My parents have been coming here for years. We have loved and had many great meals at this restaurant. Tonight however, a hobbit named Joseph, came out of the woodwork as a manager and told us we could NOT be served and had to leave. This is me and my parents, who are over 70 years of age. We are not a bunch of trashy college kids, and were sitting in a booth, not dancing on tables. The meal was great as usual, but none of us will be back because of this shabby treatment. Upon confrontation, Joseph the hobbit like«manager», said we were bothering no one but had simply reached the amount of drinks they were willing to serve us(three each). Thanks for looking out for my 70+year old parents Joseph. They certainly couldn’t hang without you looking out. I feel like my parents deserve an apology. If they receive no apology within the next few days, I’ll just chalk it up to general corporate malfeasance. I’m also sending another letter in the morning to your corporate office. The level of insult to my parents and myself was extreme to say the least.

I’m very disappointed at the take out customer service. Over the phone they told me 20 – 25 minutes. 40 minutes later the side of chicken was missing when I got home. I asked at the counter where the chicken is and the guy pointed at the bottom of one of the bags and said its here! Like I’m suppose to know where it is. He did not bother to show me and guess what?! Not there. Customer service should be consistent.

This has been my favorite restaurant for YEARS, until I took my mom for Mother’s Day. I ordered the Baby Back Ribs, and ended up with really serious food poisoning that took weeks to recover from. My mom was sick as well(although less seriously than I was). I hate to think I will never go back, considering how much I have always loved the food, but honestly I don’t think I can stomach returning. Wood Ranch, please look into your food safety immediately.

Always pleased with my meals and service here. The garlic rolls are delicious, and their tri-tip is great. I like mine rare so I ask them to give me the rarest cut they have and it’s very good. Mashed sweet potatoes are off the hook. Great food all around!

I can kick myself for not knowing about Wood Ranch many, many years ago. I’ve heard of Wood Ranch in the early 2000’s when I used to work in Camarillo but never went. Since it has quite a few locations, in my mind it’s just another large corporation that owns lots of cookie cutter restaurants. I can definitely say that my family loves Wood Ranch. The wait can be long if you go during peak dinner or lunch hours but they have been really good at accepting reservations if you have a large party. I recently took my kids and ordered the following: Kids burgers($ 6): it came with two good size sliders and a side of broccoli. I kid you not, it was a whole broccoli head. My son loved it. Kids All American BBQ Ribs($ 9): it has about 6 – 7 baby back ribs with a side of fries, they were meaty and fall off the bone tender. My daughter loves their ribs. I got the BBQ Two item combo($ 23): I picked beef ribs and tri tip. The beef ribs are huge. I wanted medium rare for my tri tip and the server said that I can get it like that but I got my tri tip pretty much well done. So note to self, just stick with the ribs. The service was great and the place was clean. I’m looking forward to coming again.

The recent changes in the portions and quality are disappointing. Last night’s to go meal was inexcusably bad. We had bbq beef sandwiches which we’ve ordered multiple times in the past. This was not what we’ve received before. The meat was like the thin roast beef from a grocery store soaked in excessive amounts of barbeque sauce. It was quite small too. In the past, sandwiches were big enough to share.

Wow. I always have delicious food and service at Wood Ranch. Everytime a friend comes over to my place, thats the first place they want to eat. This time I had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager, GRANTSALISBURY. What a delightful man and extremely professional. We asked Grant to come over to complement the service and the food. Grant Salisbury personally picked out the center cut of my ribs and boy were they fabulous. Grant Salisbury is definitely liked and respected by all the employees. Thank you so much Grant for your kindness and attention to our table. You are an asset to the company. I would also like to complement BAYLEEWILLIAMS for your help also and you had the kindest words regarding your General Manager Grant. BAYLEE, you also are an asset to the company and one day I can see you being a general manager. You have those skills and once again, thank you.

