When I usually come here, the food is good and fast. It’s one of those places you go to whenever you want. This time, I felt like having saimen, because I had never had it there before. When the saimen came, it looked a bit small. When I started eating it, I noticed it seemed to be a bit plain, and looked sort of like the packaged kind you find at stores. It was NOT worth the money they chargemd for it. Gazebo is good, but don’t order saimen!

What a delight! I did get to go because I was on the go. I had a terrific chicken and vegetable salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette. Everything was so fresh and the portion was perfect. Sometimes when you get salad it’s not enough. Not this one! They added avocado, hard boiled egg and Parmesan cheese and it was under $ 10.00 before tax and a small gratuity. Thank you for an awesome fresh lunch at a 1⁄3 of the price of my favorite go to place.

Slowly but surely food quantity and quality for the price has gone down. For an $ 8 turkey sandwich, only one slice of pressed luncheon meat turkey. Staff unfriendly and weekend manager arrogant and proud of it. Not be-fitting to be in a Macy’s store. Paying for quality and at least medium grade… getting none of that now.

I love it here but for the prices, i’m not full and I could pay more for better food and bigger portions. The taste of the food isn’t the problem though. So I wouldn’t come here occasionally but maybe once in a blue moon.

I would come here again, if I were out shopping at Pearlridge. I was getting that low blood sugar, light-headed, space cadet feeling, as it was nearly 1pm and I was HUNGRY. While my wife and daughter were checking out clothes at Macy’s, my son and I scoped out the second floor, since I had a dim recollection of there being a Gazebo restaurant here. Sure enough there was. I called the girls, and asked them to «hele on» upstairs. I had a pastrami sandwich with potato salad, and I was satisfied and able to string intelligible sentences together once again. The woman at the register was particularly friendly, and remarked how nice it was to see a husband and wife with their children together as a family. I still prefer the Gazebo at the Windward Mall Macy’s just because I like the«vibe» in Kaneohe more, but this will remain our«go to» place whenever we are in these parts around lunch time.

This cafeteria style restaurant is a nice escape from the busy bustling food courts here at the mall. My daughter and I got hungry while shopping so we came here. They have a pretty large daily specials menu right at the door that you could look over. Then as you enter there are trays and utensils at the wall to your left. Pick those up and move on to place your order. We didn’t want anything too heavy to eat because we weren’t done shopping so my daughter ordered a half egg salad sandwich with salad. The lady asked what dressing she wanted and my daughter asked for ranch. Weird because the lady assembled the sandwich and gave my daughter a bowl of vegetable soup instead. Hmm… short term memory?! We just brushes it off and took the plate and placed it on our tray. I ordered a club sammy and fries. With drinks it came out to almost $ 29. We go to sit down and the dining room was nice and empty. I loved the club sammy and the fries were thick and yummy. My daughter didn’t care for the egg salad sammy. Yeah it was pretty bland. So was the vegetable soup. Bleh. So we ended up sharing the club and fries. What’s cool is that we didn’t have to bring our trays anywhere. You just leave it on your table to be bussed. Boom. Lunch done and shopping continues. We still leave happy.

I really like this place. They serve real food. It’s diner food but it’s real diner food, not processed food. When they make chicken soup, they start with fresh chicken. All of their soups are freshly made. When you order a salad, you can tell that they just sliced the vegetables and that what you are getting didn’t come out of a bag. They serve breakfast for a little while and the folks who work there are professional and nice. The restaurant needs a facelift but somehow I don’t mind that, especially considering that their prices are fair for what you get. I usually stick to the soup/half sandwich deal. This is easily my favorite place to eat at Pearlridge Mall.

I like the coziness of this place on the third floor of Macy’s. Cafeteria style dining and a quick place to grab lunch, away from the craziness of the food court downstairs. The soup/sandwich and the soup/salad deal for $ 7.95 is a no brainer. The sandwiches are made for you on the spot and the soups are delicious. I just had the mushroom chicken soup and it was yummy. There are lunch specials written outside on a board and there is also an old school menu inside as well. The tables were clean, service pleasant and fast. If you are lucky enough to get a window seat, the view is great and uplifting. My coworkers tried the furikake salmon and were very pleased with the size portion they received. No complaints here.

Local, old-school diner food. Today’s special — whole roast turkey. Awful stuffing, but great turkey. No cranberry sauce :-( Have to use sweet chili sauce, I must be in Hawaii!

Friendly staff, very helpful. Prices of the meals are a little too high for the quantity and quality. Very dated interior design! Looks like a hospital cafeteria… from the 1980’s. So bad that everyone at our table was taking turns making fun of the dated appearance of the restaurant. *** Three Stars — Service is good, food is overpriced, but interior aesthetics will entertain you while you wait.

Came here once. Nice little place but the whole thing reminds me of a hospital cafeteria and hospital food. Was not impressed as much as i thought i would be. The name sounds like a more up scale restaurant which it wasnt. My food had barely any taste! Won’t be coming here again.

