We were looking for a quaint, hometown café for breakfast on our way out of Lodi and the Lodi Airport Café was perfect. Our server Ashley was so attentive, friendly and her service was top notch. Couldn’t wait for a cup of tea for me and coffee for Mr. Bee. The café is located at the small Lodi airport and as we sat, we watched skydiver’s coming in for a landing and the plane taking a new group of skydiver’s up. The café was remodeled about 3 years ago and is spotlessly clean. From the corrugated steel roof which reminds you of sitting in a hanger with a few airplane themed decorations, this is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. We ordered the Focaccia Breakfast Sandwich. The Focaccia is made in house fresh daily and I can tell you, it is by far the best Focaccia I have ever had. It is so soft and melts in your mouth. The sandwich was filled with grilled ham, scrambled eggs, American cheese and we added fresh avocado with grilled onion and potatoes on the side. We both wish we didn’t share the sandwich and had our own, it was that amazing. Also on the menu for breakfast is French Toast, Pancakes, Apple Pancakes, Biscuits and Gravy, Oatmeal, Breakfast Burrito, and Omelets. The perfect American style breakfasts. You must go, but beware it gets pretty packed on weekends.

Had an amazing breakfast filled with fellowship, friends and food! This fabulous restaurant, Joann and her staff are is truly a hidden gem! Their genuine kindness, compassion and amazing food are a blessings! I had their fabulous toasted homemade Focaccia Sandwich. It was filled and perfectly layered grilled ham, fluffy scrumptious scrambled eggs, a slice of American cheese and perfectly roasted and seasoned potatoes on the side. This restaurant and their food has become one of my favorites but their humble servant loving staff have stolen my heart away! Joann’s home made desserts and focaccia bread are out of this world and usually sell out pretty fast I would recommend this place to everyone driving or flying through! Thank you and love you all!

A small café near Lodi skydiving. I was pleasantly surprised. Food is amazing. Go visit in the morning and get a scone or muffin. The strawberry scones are so good. Kids pancakes are shaped in airplanes. Staff is friendly and attentive. Absolutely no complaints. Will return again. The only take cash and checks. NOCREDITCARDS!

Could not be happier with my breakfast! I looked for a place with good reviews and settled on the Airport Café. I enjoyed watching the Skydivers come in for a landing as I was scarfing down a tasty omelet. The ingredients were fresh, the staff friendly and they suggested we try the fresh strawberry scones. So glad I did as they were yummy. The four of us shared one, ordered a second and took one home for my Lady’s daughter. Give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. We are big regulars as its a favorite not only for all of us adults but for my kids too. They BEG us to take them every week. The food is fantastic and never disappoints. My kids love being around all the airplanes and getting to watch not just the runway but all the skydivers come down, too.(Ok, we kind of love watching them too. It never gets old!) The staff is fantastic and have become like family to us, including the owners. Everyone is so warm and accommodating. Highly, highly recommend.

Came here years ago and glad we came back. Great food & service. Remodeled with industrial vibe. Better coffee than expected at a café. Get here before 11:30 on a Sunday. Cash &checks only.

I absolutely love this place. They have the best tuna melt I’ve ever! My family and I have come to eat lunch here about a dozen times now. I’ve tried most of the menu and everything has been excellent. The décor is a cool retro aviation hangar theme. The staff is super friendly and I love watching the skydivers and airplanes landing near by. The only downside is that they don’t take CC. Make sure to bring cash! Don’t hesitate to drop in. Lodi Airport Café is good to go!

This place is a must-try for anybody in or near Lodi. We stopped in for lunch yesterday afternoon at 1:40, and they graciously sat us and brought us wine glasses for the bottle of wine we brought in. We knew the restaurant closed at 2, so we quickly perused the menu and decided what to order. 2 of us had the chicken pesto sandwich, 1 had the chicken red pepper sandwich and 1 had the mushroom swiss burger. The sandwiches and garlic fries were incredible. Everything was prepared perfectly and came out piping hot. We also split a carrot cake cupcake with cream cheese frosting, which was incredible. The waitstaff was attentive and sweet, despite our arriving so close to closing time. Two other parties came in after us and they were also seated with a smile. I can’t wait to go back.

A quaint small place. I had french toast, it was OK, could have been crispier. Staff was very friendly. We were here for breakfast on a rainy Saturday morning. I imagine if you came on a nice day it was be better since you could watch the planes coming and going from the airport and the sky divers nearby. They only take cash or personal checks. Who uses personal checks anymore? Last time I did I had to rewind my VHS tape.

We were a party of 3 going for lunch and was told we’d have to wait for a small table in order to be seated… No problem. The café was not busy and off to the right there were 2 tables available; one which seated six. We ask if we could sit at either one of the empty tables and was told no because they might have a larger party come in. Not very friendly and staff didn’t seem to be in a great mood. So we left and don’t think I’ll return.

Service was a little slow & indifferent, but the kids’ breakfast menu is excellent: airplane & spaceship-shaped pancakes that are fluffy & delicious. I had eggs over medium,(not an easy feat) and they were PERFECT! This might be my new favorite breakfast place.

When looking for a place to eat along the 99 corridor near Lodi, it is slim pickings. I was concerned about eating at an airport café, but Unilocal reviews looked solid, so we tried it. What a fun little place. Clean and open and airy. Service was fine. Not really«friendly» but at least efficient. And talk about eating and entertainment… we could watch the sky divers landing while we ate. Very cool. We all split one of their salads which was very fresh and good, and we also split their chicken sandwich, which was also very good. Overall, a great, and surprising, place to come have lunch.

This little café is so good, great veggie sandwich on homemade bread with a huge portion of fries for lunch, portabella sandwich is really good, chicken sandwich is good. But where this restaurant really excels is dinner on Thurs and Friday. The foccicia with dipping oil is so tasty, the corn and tomato buschetta is the best I have ever had. Even the carafe of lemon water they put on the table is good. great wine selection. Dinner for two runs about $ 45 without wine but it is worth it. This café is not a Greasy Spoon, it is a perfect fit for the wine country.

When a real DC-3 advertises«Dine, Fly, Skydive» I know i have dining skills and will land to give it a try. A bustling place serving all three meals. The breakfast board with standard oatmeal, fruit, raisins, nuts and toast will fly me to the evening meal. Good service, outstanding ambiance. We will return.

This little gem of a restaurant is a must try for dinner, they also serve breakfast and lunch but I’ve not had either of those. Dinner here is only served on Thursday and Friday. This place makes the absolute best focaccia bread I’ve ever had! A must have if you go! The owner makes it herself. We came here with friends and family, and I was eager to try their food, as I’ve heard good things about their lunch and breakfast. We started with the Roasted Pear Salad, roasted pears and butternut squash, dates, crispy prosciutto, manchego and roasted pear vinaigrette. I ordered the salmon, with sautéed sugar snap peas, soba noodle salad, ginger soy Vinaigrette. Excellent, salmon dish! Very tasty with an interesting twist. The meal was ended with delicious desserts, a berry cobbler and an apple tort, both fresh and wonderful. An interesting view of the Lodi Airport as well.
