I recently ate at The Barn. Food was excellent. Friendly Staff! I would highly recommend this place.

Very quaint, cozy place! I’ve visited on multiple occasions, and the breakfast never fails to disappoint. The service might not be the fastest, but it’s understandable considering how busy it gets. I would absolutely return, but before the rush.

The address is kinda confusing. It is officially in Rhode Island, but it is at the line of Westport, MA. Now, this place get’s SUPER crowded on the weekend! OMG… I couldn’t believe it. So,(as a tourist to this neck of the wood’s)…I had to take a peak and have breakfast. It was homey, quaint and the servers were all like high school/college folks and were serious about their jobs… so they did an EXCELLENT job. Folks of various ethnic backgrounds.(So, pleasing to my eyesite). I have to say, the folks were awesome and the pancakes, eggs, bacon were all done the way I asked. Afterwards, I walked around…(dangerously…no side walks) and found the Von Trapp family business and learned about that… sound of music thing. What a wonderful place!

Six gun on a bun end of story. A little pushy on the coffee but I love coffee so this is a positive. I just drank a lot of coffee sorry I’m jittery.

Quite simply an amazing breakfast, the portions are nicely sized, the food delicious and the service excellent. There’s almost always a queue which is a testimony to the quality, but in the hot sun there’s no shady waiting area so being patient is a challenge! It’s worth it though!

Went to the barn on a Friday morning. Very busy. Waited very very very long to be seated. Wasn’t crazy about the food or service. I know the server was trying because it was busy but I wasn’t impressed. I didn’t even get coffee til 15 minutes after finally being sat, and seating was long based on one server being on. Might return might not.

We went on a busy Sunday morning in August. We were seated right away as there were only two people in our party. I understand that they were busy so I am not taking off stars for slow service. We were seated in the loft with a clear view of the kitchen and the restroom below. There were several cooks int he kitchen, none of whom wore gloves. The coffee was served lukewarm with plastic single serve creamers on the table. I ordered a waffle and sausage. The waffle was dry and the sausage tasted like the boiled ones served at a continental hotel breakfast buffet. Patrons lined up outside the only bathroom to wait for the 5 teenage girls«working» to decide which one was going to bring more toilet paper and paper towels. My husband had an orange juice and sausage and biscuits which came with half cooked home fries. Our bill came to $ 40 with tip — no alcohol and no refill on the orange juice. The place is not air conditioned which was ok for us, but may not be for others. If you’re looking for a good quality breakfast in a clean and efficient environment then skip this place.

We come here all the time. So, we’re probably partial. Though, it’s such a great atmosphere, amazing food. Family run, family friendly. Specials every week, quick to fill up your coffee, reasonable prices. Best to get there early, unless you do not mind waiting. There are high chairs and booster seats for kids, crayons, staff remember your name. They have an upstairs and outside. Outside, you want to get a spot that has shade, on a hot day.

Just a word of caution. Bring your wallet! Egg dishes over ten bucks seem outrageous to me. Had to send back pancakes because the underside was burnt(Didn’t think we’d notice?). Staff is great and friendly but the prices are too much!

This place has the cutest atmosphere. I went this morning, it was very busy. I like how the waitresses walk around asking people if they need refills on coffee or water constantly. I had the waffle with rhubarb and an egg over easy. Delicious! Even though they were busy, the servers were super nice and didn’t forget anything. Kudos to you! I’ll definitely be back. Looked like they had plenty of seating outside as well. I just cannot get over the beautiful ambiance. It’s a splendid place to sit and enjoy breakfast and coffee.

The food selection is varied and complete. I had the hash and it seemed like the hash came out of a can instead of home made(my preference). The eggs were done just wright. My wife had an omelette with home fries which she said was delicious they home fries were tastes. They have plenty of outside seating and it was clean. The service was great and always ensuring your coffee cup is full.

My meal was awesome! The service as good. When we came in we were lost and did not know where to enter the barn. The host did find us and helped us find a table on a busy Sunday. I will be back to try more of the menu!

The best food around. I would highly recommend the home fries, they’re the best I’ve ever had. The plain buttermilk pancakes are always a solid choice. The servers are also so sweet. They are always quick with a suggestion if you’re unsure about what to get. I come to the barn every weekend at least once, usually twice. This is my favorite breakfast in all of Rhode Island.

I drove over 80 miles to go to this place. They have some of the best sausage gravy and biscuits in all of New England. Beautiful drive, beautiful area and a cool barn atmosphere. A great delight for breakfast!

Got the egg sardou(sar-doo) and my poached eggs were a tad bit over done not that I minded but service was great and on point. Love this place! Will be coming back tomorrow morning before heading back to the city scape.

What a treat! This is a lovely little local spot with absolutely delicious food and fantastic service. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for weekend brunch. It’s classic local fare with a delightfully subtle gourmet upgrade. It’s unpretentious quite simply put, yummy. And also perfect for any foodies looking for for a tasty treat.

Breakfast was pricey and there was no charge for the hair that was wrapped around my home fries. The older waitress pulled it out and threw it on the floor. Then said she uses hairspray and everyone in the kitchen has short hair. Not even an apology. The breakfast was greasy and had poor quality ingredients. Won’t be going back.

Service was good, quick and prompt. Food was delish, although I’d have liked more lobster on my eggs Benedict. Food was not as hot as I would have liked. I ordered a Bloody Mary and while it was tasty, the glass was about 75% ice. For 8.00 that’s a bit on the skimpy size. I’ll be back, but I won’t run back, and I won’t order a drink again. I’d give it more stars when the portions are more generous.
