The owner of Moz will be converting this facility to a micro-brewery. Straight from a waitress

This is my favorite local place for dining. The bar and the dining area have two different atmospheres. The dining area is rather serene. The food has a unique exotic flair. Dishes with a really savory touch of flavor from India through Asia and perhaps more. This isn’t just heavy spices thrown on a dish but subtle blends and unique preparation. OMG has this place really closed down? I hope not, this town has crap all for alternatives. A few places in Westlake Village but nothing with this place’s sense of style or flavor.

Been hearing about this place over the last couple years, and mainly what I’ve hear is that is a fun scene. I must agree that the place is beautiful and the people I saw where beautiful. So here’s the rundown… Service: My husband and I sat in the bar, an talked one on one with the bartender. He was friendly and informed. Cocktails: I tried the lychee martini and it was great. I’ve had them at various other places and they are usually too sweet. This one was perfect. And $ 9.50 I think is a great price for a specialty martini like this. Food: This is where MOZ Buddha Lounge really let me down. First we ordered the filet satay. It was oily and didn’t resemble a satay at all. Even if it was their version of satay it wasn’t done well. The garlic edamame was exactly as it should be. For the entrée we ordered the tandoori lamb. The lamb was cooked perfectly, but in no way did it have any type of tandoori flavor. It was just lamb. It was served with a risotto. And it had to be the worst risotto I’ve ever had. It resembled bland rice. It ruined the lamb that was perfectly cooked. Needless to say we didn’t take the risotto home. This is my take on MOZ Buddha Bar. Come for drinks meet friends there go some place else to eat.

While I wouldn’t recommend a large party here(2 – 4 is best), this place is one of our favorites when we feel like splurging. Unlike Fins, we walk away from this restaurant feeling like our money was worth every bite, sip of wine, and candlelight flicker.

Don’t eat here unless your wallet is full. The food is tasty, but overpriced, and there is not much of it. My chicken came with no vegetables, no bread & only mashed potatoes. The service is excellent. Good place for happy hour, but that’s it.

This is for the bar only. Didn’t eat here. This is just another overpriced Agoura Hills bar that forgets where it’s located. My friend and I ordered two Glenlivets, and they ended up being around 12 bucks each. Fortunately, they were delicious. Unfortunately, that’s by no doing of this bar. The atmosphere and décor were good, though it’s kind of an awkward hallway set up and not much room around the bar. The dance floor was still empty by the time we left, but the band was just gearing up and had already gotten halfway through murdering a talking heads song. Cute waitress though. Definitely another cougar spot, which is really the only way any of us youngsters is gonna afford the drinks. Places like this one seem to be capitalizing on the fact that there isn’t too much in the way of alternatives in this area, but it’d just be SO nice to see a decent happy hour or nightly drink specials. ANYWHERE. If you know of one, please tell me. Please.

Re. Dic. U. Lous. For the third time in a row(and yes, lots of time inbetween of going back to the this rip off joint) we thought we’d give it a try again last night and watch the Laker’s game post work. We sat on the back patio with only two other tables in tow, so things have seriously slowed down there. Slowed down enough that I think ringing our credit cards correctly EVENAFTERWEWROTEWHATAMOUNTTOCHARGEONTHE F’INGSLIP would have been handled correctly. All cards were to be charged 34… two of us were the other had $ 200! WTF?! This is the THIRD time this has happened at MOZ, we will never go back here. If you do want to risk it, check your credit card the next morning. The food has also declined here, meh. So not a fan anymore. Off to Ladyface Pub now that it’s open!

