Lots of choices with Paella, including veg Paella available. Service is friendly and pretty quick too. Love their location right in the center of La Rambla street. Must try chicken Paella and Tapas. Enjoy.

0 starts if possible. people and place are disgusting. On the streets, the men will find you, push you, and coerce you to enter their bar. On the inside, it is as creepy as the promoters. Stay away at all costs.

Tourist Trap with capital T’s. I felt a little bad after being rude to the person handing out flyers, plus we were STARVING, so on our way back up Las Ramblas, we stopped in. Place was upstairs and shady looking. Odd collection of people, and super pushy staff. We ordered Nachos and it was literally something you can make at home in the microwave. Yuck. We finished our cocktail, which was super sweet, and high tailed it out of that place. Please, even if you’re hungry, just keep walking past this place. It sucks in all aspects.

This bar literally stole from us. We walked in and were then offered a free shot! We only wanted one drink, so that was perfect. They then gave my friend and I a shot and five minutes later two cups of red bull for 16 euros. We never ordered redbull. We didn’t drink it. They wouldn’t let us leave until we paid. If you want to pay the equivalent of $ 20 for one red bull, this place will be your heaven. This bar’s strategy is to trick you, rather than be authentic. They steal. Don’t ever go here!

We stopped by here to find churros and chocolate! When nearby La Rambla you have to make a stop here and try the chocolate and churros!

So I sat on a seat next to a window overlooking the street alone and ordered couple drinks ANDFOOD. But one of the staff(no the one processed my order) asked me to sit at the bar because I was alone. wTF? And it was his words with no modification. And drinks were expensive 10 euros for a cocktail. And they charged more eventually when you swipe your card than than the price mentioned in the menu! But I would say they have perfect location and view!

If you are walking Las Ramblas at any time of day or night, the odds are increasingly high that someone will ask if you are looking for a place to drink, to follow them and they will show you the way to alcoholic heaven. Quite coincidentally, prior to being asked if we wanted to a place to drink, we had observed the second floor exterior of Patagonia, not knowing it was Patagonia, and thought it looked like a perfect spot for an adult cocktail with a view of the pedestrian carnival that is Las Ramblas. So when a young Muscovite transplant led us to the pre-identified spot, expectations were high. Well, my friends, the scenic vista open aired window spot is a gross misrepresentation of the space that is better described as an interior for guzzling weak drinks. Don’t come here for an ambiance of sophistication but do come to observe young representatives of the European Union drunkenly stumble down stairs(repeatedly) and seek out fellow countrymen(and women) for shots. The mojitos were so sugary I am convinced ten packets of sugar were added. The mojitos were prepared so quickly that I am convinced a huge vat of mojito liquid is tapped into for every order. Don’t order mojitos. You are better off sticking with bottled beer, meeting a Nordic nympho and celebrating with barely legal Brits, which this bar had no shortage of. Once the expectations are adjusted, it’s actually not all that bad a place to hang out and observe humanity. In fact, we returned a second night as most of the restaurants were closed by that point but Patagonia promised(and delivered) acceptable eats at that hour. Think nachos and a wrap with melted cheese, hardly the stuff of José Andrés but satisfying nonetheless. So mentally prepare for a visit to Patagonia, forgo the diabetic shock inducing drinks, have an order of nachos, maybe an Estrella Damm and behold the spectacle of European youth in all their drunken glory.

I landed in Barcelona, checked in to my hotel, and started wandering. I was starving, and no place I saw seemed quintessentially Barcelona enough to have as a first meal. When I entered Las Ramblas(tourist central) some guy was handing out flyers for this place. I knew it was a mistake but I went in anyway. I was led to a table and the guy asked where was from. I said New York. He said«Alright! New York!» and then started laughing to his buddy. They were playing club music. In front of me was a flatscreen TV with a slideshow of pics you would see on a bar website(people doing shots, random groups screaming, etc.). At least 58% of the people in the pictures had soul patches. I got a tortilla type thing, which had lukewarm jamon iberico, some arugula, and a little cheese. Please don’t go here.
