Peluquería BOT

I usually don’t do much with my hair but since I recently moved to Barcelona I decided it was time for a change – I walked into Peluqueria Bot on a random thursday, showed them a picture of what I wanted, and it turned out even better! The stylist was so fun and the atmosphere made me feel so comfortable. I recommend this to anyone!

I love my usually hair stylist, but I just moved to Barcelona from the U.S. and had to bite the bullet. I researched online and came across BOT, made an appointment, and went with the formulas/​directions that my stylist back home gave me. The end result, the highlights were great, but the base color had a tiny bit of red in it (I’m a no red type of gal), the cut was great, and the style was amazing.
Will I go back? Definitely. I have no doubt that the slight red was due to his trying to follow the english directions I gave him and think if I let him simply do his thing it would have come out perfect.
English:
Limited english is spoken here, but understood well enough and honestly, we’re in Barcelona, Spain — it’s time to learn Spanish or Catalan. I suggest not worrying too much about the language factor and just let them do their thing.

Cesar — he was great and as I said, if I let him do his own thing, which he actually requested for the next go around :-), I’m sure it would have been 100% perfection.

Acabé en BOT por una urgencia, uno de esos días que tienes que arreglarte sí o sí y en mi peluquería habitual no podían darme cita. El servicio fue correcto, diría incluso que bueno, aunque yo tampoco fui a hacerme un cambio de look radical, era muy fácil salir del paso: cortar unas simples puntas y retocar el flequillo.
El personal me pareció amable pero un pelín frío y, para mí, las peluquerías son como pequeños confesionarios esporádicos, no concibo que alguien esté metiendo mano en mi pelo sin mediar palabra, me parece un acto demasiado íntimo para despacharlo con una absoluta indiferencia. Pero, evidentemente, esto es algo coyuntural que depende de la persona que te atiende, y de la clase de trato que uno quiere recibir…
Los productos que utilizan son de muy buena calidad, especialmente el acondicionador. Pero a pesar de eso, me pareció excesivamente cara. Por ese precio prefiero otras peluquerías de pedigrí similar pero de trato un poco más cercano.

Quería hacer un cambio de look y una amiga me comentó que había una peluquería que me lo harían muy bien. Es una peluquería unisex con aires modernos en medio de Ciutat Vella. Las peluqueras son muy profesionales, y estoy encantada con Leila. De hecho, cada vez que voy pido por ella. Si lo que quieres es un corte de pelo diferente y gran profesionalidad esta es tu peluquería.

En BOT te tratan como un rey. Otra cosa no, pero desde luego no te despachan en 5 minutos. Al contrario, te dan conversación, te arreglan la pelambrera con sosiego y buen tino y se toman su tiempo en recortarte las patillas de hombre-​lobo. Claro que también lo pagas.
BOT es una buena opción cuando uno necesita una peluquería seria por el centro que huya de las cadenas o tenga algo más de pasta para gastarse en un arreglo decente (que tampoco es que sea una locura de caro, pero algo así es). Viene bien si eres ejecutivo y te quieres tirar el rollo o si te quieres tirar el rollo a secas.
¿Y cómo cortan? Pues oye bien. Yo soy de los que siempre sale llorando de la peluquería y en BOT como mucho se me humedecen algo los ojos.
