Acworth Fish Camp

Hello dive! Fantastic view, great food, reasonable price, awesome staff and pet friendly! Can’t beat it!

Love this place right on the water can drive the boat up, Ask for Taylor she is the best waitress I’ve had at any restaurant. Also the food and atmosphere makes for a great experience!

Guess we got lucky reading the other reviews. Came in at 7:30 on Sunday only one other table in resturant. Very peaceful and quiet with Mazing view of lake. Had corn nuggets and both of us had burgers. Fresh burgers NOT FROZEN soooo good! Can’t wait to come back and try some other stuff. Only had bottles beer no draft a pitcher would have been perfect the bottles added up quickly.

My boyfriend and I were in search of a place to for lunch after hiking and swimming at Lake Allatoona. We needed a restaurant with outdoor seating that allowed dogs on the patio. Unilocal pointed us to Acworth Fish Camp.
The huge back deck of this restaurant is the major selling point. It has a wonderful view of the lake and a marina. The service was wonderful. Our waitress was quick at taking our orders, and great about bringing us water and bringing (and refilling) a bowl of water for my boyfriend’s dog. We ordered the fried catfish, fries, a house salad, and the lemon pepper wings. The wings weren’t the best, but everything else was good. The fried catfish was my favorite. Their ranch dressing is a must try. It definitely tasted homemade.
I recommend this spot for lunch if you’re in the area. A heads up — don’t think you’re lost when you have to drive through a mobile home park to get here. You’re on the right track!

We live on the lake and go by boats with our neighborhood crowd every Thursday night weather permitting. We normally have 10 to 18 in our party. We enjoy the food and drink as we have fun with our group and seeing other regulars we know. It’s a great atmosphere. The service has most always been fine. Never a big problem. The food is good and the drinks are cold. Great times. We hate it when they close for winter. But it’s understandably a seasonal business location.

The food is good, the servers are good but the owner is a jerk. We arrived by 8:30 p.m. Had to clear our own table because they were so busy, It took 20 minutes for someone to come take our drink orders. We totally understood but after the last three guests in our party waited more that 20 minutes to be served… that was a little too much. When we approached the owner Robert to discuss the situation he said «Don’t come back» Wow, I could not believe his response. Two couples in our group were every week customers. Not anymore!

This place is about ambiance! On the lake. I would say the food is good. But you don’t come here for the food, you’re on the lake have a beer and relax!

Waited for a table 45 min. Sat down (2 adults & 3 kids) & waited another hour and 15 minutes for our food. The table that sat an hour after us had their food before us. Our food was only comped 50%. In addition, the unisex bathrooms were disgusting!!! Will never go back!

Yea, so if you are looking for a beer with a view on a sunny day and maybe a sandwich go ahead. Friendly service, decent food, music playing and the breeze off of the lake blowing make for a pleasant experience. I’ll be back and might try the wings or a burger. Give-‘em a try.