The place is close to my house and I recommend this location over the one in Woodland Hills. I got the steak combo it was about $ 20 and it worth it, it was well cooked and so good. It’s served with baked potato and French fries . Service is very quick . Parking is so so .,

I know this place is just a chain, but time and again, I’ve been thoroughly grossed-out by their food. Their BBQ ribs are just OK — they’re smoked(not boiled, it seems), but they’re usually dry and not«fall off the bone» tender. Kinda tough and chewy, actually. What REALLY grosses me out is how they put SUGAR in EVERYTHING. I’m serious! Their mashed sweet potatoes are BEYOND sweet. Too sweet — there must be a TON of added sugar. The baked beans are WAY too sweet. The peanut cole slaw is sweet… Even their Mac and Cheese side is gross — SWEET, sticky and the macaroni is undercooked. Who the hell puts SUGAR in Mac and Cheese? Just rename this place the«We Put Sugar in Everything BBQ and Grill.»

Tommy was great! Stoled my lil sisters heart! The food was great, I drove all the way to from West Covina to see what all the buzz was about it! And the drive was well worth it!

Maybe every person has their own different liking to taste, But this place seems really overpriced for its worth. I don’t feel like I’ve really gotten any bang for my buck. The taste wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t really worth the time waiting for a table(Sunday night, so I take some blame) but was almost a forty minute wait. One of my close friends highly recommended this place so I was extra excited, but maybe that’s why my expectations were a bit high. The garlic knots were decent, but I wish it was more flavorful. The portions were a bit small for the price… The bathrooms were pretty clean though! Maybe I’ll get to retry this place again and give it another shot.

Love Wood Ranch BBQ! BBQ chicken potatoe skins are yummy! Tried the drink special lemonade was delicious but light on alcohol. Best to have wine here. The garlic butter basted bread here is awesome! Warm and soft! Great dipped in the BBQ sauce. The tri-tip is always cooked perfectly! Tender and delicious. Quality meat served here. I really like the crisp peanut Cole Sala The BBQ chicken is a great dish with enough for 2, just get an extra side. Mashed potatoes and mashed sweet potatoes are good sides. Roasted corn is one of my favorites. The BBQ chicken chopped salad is my lunch time favorite! House made BBQ sauce is the best! The staff is always very friendly and provides attentive service. I like the large booths. Parking can be tough sometimes, but I got lucky today!

Wood Ranch BBQ was always a favorite of ours since we moved to Agoura Hills, over 10 yrs ago. Their steaks were thick and juicy, their fish fresh, their chicken dishes tender, and great service. Whether you ate in for dinner, lunch, or take-out … they never disappointed until recently(since last Oct. 2015, quite noticeably to be exact), we had been weekly regulars up until then. WR’s food quality seems to have deteriorated ALL the way around: from their meats, side dishes, and even having been served stale rolls a few times to the point where we stopped going. It’s just wasn’t the same anymore. But to be fair, we tried yet again a take out meal: 2 piece BBQ combo with half baked chicken and tri-tip, with a side of mash potatoes and coleslaw. I’m glad they are putting peanuts back on the coleslaw, and mash potatoes … hard to screw up, and the rolls were fresh. Unfortunately, while the chicken had the same WR flavor I like, it was AGAIN very dry and chewy. As for the tri-tip, really? After the piece I got, I think I have officially have had better tri-tip from a food truck. Very disappointing! Good bye Wood Ranch!

I’ve never heard of wood ranch until I tried this place. I always get the baby back ribs here. They are always really good. The best part of wood ranch is definitely their bread! It’s covered in buttery goodness. I dream about that bread. Price here is good for what you get. I like getting the combo because the brisket here is really good too. The sides I think are just ok, but the meat here is really good. We also like to get the guacamole here too. It’s so good and really fresh.

