Best Chinese Carryout in Harford County. They are Fast. The food is quality and a lot of it. The owners and staff are the friendliest and make you feel like family. Location is great! Located in same shopping center of Home Goods and DSW. Been getting Chinese food here since 1995

My first time here. I ordered a small chicken fried rice. The first thing that I ask is does it come with white meat. I was prepared to hear her say«yes but that will be $ 2 extra». What she said was«yes», no extra charge. That answer alone is worth 3 stars for a carryout. The rice was not greasy. Onion was a little larger than I’m used too. But I didn’t mind it. White meat chicken, egg, peas. The usual stuff. The rice was not bland. The flavor lingered long after I finished it. I give the chicken fried rice 5 stars. I’ll be back for something else soon. I’ll re post a review then.

Good place! It’s quick and the food is always hot and fresh. They will also make things that aren’t on the menu like General Tao shrimp, which happens to be my husbands favorite. Their lo mein is wonderful pork and veggie never disappoint. Try the string beans to, they are great.

Not the best chinese food ever, but damned close! They lose one star for not having delivery, if they had delivery I would eat there at least once a week! The food is not overly garlicy and I haven’t been disappointed with anything I have eaten there.

I’ve been in Harford county for a number of years now, and ever since my move, I have yet to find my «default» Chinese restaurant. I’ve tried them all, but I was recently enamored with King’s. Their egg rolls are the best I’ve tried locally, and their chicken meals are the freshest and best tasting I’ve had in years. Let’s put it this way, I have eaten many a General Tso’s from locations abound, spending most of my time careful not to look at the chicken after I’ve taken a bite, totally terrified that I’d catch a glimpse of the grey-brown pseudomeat that I’m consuming and forcing myself into the self-deprecating thought that I’m continuing to eat something unidentifiable. This does not happen here. The chicken is white, fresh, and juicy, while still holding it’s batter and flavor without sacrifice. That being said, I have heard that their vegetable based dishes are phenomenal as well, but I have a hard time pulling myself from the chicken. Now I’ve gone and made myself hungry.

I recently switched over to King’s after Szechuan Express in Box Hill took a major decline in quality. I was disappointed to find out that Kings doesn’t deliver but the quality of the food and friendly staff make it worth driving to pick it up. Steamed dumplings and Fried Rice are my go-to menu items. If I don’t like these two things at a Chinese restaurant than odds are I won’t try anything else on the menu. Luckily King’s has great dumplings and rice. Everything else I’ve tried since then has been right on!

I’m from jersey so I’m a little bias. We’ve tried a bunch of places in harford and this place has the most flavor. With that said, it is still average. The lo mein is tasty but the fried rice has a weird taste to it… not what I’m used to.

I’ve lived in the Abingdon area for years. Kings is THE place for Chinese in Abingdon and Harford county. We moved out of the Abingdon area but we still go to Kings for Chinese! I have tried others in Harford county and none compare. Their food is fantastic and the portions are always large. I am such a foodie and always very critical although no complaints here! My husband loves the General Tso chicken and my favorite is the chicken broccoli. Their sauces are full of flavor. I also CRAVE the crab cheese wontons! I highly recommend Kings Chinese carryout!

Kings gets an A-OK… they’ve been my go to carryout for 13, almost 14 years now… I can count on one hand the times I’ve been disappointed in those 14 years. When I was 16, my best friend and I used to order from there several times a week while working across the street at Wally World. I have a lot of fond memories of their lo mein. which hasn’t changed in 14 years. It was my favorite then, it’s my favorite now. It’s not cheap but it’s not the most expensive, either. Average for taste and cost, above average for consistancy. Not quite 4 stars good. I’d say 3.5 does them justice. It’s the only chinese carryout in the area I’d give more than 1.5−2 stars to. Tonight, we ordered from there — a Thursday tradition to have Chinese food while we watch the Big Bang Theory since they always seem to be eating Chinese. The food was hot, delish, and filled our bellies with plenty of leftovers. For $ 10 a head(3 entrees and 3 apps) I consider that good dinner in the bag. Thanks Kings, for so many years of great service and I hope you live on to experience many more — so long as stupid Wegman’s stupid asian hotbar doesn’t put you out of business. You’ll always have our loyalty.

This is my first time ordering from Kings. My husband ordered the cashew chicken and it seemed dry. I ordered general tso’s chicken and I thought it was really dry also. The chicken was also kind of chewy in some of the bites. We also ordered egg rolls which were kind of tasteless. I have had better chinese food and thought this was similar to what I have had at buffets.

My wife and I have tried a number of their dishes, and they’re all overcooked and dry. Try Szechuan Express; it’s not far from King’s, and their food tastes better.

I have lived in Harford County for 5 years, and it took us a while to find a good chinese restaurant. For the last 4 of those years, my wife and I have been patrons of Szechuan Inn on Route 40. Their food is quite good(depending mostly on which cook is on duty.) Unfortunately, they’re closed for repairs and I really wanted Chinese food. I turned to Unilocal — an App I just found very recently. I did a search for Chinese Food and King’s Chinese Carryout popped up. I was skeptical, having tried several other chinese carryouts in the area but gave it a go anyway. King’s is NOW my favorite Chinese Food restaurant. The food we ordered today was EXCELLENT and very flavorful. They have a pretty robust menu although, unfortunately, they did not have Tomato Beef Chow Mein(it must be a California thing…) Unfortuntely for Szechuan Inn — I will likely not return. I’ll be patronizing King’s from today on!

I got pork lo mein and an order of teriyaki beef(on a stick). There are two different kinds of beef on a stick. There is the kind that looks kind of red, and the kind that the outside just looks like steak or something. I like the red kind, and this place has the other kind. No big deal, not their fault there are 2 different kinds and only one name, they were still pretty good. The pork lo mein wasn’t, bad, but wasn’t great. Big chunks of mushrooms, which I am not a big fan of, but I can just pick them out. Not great, not bad, just meh. O!!! And a $ 10 minimum for credit card payments. If you have less than $ 10 it is a $ 1 fee. This is a violation of their agreements with visa and mastercard, and a personal pet peeve.
