Meh. This place has gone down hill. Ordered food off the menu and it was cold! Our server was chatting it up with randos while our food was sitting on the counter. The drinks got to us relatively quickly, but I used to love the strong drinks, the sassy bartenders, and the good food, and my latest experience won’t have me coming back.

Let me tell you a tale about Stadium Café. After a day of playing a terrible round of golf me and my companions were looking for a place to eat. Now I had my hesitations about Stadium Café upon our arrival. The outside looked drab and the inside was dark. This could not be a place that I could find good food I thought to myself but like a boy in a classroom, I was about to get a lesson. We settled into a table near the Golden Tee machine and while I wasn’t playing the best game, I blame that on the beers that were tall and cold over the machine. See this place was full of friendly faces that were ready to pour a beer when you needed and boy they poured them big. Glancing over the paper menu, my doubt grew. See, I am an uptown man, used to the flash in the pan place,. The ones that have menus that jump out at you, the ones that have flashing lights and bright bars. How could such a humble menu impress the likes of me, a man who thought he had a refined taste. Just like Icarus who flew too close to the sun, I too was about to learn a lesson in humility. The waiter, well versed in the number of sauces and wings, guided me to two types of wings. The Honey BBQ and the«Fugly.» I went back to my game but when those wings came out they were honest and looked up at me. I had not seen wings that were that big or that juicy. Soaked in sauce, I took a bite into them. Suddenly, all of the pretentiousness, flash and the fluff that so many other bars came to light. See Stadium Café is honest and good. By God those wings were the best I have hand this side of the mississippi. If you wan a place that is to the point and honest. Go to Stadium Café. Dallas has too many places that are fake, it is refreshing to get a place that is true to it’s core. Go. Enjoy. Be honest.

Friendly, personable service for a crowd that doesn’t seem to get much more crowded than 10 regulars at the bar. ½ price food on Wednesday night. $ 2 burgers on Monday. The wings were average, edible, with about 20 sauces to choose from. I will add that there was an odd temperature variance form piece to piece — microwave? At around $ 4 for 12(on Wed night), how loudly can I complain? Decent nachos as long as you avoid the little pile of guacamole. Cheap alcohol. Smoking, lots of smoking.

Went by for lunch on Wednesday as my usual spots were full. Only two tables had customers so I seated myself. They place is worn out looking and reeks of cigarette smoke. After sitting at table for 10 minutes and never seeing any wait staff I left. I would say that the service was terrible since I did not receive any but they probably did me a favor by making me leave. I won’t be back.

Large space conveniently located in a corner spot in a small strip directly off of Beltline, Stadium Café lunch specials include plates like decent Chicken Fried Steak and two sides for under 5 bucks! Not too shabby! However, I don’t really identify it with a «café.» To me, Stadium skews much more local, divish sports bar. There are tons of places to sit; dozen+ tables, comfy booths, and of course seats at the bar itself. Stadium has numerous TVs, and a surprisingly super sharp extra large projection screen, making it a great spot to catch any of your favorite sporting events. They have many games, including billiards. Karaōke is hosted on select nights. In summation, there’s always something going on, if not anything more than chatting with some other bar flies. The staff are all super friendly — some of the nicest I’ve ever come across! And Stadium offers several drink specials(e.g., Wednesday Wells) and have a legit(albeit small) $ 1 late night grub menu. The sliders and tacos hit the spot. Not my choices for«ladies who lunch» per se, but a great place to wrap up an evening of entertainment in Addison… dive right in and join the fun! Note: Stadium Café does allow smoking throughout; however, their ventilation system is adequate so it’s not filled with smoke… you can smell it though. [157 in 2015]

Defititely not a café! Smokey bar with soso food would be a better description. The food kind of had an off flavor but it could have been the smoke in the air or the smell of stale beer. The prices were great! But then i got my food an

Love this place! It’s the perfect hole in the wall bar with really good food and great prices. The burgers are fantastic!

This place is crap. I ordered 3 beers and a $ 2 burger and the fries where hard as rock I then chipped my front tooth on the fries with my first bite. Ruining my whole experence there. The owner refused to reimburse my medical bills so yes court actions will be taken. Oh but he did comp my $ 11 tab even tho to fix my tooth it’ll cost $ 1600. See you in court.

Enjoyed playing trivia, and also the top-notch bar fare. Too bad when I left, I had to change out of my clothes, which all reeked of smoke. I could smell it the moment I walked in the door, even though I saw no one smoking around me. If smoke bothers you in the least, don’t go here! The service was friendly and attentive, and the menu was a step above typical bar fare. I had some delicious potato skins(that were a lot more than just skin) with sour cream and homemade ranch dressing on the side, and also the Blackjack Chicken sandwich. It was tasty. My companions recommended many menu items, in fact, including all the sandwiches and the burgers. It appears that they have a competent kitchen. However…two stars is what you get for not only letting people smoke indoors, but also failing to have adequate ventilation to vent that nasty stuff. Pity, because I really would like to go back for trivia, sometime. I won’t, though, unless they make some significant changes.

Stadium café has awesome happy hour deals on food everyday during the week, along with other free appetizers !! Mondays are $ 2.00 burger nights, with free hotdogs and chips and salsa!

Been going to Stadium Café for several years now. It is a nice quiet bar to hang out with friends and has several big screens to watch sports. Monday evenings feature the $ 2 half pound burger and fries which is a great deal. They also have a small buffet in the evening that features pizza, tacos and other small bites. The best deal is on Wednesdays before 10pm where the entire menu is half off. You can’t beat $ 4.25 shrimp cocktail. The drinks are reasonably priced and are very good. Highly recommended.

