Tapa Tapa

Very disappointing. The service was awful and they lost half of our order. When they discovered that they lost our order and we decided that we were finished with our meal, they offered to bring the rest of our tapas. They served are tapas to the table next to us. They offered 10% off our meal. We noticed that our table was not the only one receiving incorrect tapas. This is like going to a chain restaurant. The only great things that I can say about this restaurant is the view of the harbor.

Great location right on Barcelona beach – great views form outdoor seating. My friend and I came here for the 2 paella for 17 € deal, which came with a free potato with spicy sauce tapa (called potatas bravas). The tapa was delicious – traditional Spanish tapa with delicious spicy sauce and perfectly crisped potato wedges and perfect size for a tapa. The paella deal was disappointing though… we thought it was going to be 2 separate paellas, one for each of us. But instead it came in a larger pan with a really thin layer of paella, so it barely filled us up. So the portion looked big and fit for 2, but the portion was extremely small. The taste is a bit oversalted (I’ve tried the same seafood paella elsewhere). Overall, still a good experience because of the views and the potatoes.

Die Location ist wirklich nett, direkt an Wasser und die Tapas sehen sehr gut aus und schmecken auch gut.
Jedoch hatten wir das Gefühl, dass wir sehr schnell abgefertigt werden sollten, damit wieder Platz für neue Gäste ist. Der Kellner war auch sonst nicht der freundlichste.
Nichtsdestotrotz leckere Speisen zu angemessenen Preisen!
Hier kann man also gut und gerne essen gehen (und wenn der Service dann passt, sind auch 4 Sterne drin!).

Good tapas! I thought it was tapes earlier so I was wondering if I was going to get a tape worm. Came here once and didn’t get a tape worm! So I went again the next day!
This is like a buffet style restaurant, but it’s not a buffet and you have to pay for each dish. I guess you would say it’s not really a buffet, but there are small portions kind of like tapas. I think that’s why they called it tapa tapa.
They swipe your credit card in front of you so that’s cool. They bring out the little credit card swiper and do it in front of your eyes. It was an amazing experience. ⁵⁄₅: did not get tape worms.

all my stars are for the great sea view and friendly staff. Don’t forget to share Sangria.

I came here after a long day of shopping nearby. My stomach was completely empty since I skipped breakfast. So I had to find a place to eat quick! Since this location is very close to the mall, I decided to try it out.
The waitress/​hostess approached me and welcomed me to choose any seat. She was very nice. My waitress came and greeted me. She too, was sweet. I ordered the shrimp and crab «small sandwich» … thd number one, I think, and the grilled chicken and asparagus tapa. Both were delicious! So good, in fact, that I ordered another shrimp and crab small sandwich! I topped everything off with sangria!
The prices were ok. Not too expensive, but not cheap either.
Overall, nice place. I would def come back!

Right on the waterfront. Finger food and cold beer watching the harbour and people going about their business. Food itself was good, location was even better.

Beautiful view its the main reason we decided to go to Tapa Tapa. There is outdoor seating and you can see Barceloneta Beach from here. The patatas bravas and torta was very good. I also liked the white sangria.

Very slow service here! You can sit outdoors as well, since it’s hot inside, too! I had the:
–steak: pretty tasty, and with mushrooms!
–risotto: nice amount of cheese on top!
–chicken: pretty standard
–mozzarella and tomatoes: came with olives as well… was ok
This place was ok overall, as a simple tapas spot right next to the mall!

Expensive but decent for a restaurant in a mall. I recommend you dive deeper into the city and check out less touristy restaurants. Location is good as you can see the harbor directly from your table. Great place to end a day if you are tired from shopping.

Situé face à la mer sur la plage de la barceloneta, ce restaurant de tapas nous a attirés par sa décoration contemporaine et dynamique. Très bons tapas pour un prix pas trop excessif. En revanche, les desserts manquent un peu de subtilité.

Located on the corner spot by the harbor is one of the best seats in town. That is about where the good stuff ends. The food and service isn’t bad, but it is touristy and underwhelming.
Grab a table outside, order a variety of tapas, a picture of sangria and soak in the touristy side of Barcelona. Don’t feel guilty.

Quality below average, most of the cocktails weren’t available, service was friendly though.

one of the many tourist friendly chains in espana. we opted to sit outside (despite the tiny extra charge)…people watching was so worth it. the menu comes in several different languages, and they have a picture menu for those of us who prefer not to read. simply point to order. t means tapes/​tapas (smaller portions), and r means raciones (larger portions). we went the small plate route, so we could save space for the rest of the food we’d be devouring throughout the day.
we ordered the musclos and cheese croquettes. the croquettes were some of the best… EVER, and the mussels were tiny, but fresh and delicious. they even came with an iddy biddy bowl of fries. reminded me of the states.
probably wont be my first choice next time around (still on the search for hole in the wall tapas places), but serves as a great default.

Looking for a place for lunch at the end of Rambla de Mar. They have outdoor eating on the patio, inside eating and more tables outside away from the Centre Maremagnum.
We ate inside and here’s what was ordered:
–½ liter of sangria: slices of oranges and lemons in this pitcher. Perfect on a sunny day near the water.
–patates braves: thick cut fries that could be spicier
–patates amb aioli: tiny fries with the right amount of garlic
–pintxo moruno: delicious and tender pork
–crepes de marisc: don’t get
–xoricets: spicy sausages which were oily but good
–musclos amb patates fregides: a must get!
–graellada de marisc: get the mussels and fries over this
–llagostins cruixents: fried shrimp with tartar sauce… yum!
Service was friendly and our waiter spoke English. It was easy to order as their placemat had pictures of everything and there is a menu book if you want more detail of what’s in every dish.
Certain dishes are only tapa sized and some you can get in a larger size (racio). The seafood was delicious and I would definitely come back!

Die Tapas sind ok, aber nicht überragend. Spanisches Bier gibt es nicht; wer trinkt eigentlich ein Weizen zu seinen Tapas? Leckerer Cava ist flaschenweise aber recht preiswert. Die Lage mit Blick auf den Hafen ist unbezahlbar

Ganz nette Location, direkt am Wasser, die Tapas die dort serviert werden sehen gepflegt aus, sind wirklich gut und es gibt eine grosse Vielfalt, Kellner sind nett und schnell.
Preistechnisch für Barcelona und den Standort auch ganz ok.
Kann ich empfehlen.

Sehr schön gelegen, mit Aussenbereich direkt am Wasser.
Habe einen der Cocktails (auf der Karte als alkoholischer Cocktail für 7.50EUR gelistet) in nicht-​alkoholischer Fassung bestellt — der wurde dann für volle 7.50EUR abgerechnet. Das finde ich schon ziemlich verkehrt. Trotz schöner Lage würde ich deswegen dort also nicht mehr hingehen. Dann lieber umsonst auf den Bänken mit Blick aufs Wasser sitzen — und später im gotischen Viertel in ein Café gehen.

Paella, tapas, a gorgeous harbour view, and fun, friendly staff what more could you ask for in a restaurant? Free Cava? Well I won’t say no! Tapa Tapa Restaurant sits in the Maremagnum Centre in Barcelona’s scenic harbour, a tourist trap which many local restaurants would easily exploit but for a dinner for four and many a bottle of Cava, my friends and I found this to be well worth the not-​so-​hefty price we were charged. You get a traditional Spanish meal without having to trek too far from the beach which is incredibly ideal after a hard day off sun, surf and sea.
