Bueno pero un poco caro para lo que es… Pero el local es bonito y muy bien decorado. Venden muchos productios mexicanos.

We love the takeaway chicken enchiladas from the case. The mole is to die for! The salsa verde enchiladas are fantastic as well!

This place was excellent! My friends and I were craving quality Mexican food on our tour throughout Europe and we were thrilled with this place. The burritos were large and delicious and I would highly recommend eating here!

Su guacamole está muy muy bueno! Si tienes una cena con amigos te recomiendo pasar a comprarlo, además le añaden un poco de granada que le da un toque genial!

Not the worst burrito I’ve ever had but certainly not good. We had the Supercarne y uno de al pastor. The meat was dry and flavorless, the beans were flavorless, (not sure if there were any) the guacamole was not fresh, the lettuce tasted off and it was the wrong kind of lettuce. There was no real sauce on the burrito, no pico de gallo, nada. There was really nothing good about this burrito. The only tasty thing they had was a housemade chipotle sauce. I would not recommend their burritos.

I’ve been craving true socal/​mexican restaurant for weeks now. This place is the perfect combination of true mexican food (the carnitas in super carne actually taste homemade instead of dry) combined with chipotle which normally I hate but for some reason I couldn’t get enough of it here. If there is a better mexican joint around here I will find it otherwise this place it awesome.

This is a nice place to go for a quick bite. I went with a vegetarian friend who picked out a pre-​prepared salad with lettuce, mango, cheese and a dressing that she really enjoyed (6 €). I got the supercarnes burrito (about 8 €) which I liked a lot. There were also a bunch of bottled drinks, and we picked out the horchata to share (2 €).
This place is similar to a chipotle, but not the same format. The burritos and tacos are predesigned, so you can’t really create a burrito for scratch yourself. But there are still a lot of options, just trust the flavors and combinations are there.

Not much flavor from the 4 tacos ordered. Took 30 min to prep food which makes no sense cuz everything was cooked and just needed to be put altogether. I’m from the California which have great Mexican food… So perhaps I have very high standards.

El burrito cubano muy regular. El problema de este local es que no tiene un estándar de calidad. Los que hacen los burritos no saben hacerlos. Se suponía que el burrito debía llevar huevo frito y los pusieron revueltos, se suponía que debía llevar chorizos y no tenía. Era un burrito de arroz y frijoles.

Mexican food should be bursting with flavor, and this has none. I had a carne asada burrito and the meat had no seasoning and a chewy texture. There was no sauce of any kind in the burrito, but there were a selection to add. After living in California for five years, I came to love burritos. This is nothing like a taco truck burrito. This is another sad example of food that is supposed to be tasty being completely watered down.

Wow. Not really great food. I really want to give this place 3 stars because of how cool the inside is in terms of a Mexican supermarket, because if that was the only thing I was rating this could get like 4 – 5 stars, but the actual food is a no no. However, 2 stars is what it gets for the following problems:
I was expecting so much more from such a beautiful store. The food was actually really not that good. The burrito I got had too much rice and not really flavor, and the flavor that it did have made me not able to eat the other half of it. They have no classics either, so you can’t just order a normal black bean burrito because they don’t really sell that.
The service here is also pretty aloof and not really welcoming. I sort of felt laughed at when I walked in and ordered a burrito, and not in a good way. The people at the bar sort of expect you to understand all of their strange concoctions.
It’s really a shame that the food isn’t good, because the other part of this store, as in all the awesome Mexican products, is really cool. They have hot sauces, and cool candy, beers, cooking supplies, I could go on. That part is cool.
In a great area, but I think that if you’re looking for some good Mexican food, you may be better off somewhere else.

The food was okay. I expected a burrito as good as the ones from Cali but it was mediocre. I had the super carne since people suggested on Unilocal.It tastes healthy so I give it 2 stars. Service could be friendlier. Would not recommend this place.

Teicawey es una tienda de productos mexicanos para llevar, todo lo que he visto allí tenía muy buena pinta. Lástima que he entrado solo para comprar alguna bebida fría, si no seguro que probaría un burrito o alguna otra cosa, así que un día volveré para probar algo más de Teicawey!
Tanto la decoración, como la atención a cliente y selección de productos son de 5 estrellas. Y los zumos frescos que hemos comprado allí estaban muy muy ricos!

Me encantan las tacos del teicawey! Las megaburritos, enchiladas para llevar… Es una buena opción para cuando te encuentras con ganas de comer algo rapido, rico y sin horarios de cocina. Recomendable!

LOVE THE BURRITOS! About 8 Euros and up. My fav is the Super Carne. Food is delicious and the juices are freshly squeezed. They even have hot sauces for you to try and add to your order. I love Mexican and Tex Mex. They are friendly and can speak English which is always a plus if your Spanish is a little rusty like mine. I haven’t found a better burrito place yet.