This is one of the smokiest bars I’ve been too. At times it feels like you climbed right into a smokers’ car. The atmosphere and food are typical bar with friendly waitresses. If I was a smoker this place would be heaven.

Not a place for lunch. Smoky and more of a bar atmosphere. However I got the Italian sandwich and it was better than Most bar foods.

I would rate this place 4 stars if it didn’t wreak of stale smoke. I love local joints where regulars often visit the bar, and they know you by name. We drove by this place during our lunch hour and decided to give it a try. It’s a cute little bar, and you can tell that this place is great for hanging out and having a few drinks. They have a huge menu with a variety of food ranging from wings, burgers, chicken sandwiches to several salad options and soups as well. I ordered the beef taco salad and asked for the dressing on the side, it was surprisingly really good and the mixed greens seemed really fresh. A friend of mine ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries, and he said it was really good. I had to try a fry, and it was good. This place is very homely, and it seems like a place for an older crowd.

Smoking bar, but not unbearable. Heads up bartenders that has most everyones drink ready before they ask. Mostly regulars, even an out of towner with a beard, mullet, and left ear gold small hoop earring. Dark inside except for the neon signs, tvs, and games(what is it with the games in dallas??). Elevated wood bar with a small roughed up rail and 12 or so stools. Bartop is wood, but has about a ¼″ of poly on it, brass foot rail. Bar back has shelves and hdtvs to either side, but a nice brick middle with a mirror and stadium café stained glass sign. Behind the bar stools is an island with about 8 stools that overlooks the seating area. Several lower eating tables and booths. Not a dive, definitely more local/neighborhood. Friendly, local vibe that can take or leave a visitor. Most congregate at the bar. Congregate at the bar

This favorite haunt is good when it comes to it’s standard burger. The weekly burger special the best in town for this bar food choice. They have expanded thier burger to another level with a «breakfast burger». This curious and tastey burger treat is so unexpected. Grilled beef patty with egg, bacon, and potatoes! fixed and topped anyway you’d like. Outside the box but includes tradition.

Great sports bar and they allow smoking it that is your thing. This is not family friendly and I believe the acknowledgement from the staff and others allows the customers to feel a little relaxed. I play trivia there and love the big screens. I rarely eat there, but if I really want some good wings they cannot be beat. Try their drums breaded and dry an you will feel that your mother made them. The drink prices are decent and the staff is always friendly. Owners are there regularly, so if you have a question or problem it will be addressed. Overall this is one of my favorite bars in the Dallas area for anyone that wants to sit back relax and have a drag.

Small sports/dive bar. Since we live in TX its hard to sometimes find a bar that will show our college(go Wildcats!) football games. After some research the manpiece did, we found Stadium Café. Upon arrival we noticed its a lot smaller on the inside than it looks. However, plenty of tables and comfy booths. All within excellent TV viewing. We pull two tables together in front of this big TV, and go ask the manager if he would put on the Arizona/USC game, he was so nice and not only put our game on, but put it on one of their big TVs. Sweet. Our waitress was very friendly and when I told her I just couldn’t get warm she brought me the most delicious Irish coffee and 10 minutes later I was schvitizing. Halfway through our game, we all ordered food. Their menu is totally random, from burgers to spaghetti to taco salads and drumoll please… a shrimp po boy. Ha. The food is eh, alright. Everyone seemed to be satisfied. They also had some vegetarian friendly foods too. Lots of TV’s and lots of games on. I believe it’s also the official Clemson watching hangout site. Just FYI. Yea, that was fun. *cough* not *cough* I would go back fo sho, fun divey sports bar. Also, just FYI. Smoking is allowed inside so for those of you who hate smoke, don’t go here. Definitely not a Saturday night party spot but as long as you are there for sports, decent food and drinks its a definite win!

I visit the place frequently on Mondays. They have 2 dollar half pound burgers and fries and 2 dollar drafts. Its a great place to meet with friends and kick back a few after a long day. They have huge big screens that play all of the top sports games and the service there is always good. If your tired of all of the chain restaurants I would highly recommend that you try this little place. Its got great character, atmosphere, and happy hour.

Interesting mixed reviews on this place. We thought it was a good option for us in the neighborhood, considering the close proximity to our crib. We wandered here our first time tonight, to check out somewhere different in the Addison strip, just craving some«munchies» and a libation(or two), not a really full meal.(Located on the Southwest corner of Beltline & Landmark, in a strip center) Our experience was rather nice. Great prompt service Reasonably priced — drinks & food Atmosphere– comfy, casual and relaxing, not too smokey on this visit We sat in a cozy booth along the window. Bar area was full, and all the tables on the lower level floor were fairly occupied, but not packed. Looked liked lots of folks visiting, chatting and having a good time. Several flat screen t.v.‘s, buzz time trivia, etc. Nice atmosphere. An okay place to just hang out, recap the day, and feel comfortable. We ordered the Ultimate Nachos to share, with the Chicken, which was surprisingly moist, shredded and flavorful, with sour cream, guac(a small dollop) and lots of lettuce, cheese and pico. Not bad for bar food. And a pretty large portion. We could not finish it. But, just bar food. Drinks were priced reasonably, draft beer at $ 2.50, house Merlot @ $ 4.00. Prices were just okay and acceptable. It’s definitely a place for«regulars», where the servers knew everyone, but treated us newbies just fine. All and all, experience was pretty decent, and yes, we’ll probably go back. The menu is extensive for bar food; apps, salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, etc. Some I think I would like to give a try !!! We left stating it was a good experience, so close to home. And, that makes a do over again real soon !!!
