Great quality and dish looked fabulous. Would come again. Had the Hawaiian Maki which had Unagi and sliced Avacado on top and Spicy Ahi inside. The tiger had tempura inside. Great sauces.

Sushi quality was lacking and the fish was way too thin. Good service by the staff and the restaurant was clean. Prices are reasonable and service is fast.

This is my favorite Ninja Sushi by far. The lady is so friendly and sweet. I love that she remembers my face and my boyfriend. It’s a great place for a quick sushi fix. My favorites have to me her teriyaki chicken salad, takoyaki(must have), and her superman maki. Her service is fast, her store is clean, and her workers are friendly just like her!

I love Ninja Sushi! It’s one of my favorite spots to pick up lunch for a quick sushi fix. It’s too bad they don’t make the sushi as quick as you’d think a Ninja might. Or maybe they move slowly and stealthily like a Ninja. They have great choices for their sushi rolls. My favorites are the tiger, tornado or t-dragon! Pretty much any roll with tempura and ahi. The restaurant itself is nice and clean. I don’t mind eating there but we usually take our food to-go. The workers are always friendly but it just takes so long. Do not come here if you are starving!!! But if you do have time to wait for some good sushi, this is the place!

This is my favorite place for sushi for maki rolls. I have been going to this location for 5 years and I have not encountered any problems. The owner is really nice and makes eating there enjoyable. I always order the tiger maki with a side of takoyaki.

My husband and I have lived in Germany for the past 7 months and were dying for some good sushi by the time we arrived in Oahu. Found this hidden gem after trying another restaurant at a strip mall across the street and weren’t impressed(conveyor belt style and very limited menu). When we arrived at Ninja Sushi we were so excited!!! The rolls are prepared quickly and we’ve eaten there twice since then and the staff remembers us. A very nice small town feel and just really good sushi. And the prices are reasonable.

3 Stars because the food is good here. But service sucks! Lady was on the phone the whole time(her own personal cell phone). I wouldn’t have mind if she put the phone down just for a minute to let me know what my total was. Gave her my cash payment and not one thank you from her!

This place doesn’t even deserve a star!!! My husband and i always go here when we’re tired to drive and don’t wanna deal with traffic since it’s right across from our place. This is not the first time they either forgot to give us wasabi and soy sauce or they ran out. We’re always on a rush so we just get it to go and leave. But i keep giving them a second chance thinking they’ll remember the sauce and wasabi. Again i went today to get some dinner and was so pissed when i got home and their was NOWASABIANDSOYSAUCEAGAIN but just chop sticks like what the hell? not only that but my superman was tasteless too, their was barely any filling in it plus the filling) looked like a fish from yesterday i mean I can tell a fresh one and a fish that was probably out for hours. We ordered the Superman and terryaki chicken combo it cost $ 21, Not worth the money!!! We are not going here ever again…

We came here today for lunch to try some sushi. I’m a sucker for sushi! They are located at the west ridge shopping center. We ordered the superman since I read some of the reviews about how good it was. It was ok. We also ordered several other things but the best item was the takoyaki! It was nice and creamy in the middle and had large chunks of tako!!! I must say that out of all the reviews that I read about the different dishes that people raved about, I didn’t see many about the takoyaki. But it was the bomb!!! In my opinion, it is one item that you must try! If you are ever in the area and haven’t tried it yet, I suggest you try it!

Inside was dirty and food was bad. The table was sticky, there we stains all over the walls and just a general uncleanliness! Would never go here again.

Came here to get take out because my girls were at gymnastics and it was lunch time. It was our first time here so we took our time looking at the menu. If you are more of a visual person like I am, they have pictures along with the names of the different items that they serve in the front. Closer to the register is a laminated paper that gives a description of what is in the different rolls such as the hawaiian or the tornado. They have a new item called the Green dragon which I decided to try.(See pic for description) The hubby got their tonkatsu ninja pac, while we got our girls the udon. I enjoyed my roll. Though like most sushi places I’ve been to, they do pack on the sauce. I tried my hubby’s tonkatsu, and although the flavor was there, he didn’t appreciate so much sauce on his chicken. It may have been best if it was left on the side so that the customer had the choice of how much(or little) they wanted on their food. Their udon was your typical udon. That dashi tho — SALTY! It could use just a tad more water and it would be fine. Also, halfway through my daughter eating her udon, I looked down and saw something strange(and brown) floating in her soup. I found that quite odd since it was only suppoeed to be just the noodles and seaweed. ITWAS A PIECEOFPLASTIC! I was so disgusted, I mean, who knows where it came from?! Of course we lost our appetite after that. I’m not sure if we will be visiting this location again. Who knows what else we’ll find next time! Word to the wise: check your food before you leave the store!

Came here today with my Wife and Son to pick up lunch for my girls who were at gymnastics, and what started out to be a great experience while ordering, actually turned out pretty bad for my oldest daughter. I ordered the tonkatsu Ninja combo, my wife ordered their new item which was a Green Dragon with avocado and shrimp. We ordered shrimp udon for my daughters because thats their favorite. My wife, son, youngest daughter and I enjoyed our meals but unfortunately my oldest did not. Ther reason was that she found a medium sized piece of what seemed to be plastic of some sort. I’m pretty sure everyone at some point ate something that unfortunately had an extra piece of ingredient(I say this sarcastically) that was not part of the recipe and immediately lost their appetite. Well, that’s how my daughter felt and basically was done eating after a few bites of her udon. Overall I have mixed feelings because of this situation. Will we go back to enjoy some sushi at this location? Maybe, but it might be some time before we do so.

