I definitely do not recommend this hotel. My room stinks of cigarettes, the furniture is in horrible shape, and the parking lot is unsafe. Forget about clean towels. On the plus side, they have free wifi and an old but useable fridge and microwave in the room. Complementary breakfast is offered, nothing fancy, but its something. There are a few restaurants that are within walking distance of the hotel. The path there is a bit sketchy — I wouldn’t recommend it after dark. I don’t stay in Days Inn chain hotels often, but I can’t imagine this is the normal quality you should expect. I haven’t stayed in a hotel this scary in over twenty years.

Very good manager. They really helped us out during the snow storm. We happened to take a room on the night when we got stuck in the snow storm and the staff really helped us out. They made sure we were comfortable and made our stay pleasant. Very affordable. Clean place too.

I booked this room and was so happy to leave out of it. The room needs some serious updating. It was not what I expected. Will never go again. There were 2 flies zooming around. The TV was ancient. Everything looked from 1980s

If you grew up with cockroaches like I did, you will be okay at this place — but you will not enjoy your stay. I attach photos of those details to give you an idea of what you can expect to see. Photos cannot relate the smell or the nocturnal noises. Here is my word picture: Smell — Imagine the aroma of a dumpster full of old rugs in back of a seedy cat house. Noise — doors slamming, laughter of retarded adolescents at all hours of the night, people walking around on your ceiling, the ice machine making ice, night creatures scooping out ice, cars driving into the parking lot, shutting off the engine and slamming of doors followed by cars starting up, slamming doors and ame car driving away at high speed. If you are writing a crime novel, this place is a good source for the chapter where you describe the scene of the murder.

AVOID! There are two sorts of customers who need a room in Aberdeen, MD – 1. parents with kids in the local Ripken baseball complex(or people in one-time local events like a wedding) and 2. weary travelers taking a break from a long drive on I-95 or forced to stay local for business. This place offers dirty, cramped, no-frills rooms that feature ancient, inefficient and extremely noisy air conditioning units, blankets with holes, a tiny outdoor pool and slow service. You get what you pay for and this is as close to the bottom of the no-frill barrel as you can get. Our room was super hot the first night we arrived because the management turned the AC unit off and it took hours to get the room to a comfortable temperature. The pillows are lumpy and uncomfortable, The entire motel has just two roll-away beds. The beds in the rooms are old. The breakfast consists mostly of standard empty-carb cereal/muffin/toast/bagels. The location(close to 95, the Ripken complex and next door to the Greene Turtle sports bar) and the price are among the very few positive factors. If you are a tired traveler looking for a last-minute place to sleep and shower and can sleep through a noisy AC unit, this may work for you. For the rest of us, this place should be avoided. Much nicer and cleaner hotels are located nearby. You just need to call the other, nicer, cleaner places ahead of time — because many people booked for this Days Inn will immediately try to get booked at another place once they look at their room. It appears most of the places nearby sell out when the Ripken complex hosts a tournament.

Check in took 20 minutes longer than needed because they messed up our reservation. Rooms had stains on the blankets, floor was a bit damp from condensation from AC, microwave had a weird white stain, bed was damp as well, AC was very loud at night. The next day when we came back from a wedding, the room key did not work for the room and had the be reswiped to let us into our room. But the breakfast provided wasn’t too bad.

DON’T WASTEYOURMONEY! THISPLACEISTERRIBLE! The customer service at this place is the worst! I purchased a room on my iPhone en route using their website, and only after the payment had gone through did it show that I had purchased a room in the Days Inn in Aberdeen, MARYLAND as opposed to Aberdeen, WASHINGTON. This would be MY mistake IF it actually had shown before I paid. I immediately called the Maryland Days Inn and asked if I could either transfer the reservation to their Washington location, or if I could get a refund. THEYREFUSED, and simply relied on their«No cancellations after 4pm» rule instead of trying to help me find a room at their other location. Well, stopped here for1 night… cheap and you get what you pay for. Our first room was no AC and smelled like someone had spent a week locked in and chain-smoking. Turned down the bed covers and there was CRUMBS/DIRT in the bed and hairs like the linens had never been changed. OMG… We were then moved to the room down the hall – no cigarette smell and bed looked better but we slept under our own blankets. How can a hotel not change the linens? we should have just left but it was late.
