. Staff are friendly, talkative and fun. There is often a bunch of startup people working away over a coffee in the back room. Been a few times our dog as well.

Wonderful café in Gracia. The Costa Rican coffee is fantastic, and the overall feel is quite quaint. Great place to go to get some work done, at least for now. It’s new and already very popular; as tourist season picks up, it’s going to get more packed and noisy.

Really authentic, sauve and tasty coffee from Costa Rica. I’ve rarely found such good coffee places in Barcelona and would recommend it to anyone who is quality conscious. These guys make excellent coffee!

Onna café is one of the few outposts on the speciality coffee scene in Barcelona. In Spain and Catalunya, as in many southern European countries the coffee quality is horrendous(low quality beans, usually a lot of robusta). Among the average consumer there is no willingness to pay more than something like € 1 – 1.5 for a cup and that of course makes it difficult to deliver high quality coffee. The lack of quality coffee has often been one of my main dislikes about Barcelona but something is really changing here. There are a few places that are doing a pretty decent job of it. Onna is one of them but on the list is also the ‘veteran of the bunch’ Satan’s coffee corner, Nomad Coffee, True Artisan Café and Skye Coffee. Most of these will be reviewed in coming coffee Monday posts. [gallery size=“large” columns=“2″ ids=“1294,1295,1299,1304″] Back to Onna though, it is in the fancy neighborhood of Grácia. On a small backstreet and I would not just have stumbled upon on it but I am glad I went looking for it. The place is not big and it has been packed with people on my visits. They do however somehow manage to keep the service fairly quick, and it is usually possible to find a table or seat somewhere. There is also free wifi so it is possible to sit and slack here for a longer time but be prepared that it will be full. The staff are very friendly and are passionate about coffee in general and Costa Rican coffee specifically. All the coffee served is from Costa Rica as are the staff and owners. It is a nice concept and while I do not want to have Costa Rican coffee everyday it is a nice niche. They offer well-executed espresso based beverages. They are not world class but very good and looking at the competition in Barcelona they are awesome. The filter coffee selection varies between two to four different Costa Rican coffees and it is also possible to select the method. I would recommend the Aeropress as it has been the best cups I have had there. The V60 is in general more tricky and quality varies more but even when on the V60 it has mostly been very good here. They source their coffee directly from Costa Rica and they also roast it themselves. There is a nice selection of pastries, light dishes and sandwiches. Food is decent but to be frank I do not come here for the food(it is not bad but I have other places I rather go to in Barcelona for food) so would stick to coffee and some pastries.

Cute café in Gracia. A welcome departure from the many standard cafes nearby — quaint with good music. Oh and they serve Costa Rican coffee! Only recommendation would be to serve more food! Only bakery items were out when I came by.

Onna makes what can only be described as a nearly perfect flat white. It’s the best coffee anywhere in Barca, without hesitation! It’s a small café that only boasts Costa Rican roasts, but it’s charming and the baristas take a great deal of care in their craft.

Just saying…
