Food was all good. Wife said it was the best Greek salad she has ever had. A little pricey for what it is but still good

I tried this place out for the first time today and was not disappointed by any means. The beef and lamb gyro was delicious and prepared right in front of me, as the grill and food preparation area are in full view of the restaurant’s. The pita was overflowing with tender, flavorful meat, and the tzatziki and vegetable toppings were very fresh. Upon mentioning that I was a first-time patron while checking out, I was even given a free éclair desert that was also very good. Overall, Great food, friendly staff, and very nice interior. I just wish the restaurant itself wasn’t so tucked away and more people would be able to discover such a great place!

So a few weeks ago I got a menu from here that was mailed to me and I looked through it and wanted to try it out. My bf visited me last weekend and I said that we should try this place out and OMG this place is delicious. We both got the beef shrawma and I got the Greek fries. They’ve got other stuff of course but the food was so good. Even my bf loved it. They cook the food in front of you and the prices are really good. This place did not disappoint. I’m def coming back to this place whenever I can.

I had a good chicken shawarma plate from Oh My Pita: Chicken Shawarma with 2 sides(falafel and greek salad — that look exactly like the side of tomatoes, onions, and lettuce that also came on the plate). It’s not like Zaytunes, but offers some differences from the normal Elmhurst/Addison flavors that I have come to know; can only have so much Chicken, rice, and/or greek potatoes. What stood out was the multiple meats they have on the rotisseries.

Ordered the beef shawarma and Greek fries and they were both excellent! Plus the order took about half the time they said. Excellent!

Came here twice, fist time was really hard to find if you’re not familiar with the area. Nice staff and clean even though they mixed up my order. Not a big deal but rather than making me a new gyro they opened it up, picked the ingredients out that I didnt want into the garbage can, then wrapped it back up again. Gyros are good but both times felt they were too tiny with barely any sauce and was charged for additional. Not worth the drive for me. If you’re close then it’s fine but order 2 if you’re really hungry. I live near a place that makes them way more generous so I won’t be going back.

When I rate a place I go off cleanliness, quality of food and staff/owner. My review is 5 stars on all of those!!! I had the chicken Schawarma it was delicious/flavorful and with white meat! That doesn’t happen often and the owner is awesome he came out and introduced himself to us. It was a great experience will definitely be back… Probably tomorrow hahaha

This place had not been open too long so when driving by it, I felt it was my duty to check it out. The location is among factory and warehouses on Fullerton Ave. I am hoping that they will be successful here because the location does not have the best visibility since the location is kind of like an oasis in a desert. Could be a tough go. Anyway, on to the food. Ordered a Gyros and a Chicken Shawarma sandwich to go. I talked about the place with the fellow who was making the sandwiches about the business and how they were doing, the biz, the location, blah, blah, blah. The sandwiches themselves were very good. Fresh ingredients and they were not skimpy on them either. The place is nicely decorated and very clean inside. Service was friendly and efficient. Give them a try. Cheers to All

Jimmy and his staff do a great job and offer fresh food. The lemon rice soup is also very good. Stop by and bring your friends.

It’s been a really long time since I’ve left a 2 star review — but, I have to be honest, no matter how much I dislike leaving a few stars… In this case — pictures appear deceiving… I’ve been wanting to try Oh My Pita for some time since they recently opened… It’s a new spot in the area, located near the industrial section of town and not really easy to find. In fact, its super easy to miss. There isn’t large signage and its located right next to Mexico 2000(in a connected bldg.) off of Fullerton… They specialize in Gyros, Shawarmas and Greek sides… A mix of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern… Walking in, there is ample room to eat-in with many tables & even a flat screen. You can instantly see the various Spits behind the counter and everything is prepared in front of you behind the glass… Place is cute and looked brand spanking new & spotless… Owner was friendly and engaging… I wanted to try a few things. They offer a few types of Gyros meat: regular, Chicken & Pork. Shawarma: Beef & Chicken. I went with the Beef Shawarma plate(comes w/2 sides). I’ve had Shawarma at various Middle Eastern restaurants and always enjoyed it. Sides: Greek French fries(thin cut fries topped with feta & oregano and slice of lemon) and Falafel. Plus gyros… Friend had the Gyros plate, side of potato salad and falafel. Ordered a side of Hummus also. I asked for tahini and tzatziki on the side… 4 cut pieces of pita were included w/my hummus. All plates came with one fresh pita. Meat portion was generous. . I dove into my beef Shawarma first… First bite — very tender, flavor & marinade was different, not like anything I’ve tasted in the past. Meat texture was off-putting — odd texture. Second bite was a mouthful of very fatty and tough meat — total opposite of first bite. I discretely put a napkin over my mouth and disposed of it. And that’s pretty much how the *bites* went… I either had a forkful of oddly textured tender meat — OR fatty, tough, inedible meat. I couldn’t eat another bite. I was done. The Fat Lady sang… The Falafel presented itself as such, but texturally dense and uninspired in flavor. Hummus tasted just like Tahini to me… no lemon or garlic to be found… The Greek fries were ok… crispy w/feta. Tzatziki was very thin. Moving on to the Gyro… pretty good, not bad — let’s just say it SAVED the meal. My friend thought the Gyro was ok. Said the potato salad was bland. I had him taste my Shawarma and said it left a strange taste in his mouth — he agreed, the quality of the meat was more than inferior. This place closes at 6pm. Had they still been open, I would have brought my shawarma back — it was simply unacceptable. The last thing I’d want to see is a local business owner struggling… I can only hope some improvements will be made in the near future… I’ll stick with Stav’s gyros in the meantime..

After coming here twice I decided it’s time to leave a review. The beef shawarma is seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of veggies and tahini sauce. The Greek fries are fresh cut fries cooked golden brown, lightly crispy, and topped with a generous amount of feta and oregano, served with a lemon wedge. I got a second one cuz I like extra lemon. The Greek salad is big served with any veggies you want. I had mine topped with gyros which is probably the best gyros meat I’ve ever had. It’s also served it with a pita, so even better you can make a sandwich with your salad. Remember to order a side of tzatziki sauce if you go that route. The falafel sandwich is a must try. It’s not your typical falafel but it’s to die for. If you live in the area they also deliver.