Summary: This place doesn’t seem to want to accommodate wheelchairs and their«service» is absolutely horrible Unique Situation: Member of party in wheelchair My experience here was SO bad, it was worthy of a negative review — which I never give. We arrived with a party of 5, with one member in a wheelchair. They tried to seat our friend, after a 20 minute wait, in an aisle at the end of the booth directly in the middle of the walkway. There was not a seat there, but it would be a place they might seat a high-chair — not at all appropriate for a wheelchair with no space for his feet to go, so he would have been 3′ from the table. Any reasonable person could see this seat was unacceptable, which demonstrated their lack of understanding, care, or concern about guests with disabilities. After we told them the table cannot accommodate a wheelchair, the server had an indifferent and unhelpful attitude. We pointed to one of the few tables that could have accommodated us, but they said it was reserved for a telephone reservation. While I understand the tables were reserved, we were physically there, had been waiting, and there were very few tables that could accommodate a wheelchair. Needless to say, we were kept waiting in the entrance for another 40 minutes without ANY unprompted updates or contact with service staff. After an hour and a half, we finally had enough of the discourteous, disrespectful, and disingenuous service we received.

We normally love the Wood Ranch but it’s not as great as it used to be. It’s still good but just not great. The prices are kind of high for the amount of food they serve you. The rolls came to the table and they were barely warm not a great start. My girlfriend had the fresh Atlantic grilled salmon($ 19.95) with a side of brocolli and she said the salmon was ok and the brocolli was bland. I had the beef brisket($ 15.95) with the macaroni and cheese side, I got 3 thin slices of brisket and a small scoop of macaroni and cheese. The macaroni used to be my favorite but this time it was kind of gummy. My husband had the 2 slider pork sandwich lunch($ 12.95) which he had the same gummy macaroni and cheese and 2 small sliders which had more pickle than meat, he said they were ok. We had the ice tea and the waitress never came by and asked if we wanted more. We had to practically beg for an ice tea refill. I want the Old Wood Ranch back.

This place really does have best bbq I’ve ever eaten. Not only is the food awesome, but the staff is very welcoming and friendly. As soon as you pull up to the parking lot, you can smell the rich smoky cloud of pure yummyness. It’s truly mouth watering! Within walking in, there’s a bar area with plenty of tvs for a game night. There are plenty of tables and booths, but I’d still recommend calling ahead, especially if you have a group. When we went, we arrived about 2 hours to closing, but they still seated us quickly and our service was exceptional. The service we were given, was so good that it felt like we had our own server. He attended to our napkins, drinks, food, and asking if everything was okay. I admit that I don’t often get that in other restaurants these days. We started off with an appetizer of the shredded onion fries. Crisp, not overly greasy and tasty. A very good starter. I ordered the bbq half chicken with(real) mac n cheese and grilled asparagus. You can really taste the smoky goodness in the chicken. It wasn’t overly smoky at all. Just right and OMG fall off the bone tender. Two kinds of bbq sauces are provided at your table. The mac n cheese is creamy and reminded me of good ol’ fashioned hearty mac and cheese. Made the way it should be made! The grilled asparagus is fork tender, and also had a smokyness. Delicious! In all honesty, I was so focused on my own food, that I don’t remember what my husband ordered. LOL Actually, I remember he ordered the baby back ribs with one of his sides being a baked potato loaded with butter, sour cream and chives. I forgot the second side dish. All I really know is he demolished his plate. He’s a thin man, but he sure loves his bbq! The food here is hearty, inviting, comforting, and tastes like REAL smoked bbq. That’s the way it should feel and taste. Thank you so much for the excellent food and service.

We ordered online and went into the store to pick up our order. There is a dedicated«pick-up» window line but it is long. MAKESURETOCHECKYOURORDERBEFOREYOULEAVE! We ordered 2 – 8 rib meals and both only came with 7 ribs. There was a lady complaining about how small her rib pieces were and the manager said that he would give her a few extra pieces and I feel that we suffered the consequences of this.

Can you imagine coming to a BBQ restaurant and ordering a house made vegan burger? Well, this is the place! My dining companions ordered a turkey burger which I was told was delish, too. Both burgers come with a generous side. I chose the steamed broccoli. Yes, I know, not very exciting although it was satisfying and tasty !! Service was excellent too and our server Austin was the best.
