Studio 21

The sales associates were so helpful and nice but the selection was so small. I drove out of my way to go here so I didn’t get the crappy selection that lovers lane had but when I got to studio 21 it was practically all movies. Very little selection of toys. The environment was great and they were helpful, they just didn’t have a whole whole lot to offer. Unless you want porn, then by all means, this is a great shop

Been here a few times for bachelorette party favors and ideas.
The people who work here are nice and informative. I like going to find new things to try. I’m always impressed with their sign out front (currently says «Moms Are Sexy too!» For Mother’s Day!)… The prices I feel are averages to other adult stores and Spencer’s.
It’s close to home and conveniently located.

This is the perfect place for a gift for your hubby or boyfriend and great for your friends bachelorette party and even during halloween they are the one stop shop.
They have a huge selection of costumes for all year round event’s. I love how they have things for the conservative and the not so conservative.
I have also gone there for all of my gifts to my girlfriends for their bachelorette parties from penis straws, to penis cake pans to gummy penis so there is no penis novelty that is left unturned.
they have a huge selection of toys, movies, lingerie for couples — this is definitely the place to go and they are very affordable. I prefer studio 21 over lovers lane any day !

5 stars. Clean, pleasant, zero awkwardness, lots of cool stuff to look at, and easy to find several items for purchase each visit to load up the toy box :) A little pricey but this isn’t Walmart, folks. Great staff. Made sure my merch worked before walking out… A+ for that customer service.

I have occasionally visited Studio 21 for over 10 years. The customer service there has been hit or miss. I stopped in New Years Eve to pick up one item. There was a man in front of me trying to exchange a DVD. Instead of them taking his word for it that the DVD freezes they decide that they need to test the DVD. Neither one of the ladies behind the counter acknowledges that I am waiting (the only other patron in the store). As I am standing in line with my ONE item waiting to check out one of the ladies starts digging in a box to find a cord to hook up a portable DVD player. The second lady just stands there and still does not motion to check me out while the other lady is looking for a cord. She finds the cord, plugs up the DVD and proceeds to play the DVD while I’m still waiting. At this point, I become a little annoyed because it does not take 2 people to play and check a DVD. I politely ask if one of them could ring me out while you’re playing the DVD and I get a sigh and roll of the eyes by one of the ladies. Now I’m extremely annoyed!!!
On another occasion, I bought almost $ 300 worth of clothing for a photo shoot. I didn’t need the corset I bought and decided I wanted to exchange it for some other items. I understood the return policy, but was I told that I could not exchange the corset because it is a «personal» item. A Corset? Not panties or stockings, but a Corset! Really? After that, I started ordering my clothing online again since the sites I use do allow clothing returns.
I will not be stopping at this place again. I would rather plan ahead and order my things online.

Had a great time. Blew some dough. Hit on a bunch of free gifts too. if you are scared of this type of store, Studio 21 is a good start because they have training wheels for first timers. Plus an experienced staff for experienced shoppers. I’d describe the sales ladies as «unflappable and knowledgable.»

This is my much preferred toy shop for a couple reasons.
1. The product is not lame. Whoever stocks the shelves here with products seems to know just how dirty I like to get. This is a *huge* bonus!
2. The staff is awesome! I was in the market for a new lube and we casually chatted up the pros and cons of each different type. I walked home with samples and a new bottle. Lube samples? Thank you very much!
3. I never feel sodomized in the store. Later? Maybe! But never by the prices which can happen a lot by that chain store with lame toys and next to no dirty tapes!
All in all, if you find yourself wandering on 290 or Lake and 83 in desperate need of some toys, Studio 21 is most definitely the place to go!

This place is a good time. I have been here by myself and with a girl and it is always cool. Movies, toys, and lotions galore are here. Prices are pretty decent. And for some reason, when you are looking at stuff, and the staff asks if you need help or want specific details about the products, you feel comfortable talking to them and you do not feel the creeps. If you are by yourself or want to have a saucy night shopping for fun things with someone, this is the place. It is 20 to 25 mins from me and well worth the drive.

When I lived in Chicago and worked in Addison I would drive right by this place. It caught my attention because the window displays are rather… interesting.heh. So I eventually ventured inside for some «interesting» items to suprise my boyfriend by later. Compared to places in Chicago (i.e. Lovers Lane, blech) I was suprised how inexpensive some of the items were. The best part is how CLEAN this place is and how friendly the sales girls are. And I love how they don’t look sleazy and arent pushy. If I’m flipping through racks I dont need a sales person breathing down my neck, watching my every move, making me feel like I’m being stalked. They have also have a good selection of items and their «clothing, accessory» section is separate from their porn section. They also have their own parking lot and are open late. I plan to go back here for my Halloween costume and I’m sure I’ll pay about half of what Chicago would charge.

It’s your average adult «toy» store. They rent videos, have a decent toy selection, and a lingerie and costume boutique. The service is helpful and not creepy and the store is clean.
The area is safe, it’s conveniently located off of I-​290, and they are open late.
