View of Alhambra, need I say more? The food was also delicious, yummy appetizer and good quality steak. The dessert plate was incredible, with a mix of different decadent and delicious pastries and chocolate wonders. The view was so spectacular that it dominated all the other wonderful aspects of this venue. Not to miss, if you slip around back, it doesn’t have the beautiful view, but is still an incredibly scenic venue for tapas. On a nice alley backing up to a historic church. Recommend to go early, have a drink there before proceeding up to dinner with the stunning view.

Food was great and the view of the Alhambra was perfect. Pricey but worth it! Use of fresh flowers was magnificent!

Absolutely beautiful views in the outdoor seating(we made a reservation in advance) and the food is amazing as well! We had two seafood dishes that were cooked to perfection. It was our best meal in Granada.

Dined here in September 2014 with friends. The ambience and view are great. The food was excellent. The wait staff were attentive. Would rank 5 stars were not for the unfriendly young lady at the reception.

Restaurante Eatrellas de San Nicolas, one of the best meal I have had in Spain. Amazing view, delicious food, attentive service, family ambience, everything you could ask for an elegant, relaxing, while delicate meal. Ambience: Definitely come early or make a reservation to get the best view. They have three floors — the window seat on both second and third floor are amazing. You get to see Alhambra palace, general life, and the city view all in once, accompanied with gorgeous Granada sunset. Food: Menu Set — 31 euro for an appetizer, entrée, dessert, and coffee & tea accompanied. Entrée choice includes cod, duck confit or oxtail stew. The steamed cod with cream coconut sauce was amazing! It’s not the type of «melt in your mouth» but very unique flavor and texture. Appetizer has a variety of choice such as soup, salad, etc. I tried fried vegetable(my guess is eggplant) with honey, looks like French fries but tastes happiness. Dessert would be crème brûlée, crêpe or ice-cream. Good quality as well. Service: They all speak really good English and the English menu is really clear. People are smiling and seems super happy when you finish the plate(which is my case ^^). Super good bread as well! Tip: 1. Sangria is strong here! 2. Treat your loved ones, or just yourself here after touring Granada. It will give your day the most beautiful end.

If they say ‘it’ll be a few minutes’, just sit down and order a drink, you might be there awhile. There’s amazing views on the terrace on the 3rd floor which over looks the Alahambra Palace all lit up and gorgeous at night. simply gorgous. the food was great too! The BESTDUCKCONFITEVER. It was on the cheapo menu for 31 but wasn’t on the main menu. and boy oh boy was it amazing. it was like cotton candy on the tongue, just melted.(image of homer simpson drooling here)

This restaurant has it ALL ! Décor, delicious food with variety and imagination. Ambiance with live guitarist playing softly in the corner. Very professional waitstaff and chef. The view of The Alhambra at night is breathtaking. Definitely reserve a table on the terrace. A great vacation memory.

Hands-down…hand-the-fuck-down…the best resto in Grenada. Great service, über-redic views of the mountains and La Alhambra castle(peep my pics) and the best OXTAIL meal, ever. After a 4 mile tour in La Alhambra palace/castle/gardens, you’re gonna need a dope meal. Come here. Come. Here.

4.5 stars This was one of the best meals we had on our trip to Spain. Not only was the food fantastic, but the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. ATMOSPHERE: This restaurant is situated in probably the best location in Granada. Being at the top of San Nicolas viewpoint naturally gives this restaurant some spectacular views. If you’re lucky to get a spot on the terrace on the third floor, you will see not only amazing views of the Alhambra, but the entire city and surrounding area of Granada. But, there are only a few tables on the third floor terrace, so you either need to get to the restaurant as soon as it opens(8pm) or make reservations. We were lucky to make last minute reservations the day of and got a table on the terrace. Midway through our meal, a guitar player even came out to play some music, which added a really nice ambiance. FOOD: Everyone’s dinner was excellent. My oxtail was cooked to perfection. It was so tender and tasted great with the potatoes. My husband’s cod was also cooked perfectly and had a really tasty sauce. Even the bread was awesome. I couldn’t stop eating it. We ordered the chocolate crepes and profiterole for dessert The crepes were pretty good, but the profiteroles could have been a bit crispier. Overall, I think our dinner was better than dessert. SERVICE: The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. They speak pretty good English too, so if you have any questions about the menu, they are more than happy to explain it to you. They even offered to call a cab for us at the end of our meal. Las Estrellas was a bit pricey, but absolutely worth every penny… or I guess I should say euro.

This was my favorite restaurant in Granada. It’s on the pricey side but it’s so worth it for the excellent views of the Alhambra and Granada. I highly recommend if you’re in the area. Definitely come around sunset and ask for a table overlooking the city. One of my coworkers recommended this restaurant and we called for a reservation only about 3 days prior — I wasn’t optimistic about getting a table but we got managed to get a reservation right at 8pm(we were here in the spring). A VERYIMPORTANTTIP: DONOTATTEMPTTOHIKEUPTOTHERESTAURANT! There are lots of windy, narrow roads, and buses and cars barely squeeze through – if you’re walking, you’ll probably get lost, even if you have a map. We took a bus up, which was a really interesting experience. The driver is an expert at navigating the road and it really showed — we got SO close to certain buildings at such a high speed going up winding roads that I literally saw walls of buildings right up to my face. We asked him to let us know when we were near the restaurant and he was really friendly and gave us a shout when we were approaching the stop. Beware though, if you come near sunset, the buses will completely fill with tour groups(who will probably get off before you do, so they can stake a spot elsewhere to watch the sunset). I think the driver really hated tour groups because he looked really annoyed with the tourists that got on as a huge group but was still friendly to us(just three gals, dressed up for dinner). Remember how I thought I made a reservation for 8pm? Well, my Spanish sucks, so there was some confusion when we arrived — I couldn’t find my name on the reservation list, but there was an «A Pim» for a table of 3 at 8pm! I guess I kept repeating 8pm even when he was asking my name, so he thought I was«A Pim!» It was hilarious! But alright, you had to be there to find it funny. They laughed it off and seated us on a balcony area overlooking the city, even though I had forgotten to ask for it. Their service was absolutely wonderful. As for the food: I got the french onion soup, which was just okay, with the codfish, which was completely delicious. For dessert, I had the chocolate crepes, which were good but not especially memorable. We managed to stay for 3 hours with that amazing view, eating and drinking, and we never felt rushed. The views are very breathtaking and if you look down you can see lots of other restaurants and areas where people are gathered to watch the sunset as well. Someone was playing the guitar below and it added to the amazing ambiance. There were lots of couples on the balcony with us; we were probably the only trio of friends so it’s a perfect place for a romantic dinner – we certainly thought ours was romantic! ;)
