Wonderful, fast food for foodies, it definitely is, but it’s even healthy, gluten free and low calorie, high in fiber and lots of added veggies. I spend less here than if I ate out all 3 meals, which I normally do. I love the convenience and getting tasty, nutritious food all day long. I stock up every other day with enough for 2 days, costs between $ 40 – 50. Love the goat cheese tofu scramble!

I received a promotional $ 10 certificate in the mail, so I went in to check it out. They have a good variety of prepared take-out meals that are pretty healthy. They even have options for special diets(vegetarian, gluten-free, paleo, etc). All of the special diet options are also marked as such, so it takes the guess-work out of selecting a meal if you have special dietary needs. They also offer a variety of sizes(small, medium, large). This place is a great option if you want a healthy meal, but maybe you forgot to go grocery shopping or didn’t have time to meal-prep. The meals taste great, and only take a minute or two in the microwave. In addition to meals, they have desserts, beverages, and also some yogurt. The location is great, and it’s a cool place. Definitely sign up for their rewards program(it’s free to sign up). Everything is also reasonably priced!

In a nutshell: food was healthy and delicious with options for portion sizes. Prices were reasonable and customer service was fantastic! GO! I was staying in a hotel across the street for a month long business trip and I am delighted to have happened upon this establishment. Snap Kitchen provides a fresh reasonably priced way to eat well and healthy whether you are away from home or not. The customer service was fantastic and the employees were very knowledgeable and friendly. They were there to answer any questions or make recommendations without being overbearing. Sign up for the rewards program!

I bought my lunch everyday this week from Snap Kitchen, beltline location, and OMG… delicious! I’ve tried several places similar to Snap but was not impressed with the food. Everything I purchased was seasoned well and fresh! I especially like the different portion options(sm, med, lg) and the variety of options for meals. I highly recommend!

I got a free $ 20 promotional card in the mail, so I headed over to Snap Kitchen to check it out. This place is essentially a refrigerated wall of already prepared healthy meals. There are a lot of options to choose from, for any time of the day(including breakfast). I picked up a large turkey chili, a small meatball and peppers and a small cauliflower side. Not a lot of food for $ 20, but you’re paying for the healthier ingredients and the convenience of not having to cook it. Yes, I could get much more at the grocery store, but that would take a lot more time and energy. I’m not a fan of the microwave, so I took my food home and heated it in the oven. The meatballs and peppers was spicy! Everything was pretty good overall. If you’re not feeling like the grocery store hustle and bustle, this is a nice option to have. It beats fast food any day!

A lot of paleo, dairy free and gluten-free options here! Great concept, real ingredients. The banana pancakes make a great breakfast, the chicken fajitas are delicious as a lunch option. If you have a sweet tooth but want to keep it healthy-ish you must try the chocolate brownie(gluten free, dairy free).

I am a fan of snap kitchen. This place is similar to a My Fit Foods kind of place where you buy the food cold and then you heat it up in a microwave. The food options are healthy and the size portions are great too. I get the small portion & it is always enough for me, but I do eat the homemade strawberry applesauce or something small right before the meal. There are instructions on every meal you pick that will tell you exactly how to prepare the meal. For example, most of them will tell you to loosen the lid and heat, for example, between 1:10 — 1:20 seconds. For breakfast I really enjoy the Banana Pancakes(230 calories for $ 5.49). They are so delicious that I could probably eat them everyday and be happy. I eat them with the Housemade Chicken and Sausage Eggstack(220 calories for $ 6.49) because since the Pancakes have more fat, I likes to balance the meal out. I can eat all the pancakes, but can only finish half of the Eggstack and so I always have some extra for breakfast the next day. I would have to say the Fettucine & Vegetable«Alfredo»(290 calories for $ 6.99) is my favorite lunch meal. The strawberry applesauce(70 calories for $ 2.99) is one of my favorites too and is great for a snack. Another good snack for when you are on the go is the Caveman Quickies — Antioxidant Blend(230 calories for $ 2.99). The Bison Quinoa Hash(320 calories for $ 8.49) is supposed to be one of their most popular items, but it personally isn’t my favorite. Even though it tasted ok, it smelled funky when I heated it up and the smell kind of bothered me. I probably would have liked it had it not been spicy. My mouth was burning from the various types of black pepper & cayenne they put in the meal. The Far East Turmeric Elixir has pineapple, apple, fresh turmeric root, thai basil, & jicama was pretty good. I thought it tasted a little carrot-ey, but there weren’t any carrots in the ingredients. I definitely will keep going back to snap kitchen, as I am really focusing on working out, eating healthy, and limiting my calories to get back in shape. Snap Kitchen is the perfect way to help me out since I don’t cook and am terrible at counting calories for items that don’t have them on the wrapper(like fruit, vegetables, etc). Likes — Breakfast: Banana Pancakes(230 calories for $ 5.49) Housemade Chicken and Sausage Eggstack(220 calories for $ 6.49) Peach Oatmeal(210 calories for $ 5.49) Lunch: Fettucine & Vegetable«Alfredo»(290 calories for $ 6.99) Housemade Italian Beef Sausage & Spirals(250 calories for $ 6.25) Spaghetti Turkey Bolognese(260 calories for $ 5.50) Grass– Fed Lamb Lasagna(310 calories for $ 8.75) Dinner: Crispy Chicken(300 calories for $ 7.49) Snacks: Almond Crusted Chicken Strips(240 calories for $ 4.99) Caprese Salad(110 calories for $ 3.99) Caveman Quickies Antioxidant Blend(230 calories for $ 2.99) Desserts: KeyLime Pie(230 calories for $ 3.99) — AMAZING Dislikes — Lunch: Bison Quinoa Hash(320 calories for $ 8.49) — SPICY Chicken Butternut Squash Macaroni(350 calories for $ 6.99) Chicken & Green Chile«Enchiladas»(430 calories for $ 7.99) — too dry & no flavor Dinner: Grass-Fed Beef Meatballs & Peppers(240 calories for $ 7.25) — SPICY Vegetable Lasagna(280 calories for $ 8.25)

