Bushmill Tavern is the best! The food is well beyond what you would expect from a tavern, it’s 5 star! Bre is one of the best barkeeps that I have ever encountered! The owner gets to know his regulars by name. Come for lunch, dinner, or just drinks… you will not be disappointed!

Stopped in the day after the snow storm when most places were closed. Needed a convenient place off of 95 to watch football. Had a great experience. Lots of tvs. Great burgers and fries. Thoughtful wait-staff despite the craziness of the storm. Just wished I lived closer to be able to go more often.

Had the Phillly burger. WOW! What a darn good burger! I almost couldn’t finish it. Their burgers are the best in the area. Hands down. Great owners who actullay come out and talk to the customers.

I went to Bushmill for lunch on a Friday afternoon at right about 12. The restaurant part was empty, but there were some regulars at the bar. I don’t think they appreciated non-regulars coming in because we got a pretty dirty look. It was really cold in the restaurant and the décor is less than fancy. I didn’t expect anything too great, but this place looks like a candidate for Restaurant: Impossible. I had heard that the burgers were great, but wanted something different so I tried the pit roasted turkey. It came on a a large bun with a decent side of fries. The problem was that the turkey was incredibly dry. I ended up asking the waitress for some BBQ sauce because I couldn’t swallow it. She asked if I wanted something else, but we had waited awhile for the food in the first place, so I just did what I could. I mostly ate the fries which were salty but tasty. My bill was $ 9.01 after tax and a glass of water. My friend had the ahi tuna tacos. At first they were great, but then she got a piece of fish that had that distinct«fishy» flavor when its a little beyond fresh. It made her weary of eating any more of it. Finally, it looked like the owners were having a pretty in depth business meeting right out on the dining room floor. They were by the bathroom so anyone that went that direction had to walk by them. I bet this place would probably be fun on a Sat night for a trip to the bar, but definitely not for their dining room menu. Stick to the beer.

Recently dined at Bushmill for the very first time. It was a little after lunch and a little before dinner so it wasn’t too crazy. It has the feel and look of a divey bar which includes a stage for live music. there’s some good food here… THEGOOD… –lots of parking in lot –service was attentive, pleasant and welcoming –tables and menu were clean –pretty good daily specials –lobster mac and cheese was very good… large portion! –smoked cheddar cream of crab soup was really good… highly recommend that! –onion rings were ok –liked the way the lettuce cut for the Caesar salad(shred-like) THEBAD… –although it was minimal, was upcharged for a small side of wing sauce for the onion rings… server never mentioned it would cost additional –lobster mac was good, but could have used a little more lobster mixed in –hot wing sauce wasn’t that good… wouldn’t get again –the onion rings could use a bit more seasoning in the batter… no idea if these are made in-house…didn’t taste like they were –lots of burger options, but no meat alternative such as a gardenburger or black bean burger Overall, my initial experience was pretty good. There’s definitely a local feel. I’d never go here during peak times so lunch worked out well. I’d try something else next time to see what else is good. The crab soup is a definite!

It’s town favorites but not in my book. The patty was so thick and the taste just was lost in the bison or burger patty. Fries are good. The crowd was energetic especially on Raven’s play.

This is just the old longshots with a facelift. The restaurant tries lure you in with a very descriptive and delicious menu. However, they fail to actually follow through on any of it. I ordered a bowl of the smoked cheddar crab soup. The serving size was beyond small. It was probably the same size of a cup places into a bowl. The taste was misleading as well. To best describe this dish would be sysco brand cheese soup with a dash of liquid smoke and three small clumps of crab meat and 4 fried tater tots. At $ 7 this is a complete rip off. I followed that with the bison popper burger. Once again on the menu it sounded delicious but failed in execution. The burger itself was huge. I order med but came out well. With bison this is a problem, because it was dry and rubbery. Also the menu stated that it is topped with crispy poblano peppers. In actually it was three frozen jalapeño poppers. Lastly they must toast their rolls but my roll came out sopping in grease on the top which I had to dab off with napkin before eating. On top of the misleading menu, the service is something to be desired. Our server was too busy talking and joking with other servers to pay attention to us or any issues with our meals. We actually had to wait 20 mins to get the check and that was after asking another table to let her know we needed her. I would really love this place if they just followed through with what they are trying to market, slightly up scale bar food. With several tweaks they could get there. This customer is very disappointed and will not be coming back anytime soon

The food here is amazing. I just had some awesome chix&asiago ravioli while drinking a cheap can of beer. I can’t believe how well those two things go together ‼.