I had a wonderful dinner. Service was prompt. The atmosphere was enjoyable. Pretty nice décor. PLUS, so many good-looking white guys at the bar. Wheeeeeeeee!!! 0_^0 I didn’t see so many cougars, but I did enjoy watching a few of the older crowd dancing their hearts out to a live band. We were too full to order desserts but I’m coming back. We ordered: Filet Mignon Satay Rib Eye Steak: came out a perfect medium Salmon Lobster Mashed Potatoes Food — 5 stars Service — 5 stars Parking — Self park or valet Restroom — never went Wait — No wait, made reservation on opentable

Unawares, the young, well-groomed male steps into these time-tested hunting grounds. There’s really no safe place to hide. A seat at the bar, a smoke outside, even sitting down at a table with a date… glowing sets of eyes, lined with L’Oreal and simmering with lust, begin to hungrily gaze upon him. The predatory species that inhabits this bar is tenacious… although somewhat predictable, giving the young cub a slight chance of escape if he keeps his wits about him. The cougars, however, have a keen sense of smell and know when their prey has been well-seasoned with gin and vodka. Soon, they are ready to ambush. In this particular Agoura Hills habitat, the old, crafty felines are able to camouflage easily as their cousin species«Shamelessius Goldiggerus» and feign interest in conversation with the abundant elderly males who, in their Tommy Bahama plumage, are easily misled into thinking the attention they’re receiving from the artificially-enhanced females has something to do with their personalities. After draining them for a few free drinks and leaving the rich, clueless old males to dance alone to some $ 50/hr live band playing«Heart» cover songs, the cougars circle the dashing blonde bachelor and begin to pounce. All that will separate him from those feisty cats is the width of his martini glass and about 15 years +/-of youth. Will he escape? Or will he be taken back to a cougar’s lair to «watch movies» on the big-screen TV she took from her 2nd husband in her most recent divorce? Find out when you visit Moz Buddha Lounge, near the Canyon Club off the 101 or also on the Discovery Channel.

Its okay. I however, love the asian fusion vibe. They have the inside bar and the outside bar. The outside patio isn’t very big, but they do have some comfy couches. They have reg. parking that can get pretty busy and they have«valet,» which unless you absolutely have to, don’t do it. The people here are a bit older and some not that friendly. I know ppl like to ppl watch but some just stare and make you feel uncomfortable. The waitresses are nice and so are the bartenders. The drink prices arent too bad. Pretty average around $ 7 – 12. They have some good food choices as well. And free happy hour food. A nice place to go to after work and just hangout. It can be a little loud with the music though. Overall, pretty decent for local.

Free food for happy hour! Low wine selection. Meh. Martinis are great though. It, like everything else in this town, is in a weird shopping plaza that you’d expect to take your kids to dance class in. They seem to have a lot of fun nights planned, salsa dancing, sake night, anything to get people not 40 in. I’m not sure how successful they are at it, but it is one of the places you can go when you need to avoid the older TO crowd.

Went here for dinner following the rehearsal for my son’s wedding. We were originally going to sit outside but decided for inside seating, which worked very well. It was a little dark but we were seated near the bar and the service was great. We shared 5 or 6 appetizers and they were all good. Entrée’ selections were extensive and my Tuna was excellent. Dessert consisted of a huge sundae in an equally large martini glass — something my future daughter in law enjoyed very much(in her best interests, I will refrain from publishing any photos). All in all, a nice place and one which I would like to try for a quiet dinner sometime.

Asian infused food, more like a barneys beanery. Came to this schizophrenic restaurant on a date and was greeted by an electric bull outside, cazadores/mexican tequila tasting, and a Buddha fountain. The restaurant was impossibly dark and the food was bleh. Stick to happy hour and you’ll be fine.

We’ve gone to Moz since they opened and have definitely seen a decline in the quality. The drinks and scene are great if you need some socialization in the ‘burbs. The ambiance is moody and hip, there is live music on the important nights(thurs-Sat), and a small bar area that is not too crowded. We finally ate there again tonight with the hopes of enjoying a great meal, but ordered the 20oz Rib Eye that was about 5 oz of meat, 15 oz of fat(might be a slight exaggeration.) We also had the Lobster Chowder, which was quite tasty, but would have been sooooo much better with some fresh bread. Since this is an Asian fusion place, they only serve edamame… uh, okay… we had Lobster Chowder, steak and fries… but it’s asian??? good martini’s and a decent wine list, last time we checked. It’s slim pickin’s out here in Agoura, if we are in the mood to drive, it’s not our first choice, in fact its doesn’t even make the cut. But for local eats, it’ll have to do.