Nicest Korean lady owner. Makes fast good sushi. If your looking for good local style sushi this is the spot. Also go check out Makoto sushi right up the road.

Very disappointing! We ordered 3 rolls based off of the menu they have posted on the counter. My wife thought it would be a good mix to order the ‘sunset roll’ due to the menu stating it comes on a bed of spring mix with apple dressing. After waiting 7 – 10 minutes; with only 1 other person in the restaurant; we finally received our rolls. We both looked at the plate in wonder??? There was no greens… My wife asked the lady behind the counter what the roll was call just to make sure she told her the correct roll. The lady confirmed the roll was indeed the sunset. She then questioned her on the ingredients! The menu says nothing about crab being in the roll but it clearly had in inside. She also asked about the green and the lady just kept saying it is the correct roll! She just kept arguing with my wife. We put down our chopsticks, got up and walked out of the building! We will never step foot into this restaurant again!

I am a fan of Ninja Sushi, but each location is run differently. What you might find at one, you might not find at another. Oh, and be warned… if you like a particular kind of roll at one location, it might not taste the same at another. This place doesn’t offer the freshest high quality sushi that some might want, but it’s affordable and still tasty(in my opinion). My usual order from Ninja Sushi would be the Superman(a spicy ahi roll, topped with fresh ahi, yummy crispies, green onions, and unagi sauce). However, on this particular visit, I thought I would change it up a bit. I tried the Tiger Roll(shrimp tempura and crab inside the roll and topped with spicy ahi). While the Tiger Roll was decent, I think I will stick to my Superman from now on. They never let me down with the Superman. The menu is plentiful, so if you’ve never been here before, it may take you some time to figure out what you want. There’s a separate menu on the side that explains what is in each type of roll. This location is special in that they have big plastic cups(so big that the straw doesn’t even stick out from it) on the side that you can fill with water from the fountain drinks machine. Also, there is a hot tea machine that you can frequent as often as you’d like. Customer service was pretty good. They welcome you when you come in, bring the food to you when it’s ready, and say goodbye when you leave. You can leave your dishes on the table and they will clean it up for you.

The Horror, the horror! Been here twice now because I was in the area and needed sushi quick. The interior needs to be pressure washed because there’s a greasy film on every surface from floor to ceiling. There has got to be a roach and rat problem. When my garlic salmon nigiri arrived it was absolutely drenched in mayo. I got up and left my food untouched and walked out never to set foot in there again.

Just finished shopping at pearl ridge and wanted to get some sushi for a light dinner. Nothing looked interesting at the food court so figured I check out Ninja sushi, stuck in my mind cuz passed by it before I went to pearlridge phase 1. Located at westridge shopping center, right accross the mall, bed bath and beyond, right below Tony Roma’s. plenty of parking but it’s late afternoon, after work, on a weekday. Been to other restaurants there and when they get busy, parking is a pain. Cute little sushi restaurant. Décor is colorful and modern. Was empty and I was the only one there, like I said it was right after work so this is the slow time. I was greeted promptly as I walked in. Clean and organized. Did not see anything out of order. They had K-pop music playing in the background, wish I could understand cuz it was in Korean. Didn’t bother me cuz music was nice. The menu is vast, very hard to choose. They sell bentos, and tea drinks too. They had signs all over the place for a new sushi, the green dragon. So of course I ordered it and kalbi with chicken bento. The sushi did not disappoint! Was tasty good. The flavors really meshed, this is a winnah. Their Bento was huge with sushi on side. You can see the quality of the food and how it was presented. Was very neat and not at all sloppy. Affordable prices, was all below 10.00. They sell platters for parties which is good because I have parties for days. Coming back soon. Already thinking what I’m ordering next visit

I usually LOVE ninja sushi. Many times when I want sushi, I want it to satisfy a craving now. No, I do not want to wait 45 minutes for a spot, then another 20 minutes for my fave pieces to come around the sushi boat, praying the jerk face in front of me doesn’t grab it. In fact, just give me the damn fish and a bowl of rice and get out of my face. This is exactly why ninja sushi works for me. It satisfies the craving. It is not the best damn fish I’ve had on the island, but I don’t get sick. However, I get nervous when the spicy ahi looks tan instead of pink. This is because of the engorged amount of mayo mixed into the LEETLE tiny pieces of fish. I mean really? Just call it fish mayo. I have not had this problem at other ninja sushi’s on the island. I think I’ll order out from kuru kuru from now on. Oh and the free«tea?» tastes more like miso than tea. Stick to free water. Don’t mind the bags of trash by the door. They are just trying to recycle :)

I decided to give this place another try after reading all the positive reviews and thinking that perhaps I just caught this place on an off day. Today I tried the Rainbow Maki which was okay nothing special and then the Ahi Lover. The spicy ahi pieces were fine, but the pieces of ahi were simply inedible. I am sadly crossing this place off my list.