I went to the Bushmill Tavern for lunch because I was craving a burger. I am so excited that I chose this place because Oh-Em-Gee! Yes! To start off I went at around 1145 am and there were a lot of bikers there getting ready to ride and just hanging out… It made me nostalgic of my childhood when I used to go to my Mom’s biker bar that she used to own. Anyways, on to the rest… A very homey bar/restaurant, tavern. The waitress was very nice and on top of her job! I believe it was the owner(nice gentleman in his biker vest) that came to my table to make sure I had a brunch menu(I think that’s pretty awesome!). I ended up ordering the mushroom and Swiss burger, medium, along with duck fat fries(yes!). The burger tasted amazing and was cooked just to order(medium). And the duck fat fries! Yes! Perfectly seasoned and cooked in fresh oil along with garlic aoli sauce. Probably the best duck fat fries that I’ve EVER had. I wish I would’ve taken a picture but I was so eager to dive in to my basket that it completely slipped my mind. I would definitely return to the Bushmill Tavern, day or night just for the food. I’m interested to see how the nightlife is, so be on the look out for an updated review :)

This is a great bar food place. If you’re here on a big tournament weekend, they’re not gonna have the personnel. Be patient. The food is great and servers are wonderful! Jason was the best! They just don’t have enough people to cover everything. Good grub by the hotels. Go Sons!!!

In the area for work and stayed close to the hotel with severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings and stumbled on this gem. Good tap beer and had a delicious blackened rockfish meal that totally surprised me. Will put this on the short list!

So this is actually my first review, but long time Unilocaler… This place is awesome, might have been the best burger I ever had, probably 20 different kinds. The only reason I took a star away is because after 9 on Fridays at least they have a band and it’s loud! At least in the dinning room and we had the furthest table from them couldn’t imagine being closer. P.s a guy named tiny who was a bit intimidating when walking in the door, ended up being a great guy, the made a mistake on my drink order and he brought me a new one on the house. Make sure to check them out, had there bomb burger so good!!!

Just moving to the state of Maryland we have looked for good local places to eat and this place is amazing! You would think you are getting«bar» food but the food you get is fine dining quality! This has turned into on of our favorite places to eat! When you see the prices you might think at first it’s overpriced for this place but once you get your food you realize that it was worth what you paid for it. We have always had great service as well! The bartenders definitely hook you up too!

I’ve been here once after having been warned away from it before it was renovated. I got their A Bomb burger, which is a cheeseburger between 2 grilled cheeses, topped with 2 bacon strips and some onion rings. Everything about this sandwich is phenomenal. The grilled cheeses are crisp, they use bread that is the right size for the burger. The burger was perfectly cooked to order(med rare in my case). Service was a bit slow, and they’d run out of a few beers(they were expecting their shipment today), but I’m willing to attribute that to growing pains, as this is(presumably), new management, new staff, and they’re getting a lot of positive press, so they’re probably not used to the amount of business they’re getting. Despite the fancy food(Duck fat fries people, they’re fancy and phenomenal, they might even be better than DuClaws), the interior is still definitely giving off a pub/bar vibe. You don’t dress up to come here, but you don’t have to settle for the normal pub fare. They actually do it better here.

Absolutely great food! Menu has the basic good pub fare and more. Burger choices galore. The daily specials keep us coming back. Just tried their beef tenderloin gyro and was amazed. Chef keeps it fresh and exciting. Kitchen crew always on point. Drink prices are VERY reasonable and one or both of the owners are always around. Lots of TV’s. Great bartenders! They did a good job updating the place!