Este local, como su nombre lo indica, se basa en el servicio de comida para llevar, con opción de platos preparados en el refrigerador o preparados al momento. Tienen el mejor burrito que se puede probar en BCN (con un precio excelente), y también se pueden comprar diferentes productos mexicanos, para cocinar o picar.
He probado 4 burritos: el mejor es el Mérida (lo preparan con cochinita pibil), seguido por el cubano y después el supercarnes; también probé el carne asada, pero no me gustó nada.
Las opciones de postres son buenísimas. Lo que más me ha gustado son las chocolate chips cookies y cinnamon rolls caseras.
Las bebidas acompañan muy bien a la comida, frías y calientes. Tienen cervezas mexicanas (la negra modelo es la mejor) y aguas con sabores.
Se ha convertido en uno de mis lugares favoritos para comer.

Es un lugar pequeño y encantador donde te puedes comer unos deliciosos (y grandes) burritos por tan sólo 8 euros. Los ingredientes son de muy buena calidad y siempre están frescos.
Además venden un montón de productos como salsas picantes, guacamole, ensaladas, postres, zumos naturales que están muy bien.
Mis burritos preferidos son supercanes y san pastor. Está en mi top de restaurantes en Gracia 6:

Loved the food — € 8 for the mixture of 4 tacos. There is a range of take away food as well (like guacamole, nachos, brownies) which is handy.
The place is a little small, better designed for a take away joint as the name suggests. There are only two main tables available, each seating two.
Would def be back, well prices, friendly, and delicious food :)

Hier ist man beseelt vom Glauben an den perfekten Burrito, wovon ein liebevoll gestalteter Schrein zeugt, der den hungrigen Besucher gleich beim Eintreten begrüßt.
Die Burritos gibt es in 10 Sorten, nicht nur «for Teicawey» sondern auch «for stey».

After a few days filled with tapas and patatas bravas myself and himself, on holidays in BCN, fancied something a bit different. So, Tacos!
The place was a surprise, being a shop filled with Mexican food imports as well as a burrito bar. I ordered the selection of four tacos for 8 euros, each distinctive, fresh and tasty. Zingy citrus, orange and lime and moist meat with a variety of salsas. Himself went for a burrito which he deemed also to be very tasty and unlike any we’ve had in Dublin or elsewhere.
There’s not really anywhere to sit, bar a few seats at the window, but if you found yourself there on a warm night you could get a take away and head up to the Placa de la Virreina and sit outside the church watching the life of Gracia go by.
Definitely recommended, but if you want a sit down meal, best to head elsewhere.

«Teicawey», ouh ouh le jeu de mot ! Voilà, c’est exactement ce qu’on est venus chercher en ce samedi midi ensoleillé: de la bonne nourriture mexicaine à emporter et nous n’avons pas été déçus. La boutique/​restaurant fait des burritos, quesadillas, tacos etc à la demande et a aussi un coin libre-​service avec des plats préparés sur place très alléchants: salade césar, enchiladas, pâtes au chili, etc. Il y a aussi une épicerie avec des produits mexicains, américains ou mexicaméricains on né sait plus trop.
Les burritos coûtent 8,25 € et sont ultra copieux. Service rapide et sympa, bref, bonne adresse authentique, à mille lieux du sous-​vide Old el Paso ;-)

Man. I *wish* I would have found this place sooner. I’ve been in Barcelona for four months and unfortunately only found this place with a week to go! Anyway, this definitely checks the box for awesome food at a good price. I’ve been there twice now to get burritos, and each one I’ve had (the Supercarnes and the Cubano I think) has been very good.
For the Americans out there, if you want a Chipotle comparison, I would say that the burritos here are unquestionably better, and taste more natural and have more flavor.
As another reviewer commented, the hot sauce selection is really good as well. In Spain, it’s very difficult to find *actual* hot sauce so it was nice that this place had an assortment of them.
Anyway, if you are here long term or even just swinging by Gracia for the day and hungry, I’d say it warrants a visit.

Cuando un sitio te hace sentir bien solo entrar, ya merece una estrella, otra mas por hacer todo ellos, otra mas por ser delicioso, la 4 por llevarlo a casa y la ultima por la increible relacion calidad-​precio

This place is super cute. The guy working there was really nice and patient with us and our indecision. And the burritos we chose (iirc it was called ceasar) were so good. I highly recommend it.

Awesome place. And here’s the thing: it’s awesome even by New World standards, not the «I’m so desperate for Mexicali/​TexMex/​Mexican (however you want to call it) anything with spice will taste good at this point». I’ve been there. I know.
No. I just had a truly great burrito, the Supercarnes, and a bite of another great which I will go back for, the San Pastor. For about 8 euros a pop, you get a huge burrito with all the salsa you want, including a perfectly done guacamole. Most of their salsas seem to be imported, but they are good. The shop is fun as well and full of goodies. Here’s a new one: wooden Teicawey silverware.
In the end I had a 30 minute burrito high followed by a 15 minute nap.

Very good Burritos! Note, they are very large, we both took half home for later. The Cubano was a favorite! Everything seemed very fresh and they have various takeaway items as well. They also had a good selection of hot sauces to put on your food if you were eating in. Overall very satisfying!

