This is one of my favorite places on Monkey Island for breakfast. It’s homemade, delicious, and very affordable! They also do take out orders if you call ahead, which is very convenient when your group doesn’t want to leave the house. As with lunch, you walk in, order, then the staff will bring you the food, and you pay after you’re done eating. Breakfast has a hard stop at 11am or 11:30am so definitely call to confirm! Their pancakes are huge, and my favorite are the biscuits and white gravy… YUM! They also made omelets and other items, just good homemade breakfast food, and it’s hard to beat the prices. The only downside is that it can be very crowded later in the mornings during peak season weekends, so sometimes we skip the long lines and go down to Road Hog for breakfast, but most of the time, we do fine there! It’s our family’s go-to place for breakfast and lunch since the location is perfect for anyone staying on Monkey Island, and all of the food to date has been delicious and inexpensive!

This is a gem of a place — a gas station, a small grocery market and a deli. Even if you don’t need gas or groceries, stop by and checkout their breakfast and lunch menu. We finally took the time to drive down the road a few miles and have some breakfast. The omelet my husband had was excellent and the over medium eggs I ordered were cooked to my liking. The hash browns were crisp on the outside while cooked through on the inside. Service was fast and they are so nice. There is a small dining room that overlooks the runway. If you are lucky, maybe a plane will land or take off while you are there. I am not a brunch or buffet person — way too much food for me. This place is perfect — I can get a made to order breakfast! I can’t wait to go try a lunch item — I have a feeling it will make my 5 star list again.
