This is a great little comics and gaming store. You can find all kinds of pop culture related merchandise as well as comics, roleplaying supplies and card games. If they don’t have something you’re looking for, just ask. They can probably order it for you. The friendliness of the employees sets this store apart from many other stores. You’ll never be talked down to or embarrassed for your hobby preferences as all types are welcomed here. Perhaps the only downside is the size of the store. It’s on the small side, and with so much merchandise it only feels smaller. If you like to slowly peruse while shopping though, the small size can actually make this more enjoyable as you pick through shelves and cases.

This store is super conveniently located in Aberdeen in the shopping plaza next to Mars. The sign is a bit small, so most people don’t see it unless they know it’s there. The staff has always been super friendly to me, and they host products for a selection of local crafters, which differentiates them from other stores in the area. They have a surprisingly decent selection of board games for a store of their size, as well as a ton of nerd paraphernalia(pop vinyl figures anybody?), and a small play room in the back if you want to paint minis, or play some games with your friends.

Tucked away in a strip mall in the hotel section of Aberdeen, near 95 is this small comic book store. It boasts the usual number of comics and a small selection of games and a small game room in the back. I entered the store, and I guess the employee working at the time was too busy playing cards to greet me, or ask if I needed help finding anything. I was never acknowledged the entire time I spent in the store, nor was told about any events or products. I have also seen posts online from either employees or volunteers bashing conservatives. I will not give a business that insults me and makes me feel uncomfortable my patronage.

I moved up here in October looking for a comic shop. I was very lucky to find XpandingUnviverse! They are my go to for subscriptions and they are more than happy to look for custom orders or obscure issues for me. The awesome people that work there are also stoked to help me find an issue based on a writer, or a lose description of what I am looking for. They have a game room in the back and also a lot of table top stuff as well. I like looking at the warhammer guys but I have no idea how to play that stuff. It looks crazy. They also sell stuff for those insane card games that baffle me as well. Either way that place is pretty nifty.
