Stopped in this morning to grab a couple of breakfast tacos. Fuzzy’s never disappoints. — The breakfast tacos are fantastic. They did not skimp on the filling on the made to order tacos. You need to make sure you ask for the salsa, it is tasty and has just enough of a kick to make it very enjoyable.

Yummy tacos! had many fun nights out on the back patio with friends, If you want something a little different with some actual flavor you should check them out.

What can I say… I’m a sucker for fuzzy tacos. I absolutely love their shrimp tacos. The taco combos they have creaked are awesome. We drove an hour and a half on a random Saturday just to get our fix. Their patio is nice and the restaurant fits quite a few people as well. We never leave fuzzy dissatisfied.

I decided to give this place another try, I haven’t been here in 8 months because the place went downhill as far as cleanliness, taste of food, speed of service. I came back today because other Fuzzy’s places are great. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and chips with Queso. The food was made in a timely manner; however it was a tasteless bunch of garbage. The food had zero taste and was the equivalent of chicken I cook for my dog. The place had an odor of sour dish cloths and vinegar. The area to get your own drinks was grimy and dirty, the tea servers were out of tea, and the drink dispenser looked dirty. The cooks behind the counter had beards and mustaches that were not covered. The place is not like other Fuzzy Taco shops found in the Dallas area. Can’t give any stars to this place. It won’t let me give it –5 stars

Just tried fuzzys for the first time, and wow this establishment is not for me. Brought my family along(don’t do this) not much of a family environment, it’s more of a college/21+ crowd. With that said couldn’t hear our number and our food was cold(invest into some digital numbers on the wall). And now the food, we had the beef nachos and I also ordered a potato egg and bacon taco. The beef was more like taco bell slop meat to say the least and the taco taste like some kind of frozen breakfast taco mix you’d buy in the frozen section at Walmart along with the store bought tortilla. Also the customer service from the cooks counter if you’d call it that was horrible, they were rude when I brought up the fact that the food was cold. Will not return, but do hope they can improve some things.

SEAFOODALLERGY. I actually didn’t even get to eat here. Went in and ask if they fried their chips in the same grease as the fried shrimp and they said yes. I can’t have any food fried with seafood or will become sick. So if you want to eat anything fried just know it will taste like shrimp. Even your chips and salsa. Maybe they will change their kitchen policy and I can eat the chips and salsa.

Sorry folks, I just didn’t think the taco at Fuzzy’s Taco was very good. Kind of dry without much pop. Refried beans could have been from a can. It was crowded but we found a seat.

Fuzzy’s is always a great choice especially in Abilene because everything else closes at 9. The staff is a young and friendly bunch. Great atmosphere to watch games and fights. I recommend the shredded chicken nachos, it is great to share, because trust me… You cannot finish it all!

I sat at the bar for a good ten minutes without the bartender acknowledging me. The bar tender(whose name I later found out is Mary) went and cut oranges for a while before even coming up to me. I eventually had to try and get her attention. She looked very annoyed by me asking for a drink. As a customer, it made me feel very awkward and I left after one drink. I planned on staying and watching one of the football games.

Found my new favorite go to lunch! Their not the neatest but they taste great! Their outside seating has h2o misters to combat the heat. The flavors are consistent and delicious! Speedy service is a bonus!

I was pretty excited to try Fuzzy’s when it came to Abilene. I had heard a lot of good things and the décor inside and out promised a fun experience. I’ve spent a lot of time in California, where fish tacos are an essential part of everyday life. I hadn’t been able to find any decent fish tacos in Abilene so I was hoping Fuzzy’s would put that craving to bed. It didn’t happen. If Fuzzy’s is Texas’ answer to Wahoos, then it needs to consider trying again to form a better response. The fish tacos here are no good. The fish didn’t have much flavor, the tortillas were nothing special and the rice and beans tasted like they were heated in a microwave. But while Abilene didn’t get a great fish taco joint, we did get a great new place to hang out. The bar is decent, the beer is cold, and there are frequent drink specials. Some of the food is awesome. Let me tell you what I like. the chips and salsa and queso are all wonderful. It seems to logically follow that the nachos might be stellar, and not surprisingly, they don’t disappoint! So it’s great for beer and small items you can share with your friends, but I need to point something else out: Fuzzy’s is open for breakfast! Believe it or not, it’s pretty good! They have some pretty killer chilaquiles. They’re served with beans and a side of flour tortillas, making this a wonderfully huge meal to start your day with. I didn’t love the fish tacos, but I can’t say anything else bad about the place. It does some things very well and others, just decent enough. Thats all you can expect from most restaurants when it comes down to it.