Fresh, healthy food. Tons of choices for ordering, on the menu or off. The owner and staff are welcoming and friendly. This is my go-​to place for something healthy but yummy to take on the long plane ride home to the States. Veggie-​friendly, too.

El domingo por la noche mi novio y yo fuimos a Teicawey y nos pedimos una torta ahogada. El servicio muy lento porque solo había un chico trabajando, y más con la música de fondo de Norah Jones ya era Zen total. La torta venía con una salsa de tomate con chili que vi al chico calentándolo. Creemos que fue la salsa que no nos sentó bien, porque tanto mi novio como yo nos pasamos toda la noche e incluso el día siguiente haciendo viajes al lavabo (lo que diría, «una buena orquestra sinfónica»). Que nos haya pasado a los dos no es casualidad. Y estamos muy acostumbrados a comer picante (somos coreanos y el picante es nuestro pan de cada día).

The Tacos are good value for money — delicious black beans and fluffy rice.

Bueno vale, lo del nombre «Teicawey» es original, inolvidable y efectivo… Pero vamos, ni que hubieran inventado la sopa de ajo.
La primera vez que fui, tenía un hambre que daba calambre, y como no quería arrojarme a los tacos, burritos y platos japoneses elaborados (sí… tienen un poco de todo, esta gente), pues me agencié con un trozo de pastel de chocolate blanco y zanahoria.
El trozo era más bien finito, digamos del tamaño de una porción de cumpleaños cuando te das cuenta de que hay más invitados que tarta.
Los chicos que regentan el (muy bonito por dentro) lugar, fueron muy amables y con esa misma chispa vital me pidieron 4,50 € por la «rodaja» de pastel.
Momento de sudoraciones y demonios internos… «POR QUÉEEE???», me preguntaba yo, mientras veía mi pastel perfectamente envuelto y listo para «teicawey»… Bueno, los solté sin pensarlo mucho más y la verdad es que estaba bastante rico, pero a la próxima que quiera gastarme el patrimonio en un caprichín, me iré agorrear merienda a casa de algún colega.

No lleva en Barcelona ni dos meses, y ya están siendo un éxito y es que todo esta buenísimo!!!
Hacen un juego de palabras con el nombre y lo que significa en realidad el concepto del bar, que mola mucho. Es un sitio de «Take away» aunque también puedes comértelo allí dentro. Aunque es recomendable saber que sólo hay un par de taburetes y una mini barra. El lugar es de comida mejicana, de buena calidad y a un precio algo elevado, (aunque esto ya se sabe que va un poco en compensación de lo lleno que esta tu bolsillo). La historia es que a mi me parece caro que te chuflen por un taco, una sincronizada y una sopa de tortilla, 18 pavos. Pero vamos cada quien… que cuestione. Lo que es cierto es que te comes unos tacos verdaderamente mejicanos. También puedes comprar ingredientes para hacer comida en casa y una selección de 12 salsas picosas diferentes!!!

Original propuesta la del Teicawey. En verdad es como una tienda de comida para llevar (de ahí el nombre), pero también tienen unos taburetes por si quieres degustar allí sus sabrosos productos. Yo aconsejo tomar allí los desayunos: un delicioso Pan de Muertos acompañado por un Frapuccino de Café, por ejemplo. Si está enganchado a tu Ipod y resulta que te has quedado sin batería, no problem! en Teicawey tienen un cargador por si las moscas… Si directamente has olvidado el Ipod en casa, tranquilo, tienen uno disponible para uso y disfrute de la clientela, con unos auriculares que no están nada mal. Otra de las ideas interesantes de este acogedor local son sus Daily Bentos, platos a los que les falta darle el toquecito final, así al comerlos parecen justo recién hechos… ¡Esta variedad me encanta! Aunque también existe la opción de llevarte la comida lista para servir; en ambos casos el resultado es inmejorable.
Desde mi punto de vista, hay pocas propuestas que combinen tantas cosas como la de estos chicos: comida mexicana para llevar, tanto dulce como salada, algún que otro plato japonés o indio y todo a muy buen precio. Y si no te apetece salir de casa, ellos te lo llevan. ¡Completito, completito!

No está mal. No ha conseguido quitarme el gusanillo de volver a probar el genuino sabor de México (en ninguna parte hacen comida mexicana como en el país de orígen), pero almenos contiene detalles que denotan vocación de autenticidad: queso de Oaxaca, cuitlacoche, esquites… Por otra parte, me desconcierta un poco comprabar que al mismo tiempo es una especie de cafetería trendy donde sirven frappuccinos de vainilla, pastel de zanahoria y bagels. Un detalle que termina de quitarle el carácter auténtico que echo de menos.
En cualquier caso, la comida está razonablemente buena y su plateamiento de «para llevar» te saca de un apuro si andas con prisas por Gràcia. Además, cuentan con una interesante selección de tequilas que, a juzgar por el precio, sí que deben ser muy genuinos. Lástima que en el apartado del mezcal sólo tengan «Gusano Rojo».