After a second try at snap kitchen I have had a much more favorable experience. I appreciate that the fact that they were very proactive about reaching out regarding my experience and recommendations. This time I got crispy chicken, lemon grass tofu and butternut squash soup. i actually ended up eating all of them several days after I bought them and was super impressed that they were still fresh and the flavors held up well. The crisp chicken was my favorite. The chicken was pretty basic, but seasoned enough, good portion and cooked perfectly. The almonds as a great crunch. The carrots with pesto was awesome. A big portion of carrots and the pesto was a great compliment to the dish. It was healthy and super filling. I am generally not a big tofu fan, but the lemongrass tofu sounded so good. I personally can never cook tofu right, it always gets a weird texture to me. However the tofu here was great with great flavor. A good portion of both tofu and peppers and onions. I wish there was a little more quinoa though. The butternut squash soup was pretty basic, I think it would help if it was a little thicker/richer and seasoning was picked up a little bit, it was a little bland to me. The meals do look to have evolved since my first try and i do appreciate the improvement. My husband is not totally sold and he says its just too healthy for him, what means I have no idea. I like to eat controlled portions with fresh veggies and lean meats. For that this is perfect. I however don’t follow any special diet — dairy, sodium, gluten free, etc. I understand that’s probably the bulk of people who shop here, but it could be beneficial to have some more standard type meals that are less intimidating to the average person, maybe some that aren’t gluten free. I will definitely be back now, but it will probably be when I am looking for easy quick meals for myself when my husband is travelling and I don’t feel like cooking.

Had a $ 10 coupon so used it to see what they had. A lot of choices, most of them paleo style, with a couple of gluten free grain dishes. I tried the bison burger. It comes with a fried egg on top which seemed strange knowing that you have to reheat in the microwave, so I asked, and the attendant advised me that it would be better to reheat the egg separately. I know that bison is a little on the dry side, so I reheated it in the oven with a little butter to add some good fat, and the egg for ten seconds in the microwave. I also heated the gluten free bun in the oven, and added some more of my own toppings(lettuce, tomatoe, saurkraut, mayonaise, mustard, etc.) It was not bad, but you can certainly get better burgers for the $ 9.99 price if you are not overly concerned with the health benefits. The concept of the store is understandable, but reheating cooked food in the microwave will never be gourmet, so let’s not be fooled. It is a convenience, and you pay for that. Since there are many dishes available, I can only base this review on what I had. The burger was tasty but dry, and I had to add my own condiments to make it acceptable. However, I would like to try at least one other dish before passing judgement on the whole menu or concept.

This place is hit or miss. The turkey spaghetti is delicious. I usually get a medium, but one day I tried a large and it was really dry. The other dishes that tasted pretty good are the chicken enchiladas and the naked chicken/beef.

I often have a need for healthy food that can be had on the run. I was thrilled to hear that Snap had opened nearby. On top of that, they mailed me a $ 20 gift card to give them a try. The place is bright and clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food combinations are imaginative and colorful. The dietary information is excellent. All good, right? I would be lying if I said the quality doesn’t suffer by meals all made in advance. There are only a few things that taste as good or better when reheated. I chose 5 meals, the best being the Green chili enchiladas and the ginger glazed chicken. The worst being the eggs with turkey chili and cheese. The eggs were overcooked and very rubbery. All 5 selections were very nicely seasoned. I’m confident that if I taste tested everything at the time it was prepared I would have been well satisfied. Which leaves me wishing that Snap would be come a restaurant instead of a make ahead kitchen. The total price for 5 selections was $ 39 prior to using my gift card. The BPA free containers are great and nice to reuse if they didn’t use so much glue on the labels. It is a lot of extra work with Goo-Gone to get them clean. A paper label that only stuck to itself at the overlap would be much better. Snap is half way there to meeting our needs for healthy eating!

