I got my nails done at Laura last week with a very large group. We had appointments and they were ready for us as soon as we got there. They moved us through quickly and efficiently and no one spent an obscene amount of time waiting around which was great. Additionally, we had several young children with us and they were more than accommodating and let them have the run of the shop to play while the group got their nails done. As for the service Laura is your typical nail salon in the suburbs. It is affordable and you get what you paid for. They did a quality job and my manicure lasted about a week. It is a no non sense type of place that will get you in and out.

This place is cool. Although Laura recently sold this place and now it belongs to new owners(the salon is soon to be renamed), this salon kept the same friendly atmosphere with new editions and some minor updates.

Laura nails is under new ownership! They are pleasant and sweet. They know the trends and how to do them. They speak English! My pet-peeve is when I can’t explain what I want because they don’t understand! My pedicure was wonderful. My full set with no chip over it was fantastic! They care about their work and don’t just rush you out. I was there until close and two women came in and ask for fills and they did it. They did not send them away. And not for one second was I worried about cleanliness very clean and knowledgeable. Prices are great service is great. My go to spot now.

Addison has a few nail salons that have been around for a while – Laura nails is definitely one of the newer kids on the block. I’m all for giving new businesses a try so that’s how I ended up here versus my usual nail salon. Needless to say, I will not be coming back. There was only one other customer there late one afternoon(that should have been a warning). The place is brightly lit, you’d think it would be a happy place, unfortunately, the service was so bland and cursory. I just wanted a pedicure. I’m very picky about my pedicures and I hate it when the tech cuts the nails deep down each side of the cuticles, so I’m always on the watch. Despite asking the tech to NOT cut down the sides, she still proceeded to do so and I had to stop her each time. I was ready to walk out, sudsy feet and all. I decided to give her a chance and stayed. She did a good job with the rest of the pedicure – scrub and massage. Then came time for the polish. One of the techs came in to take over the polish application as my tech was needed to do an eyebrow wax for another customer. Now here is where my one star comes in. I was willing to give this place a chance, but when the tech takes over to polish and DOESNOTWASHHERHANDS beforehand, I sat up and let my voice be heard. I asked her to please wash her hands and she asked me «why?». I told her I didn’t know what she was doing beforehand and more importantly, «isn’t that your policy?». She begrudgingly went to the sink and washed her hands and did a good job painting my nails, but I’m sure I am not going to be their favorite customer. Well, they have nothing to worry about as I will not be returning. Guess I know why their prices are so cheap. ICK.

This place is your typical local Asian nails salon. The place is attach to a small strip mall, it’s a clean place with bright color walls. They have a flat screen TV to watch as well. Laura and her staff are friendly and I did notice if you had issues with their work the day after, you can come in and they will fix it at no cost. There’s a lot of regulars that come here too. A typical french pedicure is about $ 30 bucks, they also do permanent eyebrows too. I get my eyebrows waxed for $ 8, groomed, trimmed and plucked… they take their time. Their manicures are OK, nothing out of the ordinary. What I love about this place is that they do a great job of pedicures. I’ve always had issues with my ingrown toe nails and this place is able to remove them for me:) Laura and another girl does them so make sure when you sign in that you need to tell them that you want those removed. There’s a special technique not every pedicurist can do for you so you need to request. I’ve tried other local salons for my pedi, but no one does a better job than Laura Nails!
