Our office building recently added a delivery service and I chose the option of ordering lunch from Salata yesterday. Within less than 30 minutes of eating, I became severely ill and had severe diarrhea all day and long into the night. Will not be ordering from this establishment again, ever.

I can’t say enough about this place. If it was walking distance to my apartment I would literally eat here every single night. Always fresh, plenty of choices of salad toppings, dressings, etc. You can ask for multiple scoops of something if one scoop just won’t do, and they have the calories listed so you can add up what you’re getting if that’s important to you. I am not really sure about a couple of reviews that said the salad was tasteless. Perhaps these are folks who douse everything in salt?

Good food, a bit pricey but barely worth it. The ordering process can be lengthy but the workers were helpful and are quick to provide samples if you want to taste. The place was empty which is why it was comfortbale to eat in there but I can imagine it can be quite noisy during rush hour.

Keeping it short and simple! Salad was surprisingly good, but I was not impressed with their salmon.

We love this place and eat over there few times a week, the food is fresh and the salad bar is super clean! I just love the fact they have a millions choices of veggies and you can build your own salad by taste!

Love the freshness of the salads but they really need to staff up for lunch rush. 3 people on serving line and 30 people waiting to be served.

Salata, you have make me love salad. First, I am not that big of salad person. I always think that why on earth would you spend 10 dollars on some veggie when you can get meat. But now salata have change me the view of Salad. I wish I would know about this place earlier. So this place is like a chipotle for Salad you pick out your own toppings and sauce. Then they will toss the salad for you. Most of their sauce are all really good. But my personal favorite is Herb vinaigrette and balsamic vinaigrette. This place definitely become my favorite place for salad. Highly recommend if you want something that’s light and taste good.

I can’t believe I just found out about this place like a month ago. I got like my entire family hooked to salata now! Great selection and everything is always so fresh. The one thing I love is how everything is labeled and also states the calories of the item. The Salad dressing choices are wide and flavorful. I had the soups there and all are hardy and yum! Also very friendly and helpful customer service for first timers.

Excellent quality produce and value. A «regular» salad with protein makes 2 meals for me — only $ 12! Delicious dressings and emphasis is placed on nutrion, not just allergy free recipes. My one gripe? The employees like to chit chat with regulars to the point that they hold up the line — which is out the door at lunch time. Regardless, I’ll be back. And I am BEGGING for one to open up in OKC. The salad alternatives here are abysmal.

Just no. Not impressed. I got one of the most expensive, tasteless salads here. The one thing that was good was the chicken. It had a good texture but was covered in sauce. For $ 13 I expected a lot better from a fast food place.

What a great find! The employees were so kind and patient, and encouraged me to sample different dressings before making a decision. The veggies were fresh, and the protein selection was fantastic. The only thing that is keeping this place from 5 stars is the dressing selection. The only two low calorie dressings(sun dried tomato and mango) are not something I would enjoy on my salad. I eventually just indulged and went with chipotle ranch(which was delicious), but I wish there were a few more lower calorie options. Great place for lunch!

The healthier version of Chipotle but if you drench your bowl with salad dressing and cheese it can go south real quick. I love this place cause it has over fifty different toppings! I started my customized salad bowl with spring mix and loaded up on carrots, mushrooms, red onion, cilantro, bleu cheese, chicken, and topped it with honey mustard. Probably not the healthiest salad bowl but everything was fresh BUT they did skimp out on the chicken. Overall the salad was good and more filling than I expected. As I said earlier, topping selection is endless at Salata so I’m sure you can put something together that you will enjoy. Great quality for a decent price Will be coming back when I’m craving a salad!

Was in the mood for something light and saw this place. Unilocaled it and the reviews were all positive and although we had heard about it we’ve never tried one. Well glad we did! So good! So fresh! So clean! With great customer service! The house vinaigrette is to die for! Fresh herb vinaigrette! The best! Greens of all kinds! Fresh toppings everything you can think of! So many varieties of chicken. Try the pesto! I can eat here every day! Salata you guys rock!