Love the food… HATE the parking. They need to move to a more open location. Don’t care for the atmosphere either. The tables are too close together. It’s like eating in a warehouse but the warehouse wasn’t completed and so they crammed it into a bathroom.

We’ve always had a great experience here — until recently. Last week we were here and I ordered grilled fish tacos but received shrimp tacos. Not a big deal, I went ahead and ate them and they tasted ok, but shrimp allergies can be deadly. Not a good mistake to make. My order was also wrong today so that’s twice the last two times we’ve been here that they’ve screwed up. Today, the cilantro-lime rice was extremely under-cooked(we’re talking crunchy and hurts your teeth to eat) so when an employee came by our table and asked if everything was ok, we let him know. His response — «Sorry, I’m not the one cooking it.» SERIOUSLY? How about letting them know in the kitchen??? I really hope the kid isn’t in some sort of management role. In fact, I hope he isn’t working the front of the restaurant anymore. We may eat here another time or two because the food is good(when you get the right order), but if it keeps going down hill, we won’t be back. Management was great when it first opened. Hopefully they get back on track soon.

This location was DIRTY, the last two times I visited. Especially the outside patio. So sad because if managed well, it could be a favorite spot in town. They were also out of the breakfast sandwich. Poor management.

Sunday Funda at fuzzys. What a good choice for me and the lady. Inexpensive and such a beautiful day to sit on the patio. We drank bloody mary, margaritas and beers for 3 hours and each round only cost us 10 dollars. Chips and salsa was good to snack on with a nice kick to the salsa. Had basketball playoffs and baseball on the tvs so that was a plus as well. Probably one of the coolest places to go relax at on a Sunday especially with the nice weather coming around. Strongly recommend it and next I will try some food and let everyone know.

Got quesadillas to go… opened box to a greasy ball of tortilla and shit… they promised shredded beef and delivered ground. I’d rather eat my own foot than fuzzy’s again

After talking to the locals, I found this place. I was most impressed because the portions you get here are huge! I ordered the taco plate with spicy pork tacos. I was a little nervous because I didn’t think it would fill me up. I was more than happy with the quality of the food and the portion size. My colleges ordered the nachos and they were so big that they could have shared them with everyone else. One tip is, if you order the nachos, you need to eat them fast or they will go soggy. The service was great and the place was very clean. One of my favorite things was the hot sauce that added a nice flavor or sweet, savory without being to powerful.

What a difference a few miles make. After a disappointing time in Buffalo Gap, we stopped in to Fuzzy’s for a bite. The place was hopping, but the line moved along at a steady pace. My husband picked up the wrong tray, but the young man at the counter was very gracious about it. The fish taco was very good and the lettuce was crisp. Thanks Fuzzy’s I needed this left.

I can’t figure out what all the hype is about?! I rated Fuzzy’s at 2 stars just because I think what others had told me make me expect better… or I would have given it 1 star. Our food came out cold… that’s a HUGE no-no to me, this is a restaurant and I’m coming in to eat… food should be warm or hot. I ordered 2 taco combo with mex beans and rice. Shrimp taco literally had 4 tiny shrimp on it, very disappointing. The chicken taco was so-so proportion wise but didn’t have much flavor. IMO, the refried beans tasted like the taco bell beans you can buy at the grocery store, straight from a can. The mex rice had pea’s in it, I can’t knock them for that much, everyone has their own recipes… I just didn’t expect it. Waited near 30 mins for our number to be called and grab our food… Maybe that’s why it was cold? Prices seem pretty stout for quality and quantity of food. Overall, I wasn’t impressed at all. I won’t be back…
