Not sure why they include tracking numbers on receipts. The information on the tracking website is rarely up-to-date, which very frustrating. I mailed a package to NJ on June 15(and it’s now June 22) and it still says Shrewsbury sorting. Since the package was supposed to be a surprise, I have delayed calling the recipient to see if it has arrived. The ETA was June 17!

This locale has to be the award winner for the rudest postal staff in the US. I’ll stick to using and dropping my packages that I’m sending out when in LA on business. I went to mail a package today and was carrying my 3 pound teacup Yorkie just picked up from the groomer around the corner & was told rudely(as is there usual interactions with people) «they can’t serve me as there’s clearly a sign on the door unless it’s a service animal that no animals are allowed.» Ok, so I must have missed that sign; this 3 pounder is all but sleeping in my hoodie… terrifying animal! The time she took telling me she couldn’t serve me I could’ve dropped my package off & been done. Nice. Power hungry individuals! It’s horrible though as they REFUSE to deliver packages to your home box; one has to pick up at the post office, so we get to interact with them frequently. Lazy, and rude staff. The postmaster generally is lurking behind the scenes, but has canned replies to any issue. They don’t deliver to one side of the street in Acton, while we have a perfectly nice box built into our stone walled drive on our side… but no, we had to put a free standing box on the opposite side(where it’s been hit twice!) & were firmly told«the mail truck doesn’t go down that other side.» Well, that’s odd, as I see it pass in front of our house going that direction EVERY day between 2:30 — 3:30. Liars, and rude. What a combo. The clerks are miserable EVERY time I go in there. It makes me wonder why they keep the job… must love that power that they have, LOL! We moved here 2 years ago from La Canada where the postal staff would run rings around this crew, but in lieu of having more acreage, we moved to Acton. The post office is the only negative business in the area. Sad.

Helpful and friendly. Wonderful small town feel. Seldom a line, but if there is, the conversation is interesting.

Helpful, courteous and they always go the extra mile. Never much of a line and they move you through quickly.

While the Postmaster is really nice and will take care of you, I can’t say the same for the employees. The older woman with glasses is so rude and lazy. I dread when I get stuck with her at the counter. If one thing isn’t filled out or taped correctly she will offer to sell you some tape or just tell you to come back. I actually go out of my way to use the Post office in santa clarita now and they will bend over backwards to help you and they actually smile! My advice, stay away from this place till they get rid of that obnoxious woman. Not to mention they don’t open till 10am… not very convenient.