Not any organic options, pastured meats, local but I’m reviewing taste so… tons of stuff to add to your salad at no additional cost… many dressing options… All the veggies looked fresh… Tastes fresh(except for bitter cucumber) but although they should have tasted it beforehand… It’s not their fault… We have all purchased them before… So… fresh, and whether it’s tasty really is in your hands based on what you choose(are you a good chef or a bad one?!) The regular size was more than enough…

The great thing about salata is the wide ride of toppings you can add to your salad. They’ve got the classics but also ones like beets, jicama, alfalfa sprouts, mandarin oranges… any type of salad you’re in the mood to make, they’ve got it! The struggle I find with«build your own» meals is that sometimes I crave a bunch of toppings that don’t go well together(like asian barbecue chicken probably isn’t the best meat to mix with feta cheese.) so make sure you select a bunch of toppings that satisfy a particular taste palate. Otherwise, mixing as many toppings as you can fit into one bowl may end up tasting less-than-satisfactory as an overall salad. And sadly, you only have yourself to blame when you ARE the chef by creating your own salad/salad wrap. On a side note, their tomato basil soup is incredible! It deserves a lot more recognition, and with two sizes to order, I recommend pairing a small salad with a cup of soup for a satisfying and filling meal, especially during the cooler months!

All my salad eating Unilocalers, check out Salata. The concept is pretty much chipotle but in salad form. You get to choose your greens(spring mix, kale, spinach, etc) and all the toppings your heart desires. Adding meat/seafood is an additional 3 dollars on top of your salad. Salatas is for sure added to my frequent lunch spots. Get the chipotle ranch, it’s creamy and got a little bit of heat :-)

Interesting idea, create your own salad from a ton of different ingredients. It’s kind of like a salad bar, but they make it for you. Besides the great protein selections including shrimp and tasty looking chicken, I think what makes Salata, or any other salad restaurant, different than a salad bar is that they mix up your salad with the dressing for you instead of you dropping a dollop of dressing in the center of a salad and ending up with one section of soggy greens. Don’t you just hate that? I wasn’t prepared to figure out what to put in my own salad. I was hoping they had a menu of salads to choose from(like Snappy Salads) with the option to create your own. If you end up with a nasty salad, it’s all your own fault since you choose the ingredients. And I ended up with a nasty tasting salad. I urge you to check out the meat selections before you decide what to put in your salad. I got so excited with all the veggie options, then I got really excited when I saw the shrimp, then I ended up with shrimp in a salad with veggies that didn’t go. That’s why I would rather them have some menu options for salad. I don’t want all that responsibility of figuring out what goes with what. If I did, I would have made a salad at home. Overall, it’s a nifty idea, but go easy on the toppings unless you want a nasty rainbow of flavors. If you know exactly what to put in the perfect salad… well, good for you Fancypants! I’ll need another trial.

Every now and then, my inner carnivore steps aside. And when it does, I know where I’m headed for the freshest salads I’ve enjoyed in a good long time. Salata offers freshly chopped produce with salad toppings to suit any taste. My favorite combo is the Salata blend(Spring mix, Romaine & cabbage) with fresh Kale.(If you’ve never tried Kale, you’re missing out!!) Once your leafy greens are in the bowl, you move along the assembly line as Salata’s friendly staff adds the ingredients you love. They also offer chicken and seafood — the pesto chicken is delicious. Top it off with one of their fresh dressings and a professional toss and you’ve got a salad meal fit for royalty. For the gluten free diner they can make a salad for you, too. Salata has several locations in the Metroplex; this one happens to be within an easy drive of my office. I have a feeling my inner carnivore will be stepping aside much more regularly in the future!

After spending most of the past year on the road eating out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a quick glance at the mirror reminded me that I need to balance myself out with something a tad healthier. Seeing so much Unilocal love for this place, I had to give it a shot. Salata’s assembly-line layout makes my IT engineer soul happy. Logical, and ever so efficient, you start with lettuce, spinach, kale, or arugula and move your way through corn, snow peas, celery, carrots, nuts, beans, and just about every option you could imagine would belong on a salad. Finally, with the options of myriad different styles of chicken, baked salmon, or shrimp, your salad moves into some real next-level flavor. Finish it off with croutons, pita chips, or a quarter-avocado before moving on to the register. About the only things that I didn’t like here were the non-salad items. The broccoli soup was decidedly sour, and when I complained about it, I was told it was made fresh every day and it was left as such. Also, the chipotle bread tasted fairly stale, even after being toasted, so you may want to skip that as well. I look forward to being back next time I’m in Dallas. I can see why Unilocal is in love with this place.

Time to change what you think. No great story started with someone eating a salad, that is not true anymore. Salata change the way what you think .Eat Salata Salads or Wraps to Cut Calories and Increase Satisfaction. They have an unlimited selection of great toppings, a variety of fresh lettuces, a large selection of fresh veggies, fruits and nuts as well as cheeses. It starts with a choice of four kinds of greens, followed by a head-spinning 48 toppings. All tossed with one of delicious signature dressings, for one set price. A wonderful variety of chicken, avocados and seafood items may be added to salad creation for an additional charge. I love Salata, they are made with some good interests.“Eat good, look good, feel good”