We don’t usually eat here but decided to try it today. We were looking to try something different. It was cafeteria style. We ordered a hot pastrami sandwich, seafood chowder, chili cheese fries, baked chicken with mushroom gravy, and a butter Mochi. It was nothing spectacular. Food was a little on the bland side. The only thing that was good was the seafood chowder! The service on the other hand was good. So one star was for the service and the other for the chowder but that’s all I can give.

Workers are always quick, usually friendly. The soups are a hit or miss, we’ve had some with barely anything in them and mostly broth or cream, but we’ve also had some really great soups. It can even be the same soups, just depends who is cooking that day I guess. I always order the buffalo wings and fries, which come out tender and juicy with crispy fries. My husband usually gets the Teri beef and fried rice and enjoys the flavor. Their salmon and chicken dishes are usually good.

My husband and I have never dined at the Gazebo at Macy’s Pearlridge location until recently. That day, my husband and I were in a hurry to get lunch before he had to go to work and since the food court was a madhouse, we thought we were going to go to lunch outside of the mall but then as we were walking back to the parking garage through Macy’s I remembered there’s the Gazebo restaurant. So we took the two escalators up to the third floor and found the restaurant. Luckily, there was plenty of tables available. We checked the specials on the whiteboard at the entrance then we stood in cafeteria style line to order our food. I ordered the Ranch Chicken and with my choice or soup or salad I decided to have the corn chowder. My husband was super hungry so he ordered a Chef Salad and a mini Furikake Salmon. We got my order immediately, but we were given a number to wait for my husband’s order. The table we sat at had a nice view of the bridge to Ford Island and I could see the USS Arizona Memorial right behind the bridge. The servers brought out my husband’s salad and salmon to our table. I really enjoyed the Ranch Chicken. It was baked nice and tender and the gravy tasted great with the chicken. I was so full from the chicken that I didn’t finish my corn chowder. My husband enjoyed his Chef Salad since it was topped with lots of meat and his Furikake Salmon was moist. My husband said he’s glad we came to eat here and we would love to come back here again.

Against my good judgment I came back here the other week. I ordered I believe a teri-chicken meal. Horrible. The soup which was vegetable soup had no flavor and the vegetables were very mushy and gross. The teri-chicken was dry and the inside had no flavor. They told me the regular cook was out. Whoever was filling in obviously was not trained well. The short little girl that served me was pretty rude as well. 12 bucks for two pieces of dried chicken and rude service…

What’s great about this restaurant is its location…3rd floor of Macy’s hidden away from the Mall traffic… you even have a view of the parking lot and Sumida Watercress Farm… Food is nothing spectacular, but satisfying enough to tie you over for more shopping. They have 2 – 3 daily specials that usually consist of an entrée, sandwich or soup. Best time to go is during breakfast & lunch… by mid-afternoon to dinner, a lot of the specials may be all sold out by then…

I normally order their Buffalo wings, but today I wanted something different, so I saw that they had a teri steak with fried rice, so I decided to try it out. To my surprise it was very onooooooo as well as the fried rice. very home style type of cooking. Definitely will be ordering this again when I go back. A must try.

Unilocal 365 Challenge x 2 #256/365 *2014100 Challenge #1/100* Who remembers the cafeteria restaurant at JC Penney’s(which is now Ross Dress for Less)? If you do, you just revealed your age! But, I’ll be honest… I miss them! I miss their meatloaf and cheeseburgers. Actually, I miss that back in the days after shopping or having our hair did at the JC Penney hair salon with my mom or sisters, we’d end up at the cafeteria. Great family memories of food and permed hair! However, it’s a thing of the past with the former stores and eats of Hawaii. BUT here’s Gazebo located at Macy’s Pearlridge! I’ll be the first to admit that I never knew about it until a few years ago because my friend shared that her son met up with a youth group at Gazebo’s. I initially thought Gazebo’s was a coffee/Starbucks type of place to hang out until she compared it to JC Penney’s cafeteria. This made me pause, sparking my interest and had me craving for meatloaf and cheeseburgers… that I haven’t touched since August 2013. I made up my mind and dragged my daughter with me to Gazebo’s. It’s located on the third floor near the luggage and kitchen ware area. You don’t even realize it’s there until you are near their entrance too! As we entered in, the counter is to your left with the dining area to your right. They have specials of the day along with a open grill(not sure the times). As it is with cafeteria style, you have your choice of sides from starch to veggies. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. The dining area is bright with a nice view. I ordered their special of the day, which was chicken and I requested for brown rice and veggies on the side(gotta be as healthy as possible, right?) It does get crowded quickly with a lunch crowd of shoppers but honestly, if you aren’t a shopper while your family members are and you want someplace to sit without the loudness of a mall, the Gazebo’s is a place you can hide away in with coffee and food from their counter. Or if the food court doesn’t appeal to you and you don’t want to drive or walk to Anna Miller’s? Gazebo’s is a good option since there is no Sizzler’s anymore. The food is comforting, the price is right and the ambiance is bright, relaxing and friendly-you can’t ask for more then this, yes? Recommendation: Definitely

Reminds me of school lunch back in the day. Their Korean chicken is actually more like Shoyu chicken… was good, but I’ve had better. Their stuffed cabbage… meh! was good, but I had better. This place seemed more of an employee cafeteria than an actual eatery. Not someplace I would frequent.
