Sebastian’s Closet

Writing a review for my fiancé, because I know how much he loves this place. We went into the store in a bind-​needing dress pants and a tailor quick. They not only had some of the nicest options to choose from but they were incredibly helpful. We were helped by Ryan– he is super knowledge, really friendly, funny and just so great! We not only got his pants there (which were also immaculately tailored in time for our event the next day) but ended up shopping there a few more times. Everything is really high quality and the atmosphere is great. I highly suggest it, especially for mens casual wear that 1) doesn’t look like everyone elses and 2) is incredibly light weight and comfortable.

Unique clothing. Visual gurus on staff. Prices that are high but well worth it for what you get. SC has become my favorite place to shop for clothing.
Meet Gary: an ex hippie that is one of the better tennis players around. He is also a genius at matching outfits and colors. I’ve tried on shirts to see him frown, pull a color I never would have grabbed, tried it on, then promptly purchased his choice. he’s that good.
Meet Tim: picture George Carlin wearing a suit with sandals (and making the combination look GOOD). This man can do no wrong. His outfit combination and choices for customers are always dead on.
Throw in the odd glass of wine or beer offered when shopping, and this can easily become a new favorite hangout. Just be careful, a few too many glasses of wine and that pair of jeans that’s outside your budget can start looking awfully tempting.
The prices are higher than the average boutique. But the good news, scratch that. great news is that it’s all justifiably so. I’ve never seen anything like what they carry anywhere else (aside from their shoes). They stand by their clothing, offer amazing tailoring services, and give a no-​BS approach when asked «how does this look on me?»
Last year I decided to start taking a lot more pride in my appearance. Since then my wardrobe is now nearly exclusively from Sebastian’s Closet. I get compliments everywhere I go and I make it a point to swing by at least once every other week to see their new stuff.
