Great views of the city and great drinks. The drinks are tasty but they are a bit on the pricey side but, then again, it’s a hotel bar. It’s a nice escape just off the Ramblas.

We went during the day on a week day. It was fairly empty which was great because we sat on one of those bed-​like couches with a canopy. It was also unbearably hot. The staff was pretty attentive and the food was very good. We got huevos rotos (broken eggs with amazing chorizo) which was so good we spent the rest of our trip to Spain trying to find something similar. We also got the ham croquetas which we good and plentiful.

Beautiful view. Poor service. In fact, this was the worst service that we had in Spain. The server lacked couth. He was running around all over the place, talking into his walkie talkie while serving drinks, it seemed like he didn’t want us there. We got our bill served to us with our first round of drinks. Definitely did not feel welcome.

Fantastic terrace bar at the top of the hotel H1898. Dropped by with the intent of having a glass of cava and then moving on, but wound up staying the entire afternoon. This oasis makes you forget the intense La Rambla that the hotel is located on. Friendly, professional staff, good cocktails and cava, and a nice, lazy lounge groups to spend the day or evening in.

Wohl eine der schönsten Rooftopbars, die ich auf meinen Reisen gesehen habe.
Direkt auf dem Dach des Hotels 1898 im Herzen von Barcelona gelegen.
Sehr schönes Ambiente. Tolle einladende Loungemöbel. Sehr gute Gtränke– und Speisekarte. Man will gar nicht mehr dort weg. Zu allem Überfluss hat man auch noch einen atemberaubenden Blick über die Stadt.
