Very very bland phở bo broth. Not authentic phở flavors whatsoever. It tastes like artificial beef water. Also the shrimp and meat spring roll was so salty. I couldn’t finish eating the foods here. Don’t come here if you are used to having authentic phở noodle soup. They should be ashamed for all the phở souvenir shirts they have for sale on the wall. Instant ramen noodles taste better. The young guy gave poor customer service to foreigners. He has a bad attitude as well because he forgot how to be a decent waiter.

Very Good Phở!!! I was extremely happy to literally stumble across this nice restaurant! I used to live in the US and was used to eating authentic Phở, so my expectations were a bit high. I’ve been in BCN for about three years and was desperately looking for a nice place to have Phở and I got to say I finally found it!!! The phở bo comes in a large bowl! It was quite large for the portion standards here in Europe, so it was perfect. Great service! Super clean! And the place looks pretty new and chic! To my surprise it’s been open for over four years now! Great place to try when you are tired of eating the typical tapas and bocadillos. Especially great for the winter months coming up! Two thumbs up!

I grew up in Hawaii where a multitude of Asian foods is very common and we have great inexpensive Vietnamese restaurants that serve amazing phở. I also lived the past six years in Los Angeles partially beacuse it’s close to Hawaii and still has great Asian food. I moved to Barcelona about a month ago and was lucky enough to find this place around the corner from me! The interior is decorated clean and modern and is very cute. The summer rolls are great I wish they had a few more lettuce and Mint inside. The spring rolls I have yet to try and I’m very curious about the«ancient» family recipe. The phở I find to be a 8.5 out of 10(given that we are in Spain) it comes with the appropriate vegetables… my only criticism is the broth should be stronger. And I am used to a slightly bigger portion. Most phở places I like and frequent at home serve you so much that you end up overrating(which is kinda great) here you can share two appetizers and eat a phở to yourself and be reasonably full… But at my other spots I’d be dying if I tried to do the same. Lol I am so glad to have a healthy Vietnamese restaurant so nearby I wish they were like my favorite spot in Hawaii called ba-le and they also served the Vietnamese plate lunch and sandwiches! Don’t take my words too seriously this placing is phở king great but I had to put in my two cents.

Platos abundantes. Yo no pude acabar mi sopa.

No tengo palabras. Absolutamente recomendable. Ah!

The soup is plain and almost tasteless. Compared to LA and Paris. Here is far from passing the score. But for Asian. A bowl of soup noodles are always warm us up — not only physically. Added chilly n sweet source. It is still satisfying for my thirst of Asian cuisine.

I’m no phở expert, but I love to have it whenever I’m in California where it’s pretty common. Being back to Barcelona I determined to find some here in the city. This place was in my opinion the tastiest of the three options I tried, the two others being La Vietnamita and Bun Bo. The place is small-ish(7 – 8 tables), prices are affordable and they offer menú del dia for 10 € + drink. They’re pretty quick in serving you, too. I had some summer rolls and chicken phở. The phở was served with the usual herbs, spicy peppers, lime and fish sauce. I really enjoyed the combination, and it’s comparable to other good phở I’ve had. I’ll be back to try their avocado ice cream. Om!

Phở is my favorite food so I make it a point to try it whenever/wherever I travel. I do this even if my better judgment tells me that it likely wont be as good as what I can receive back home in CA. Still it’s a fun diversion and I was excited to come here during my trip to Barcelona. The restaurant is fairly small, but nicely decorated with a crisp white modern look — very nice and clean. It’s run by a Vietnamese ex-pat who also places old black and white pictures of him and his family which really add a nostalgic vibe that harkens back to the good ol’ days. The phở options are pretty minimal — Bo(beef), Ga(chicken), Meatballs, Tofu and that’s it. The rest of the menu is populated by other standard Vietnamese dishes like spring rolls. My gf and I got Beef and Chicken. The broth is light, so you’re probably gonna need to add some fish sauce, but it turned out okay. However, the noodles they use here are NOT the typical banh phở rice noodles and are thicker. It didn’t quite work for me in that department. Overall, it’s okay phở at best, but I’m happy someone is holding down the fort and representing Vietnamese cuisine here in Barcelona. I’m not sure if the deviances are to cater to the Catalonian palate or having less ready access to the necessary ingredients(proper rice noodles man!), but it’s not the worst place to take a break from Spanish & Catalan cuisine for awhile.

Estupendo restaurante vietnamita.
