We stopped here for a late dinner after a traffic jam thwarted our plans to eat further down the road. Food was decent, price was good, and the waitress was accommodating. Later that night my 10-year-old got sick and vomited, saying something he ate hurt his stomach. Not sure if it’s from his hamburger at dinner or something earlier.

Cracker Barrel can be hit or miss, this visit we stopped for breakfast on the way home from the Lake. Service was good and friendly. I had Grandpas breakfast which had a few sides, a couple of eggs and chicken fried steak. Filling…

I took a Persian to a Cracker Barrel. You know this boy had a culture shock! He loved it though and that set the trend for our trip down to Tennessee. Southern food is what I wanted to give him the experience of and as expected — Cracker Barrel delivered. Our server rolled over with her larger than life flaming red hair and thick accident welcomed us and proudly announced that she had made the sweet tea just a few minutes earlier, and thought that would be a perfect starter for our breakfast. I begged to differ as I am not one who is huge on sweet tea. To be honest, no one in my family is really huge on it. My mom calls it liquid diabetes, and insists that half sweet and half unsweet is sooo much better. Meh, we got the sweet tea and after a few sips my fiancé was not sold on it either. It just wasn’t that good. I am not saying that there hasn’t been sweet tea I’ve enjoyed, but this was even too sweet for my own taste. For our breakfast — I ordered the egg beaters, turkey bacon, and a side of their seasonal fruit that came with pineapple, blueberries, and grapes. I was content. Sami ordered the whole damn menu. He got pancakes, sausage, fried ham, baked apples, bacon, eggs, grits, biscuits and gravy, and an orange juice. He finished everything. The only thing he did not like were the grits. After dumping salt and butter in it, he thought they were better. Of course… I’ve been coming to Cracker Barrel since I was a child, and still to the day there hasn’t been a time I haven’t enjoyed it.

Great food! Everything cooked to order-a surprise for 30 mins to close! Staff was friendly. My house salad was very fresh with crisp lettuce and the veggies were good as well. Downfall: turnip greens were a little salty and the hashbrown casserole was a little dry. Overall pretty decent meal at a great price. Service was excellent!

Good mac-n-cheese & their Ruben sandwich is pretty darn great! And their biscuits are also good. We were seated promptly and our waitress was super friendly. We didn’t have to wait long for our food(we were HUNGRY!). Prices are decent. For a chain restaurant, it’s a pretty good place overall.

I seemed to come across these when I’m not in California. The experience was fine, as my timing for a meal placed constraints on my choices and desire to support local businesses while on business travel. I had the chicken and dumplings. The quality had a large chain appeal. I did find the entrance a bit tricky to find from the freeway exit; so be on the lookout if this is your fancy. At least, I found it tricky to find since I wasn’t familiar with the area.

Been to one been to them all, which is good because you always get the same quality food and service each time. I would give this 4 stars, but the foodie in me won’t let me. Neat store as well, if you’ve never been to a Cracker Barrel you should go.

Its cracker barrel in the south. Never been to a bad one, this one is always crowded, but quick to find you a table and good service. Food is traditional Cracker Barrel. Enjoy.

Having got into town about 11, I decided to have lunch at Cracker Barrel. I was promptly seated and my server was there quickly. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with macaroni & cheese, applesauce, and CB’s famous hash brown casserole. Order was there with minimal wait. Ample portions of everything. Server was attentive and polite. Very positive experience.

By far the worse service I have ever received at Cracker Barrel. Waitress forgot we were there, went out for a smoke… never came back. Didn’t get refills or asked if we wanted anything else. Waitress comes back and starts to cry about how she didn’t want to lose her job and this that and the other. I was on a 10 hr drive and didn’t have time for this! Food was ok… Luke Warm… I love Cracker Barrel… but this was just not up to the usual standard.

Really busy at lunch time! Service was fairly fast given how busy they were. We were out in about 40 minutes from start to finish.

Has decent food that is prepared very quickly. Nice country-style setting with kerosene lamps and a little, but overpriced, trinket store in the front. However, it’s always crowded, all the time. It’s so crowded that they make you stand in front of everyone to guilt them into leaving(they call it «staging») so when they tell you your table is ready, it really isn’t. Overall, decent but nothing special.
