What a rewarding experience to call Hammocks Heating & Air this morning for I was greeting by the friendly Katina who could not have been more professional, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and imbued with a sense of humor. She treated me like a person versus a customer. The technician was also welcoming. Their website is easy to navigate and visually engaging. Based on the reviews I read and my initial expereince, I highly recommend using Hammocks Heating & Air.

Great prices for new units and great service. They are always there as quick as possible and friendly. They service all three of our units. We have one unit that we had put in before we knew about Hammocks. It is in our attic. The company that installed it(rhymes with Beers) had no issues going up in our attic to install it, however when we needed our annual warranty covered service, they would not return my calls. When I finally did make contact they did not want to go up into my attic for safety reason. Hammocks services this unit for us along with the other unit that they installed and the older one that was already in the house. Great customer service and friendly; can’t beat that!

My husband and I are new to Atlanta. We just purchased a 1997 home and needed a professional maintenance and cleaning job done on the 17 year old HVAC units in the house. We hired Hammock’s to do the job, during which it was brought to our attention that the HVAC units were very dirty — the previous original owners of the house had not maintained the units. Thanks to how old and dirty(unhygienic really) the HVAC units were, we decided to have the old units replaced with new ones & we also decided to have all the ducts replaced. Hammock’s gave us a reasonable quote(as low or lower than any other HVAC company’s quote) and scheduled our major work immediately. We are VERYPLEASED with the quality of work they did. Any problems or issues we had, they resolved to our satisfaction immediately and without hesitation. True professionals!!! We liked their HVAC work so much that we had them install a new high efficiency Water Heater in our basement as well. We would HIGHLY recommend Hammock’s AC to anyone. We thank them for their good work and excellent service!!!

I can’t say enough great things about these guys! They were very prompt, they knew what the issue was and did not try to upsell us and quoted us a very fair rate to fix our A/C. They even made sure our A/C was cool enough before they fixed it the next day, that is not something many companies would make the effort to take care of. We were very pleased and would easily recommend them to everyone!

I called Hammocks to get my air charged. I had a coupon and checked the BBB for their rating, which was an A+, so I trusted they would be ok for the job. There were no reviews on Unilocal,but I was hopeful. When I called for an appointment I was given one the next day. My window was from 8 – 12. I called at 11:30 to make sure we were on the schedule. The man who answered the phone said our tech was 45 minutes out. In 45 minutes, the tech called and said he was about 45 minutes away. The tech arrived around 1:00. My husband was planning a half day off of work for this but ended up having to take a whole day. The tech told us we have a leak, which we kind of figured since we have to charge our unit every summer. He quoted us over $ 1000 for a replacement coil to fix the leak. We decided to just get our unit charged. We had a coupon for $ 88 for up to 3 lbs of freon. The tech charged us $ 173. Apparently there is an $ 89 service call that we were not told about. We tried to call the office to complain but they didn’t care. The tech ended up leaving about 2:30. If you use this company, beware of hidden charges and plan to take off a whole day’s work. They did get our air working. I will give them credit for that.