I’m SO excited this place opened up nearby! I have been wanting a good healthy go to place to avoid splurging on crap in the mornings or for lunch, and I finally have one! This place has totally delivered. The meals are absolutely delicious! My absolute favorites so far have been the goat cheese scramble, herbed quinoa mac and cheese(omg to.die.for.), the bison hash, the kale caesar salad, turkey bolognese, and the goat cheese cheesecake. They are so good, I can’t seem to not get these items each time i am in the store. lol I also had the beef stroganoff, which was okay, not my favorite. I have had the juices too, they are good, but boy are they pricey. I would rather spend my $$ on food, but so far I have had all of them minus the one with cilantro because I *hateeee* cilantro, and they have all been good. The store is very organized, and I love how they section everything off in sizes. Yes the portions seem small, but I have never finished a meal hungry when I get the smalls, and I am totally satisfied. I eat every 2 – 3 hours, so when I go I always get breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks for my workday. So far its always cost me around $ 20 bucks give or take, which is pricey, but you are paying for quality food and ingredients, and it is helping me stay on track, so its a good treat for myself once a week(sometimes twice). I really want to try out their commitment program, its just a tad outside of my budget unfortunately, but if I ever were to get some extra funds I will definitely try and review :).

I typically go to My Fit Foods for my pre-made meals but I decided to give this place a shot since its closer to my house. The store is clean and well laid out. The staff is attentive and friendly, ready to answer any questions. The food selection is pretty good, lots of variety. Food tastes good too. All the dishes I’ve had taste better than their competitors(in my opinion). Good flavors and what I like is the variety– it’s not just a protein that’s put on the same veggies found in other dishes– I can only eat so much butternut squash. The heating instructions have been pretty spot on too. No dishes have been overcooked or come out cold. The prices are pretty much in line with the competition, some dishes maybe a little cheaper. Overall, no its not fast food cheap and there will be those that will say there are cheaper options, but I look at it this way: you’re paying for the ability to not cook and to have something healthy instead of scarfing down a burger. I’m usually too lazy or I don’t have the time to make my meals so this is a good option for me to steer clear of fast food. Snap also has a rewards program to track your purchases. You get savings after you spend a certain amount, which does add up quickly if you’re like me and get 3 to 4 meals a week. Snap says they change their meals seasonally, so we’ll see how the meals tastes and if their quality stays consistent. So far so good!

I am very lazy, my husband can’t eat wheat, so a place where i can run in and buy something fast for dinner so this whole thing appeals to me. But I wasn’t super impressed with anything I’ve tried. It’s not cheap, so you aren’t saving any money getting the food here versus going out to eat. The bigger portions were already sold out of some things when I got there straight from work in Plano. The bison quinoa hash really didn’t have much flavor, it needed something else going on(I put a fried egg on it and some random sauce I had in the fridge and it was actually pretty good but my whole point is to not have to cook!) There was a pasta dish, with like spinach and a yogurt sauce, and it too wasn’t very flavorful. The coconut shrimp themselves are actually quite delicious and I’d go back just for that but the pineapple rice is just way too sweet so I couldn’t get into it. My husband is much easier to please than I am so he liked everything so I might still go back just to get something for him or try some new things I might like but so far I am a little disappointed. I will say that you will get in and out of here much faster than if you went to go to Whole Foods(especially right after work hours) so I did like that, going in a grocery store always means I’ll pick up a bunch of random stuff and be stuck in the longest line!

Small salmon salad + Kale chips + small juice = a huge whole in your pocket! That all cost me $ 29! You can eat healthy for a lot cheaper at other places. The food wasn’t great ethier. My salad wasn’t even fresh and was brown. The kale chips ewww! I love kale chips and I think these went bad about two years ago. And my $ 9.99 juice is just an average juice with an expensive price tag on it, nothing special. Tip: Look at prices before you just swipe your credit card and JUSTGOTOWHOLEFOODS next time :)

In this category this style of restaurants does rock at this new location that opened last week. Friendly staff and the color containers showing which sizes they are is helpful. Sections are divided into Breakfast, Lunch and dinner so it’s clear to find what you want. Grass fed Bison salad was excellent. And where else can you get grass fed bison? All foods have full expanded labels. One of Addison’s newest and finest. A fan for sure.
