Drive thru service was terrible! No fries in my bag, wrong size chili order, nothing to eat the chili with. I know we eat poi with our fingers but NOTCHILI!!! Had to go all around up Aiea Hts Dr to get back on to Moanalua Rd!!! In the afternoon traffic! And to top it off no receipt! So I called the 1888 number to put in my complaint!!! Very disappointing!

Wendy’s is my first choice of drive thru fast food restaurants. However this location has got to be the worse! I would give them negative stars if I could. I expect that Wendy’s drive thru normally takes longer than other fast food places, it something that I expect and know when I choose to go. The wait in drive thru was 20 minutes, a bit longer than what I normally experience. However once I got to the window no one acknowledge me or hand me my order for 5 minutes. It was 5 minutes since the drive thru was taking so long I was looking at the clock. When someone finally came to the window they handed me the bag that had been sitting there the whole 5 minutes I was waiting. It wasn’t a case of waiting on new fries or some thing still had to be made. The bag was there the whole time.

Went last night after work with my family because we were all tired and no one wanted to cook. Well we went they the drive thru and they didn’t have enough backed potatoes so they asked us to pull to the side and wait. We start eating in the car as we wait. Fries were kinda cold and the other 2 baked potatoes looked like they have been sitting out for a whole. Wrong drinks in the wrong cup sizes. 15mins pass and my brother in law goes inside and checks on it. They had forgotten about my baked potato! So we had to wait another 10mins for it. We didn’t even get an apology for waiting long and they didn’t come outside to give it to us I had to go in and get it after I seen in on the counter thinking it was someone else’s until I went to ask. I had asked to speak to a manager and the girl simply told me that they were busy I waited 10 more minutes and still nothing! We were not happy and don’t think we will be going back ever again!

Love coming to this location. The workers at this location really hustle! Even with my complicated order they get it right almost every time and when they do mess up(like the time they forgot the salt for my baked potato and sauce for my nuggets) they are quick to fix it.

How about you cook your burgers all the way through next time? Strawberry lemonade is always great as usual, but I would rather wait a little longer than a couple minutes if that means I won’t get raw meat

We just stopped here at Wendy’s for something quick that was still open after our flight arrived(& we got our luggage & rental car & all that). The parking lot may have been a tight squeeze, though. There aren’t very great vegetarian-friendly selections available at this or at any Wendy’s restaurant, so it isn’t usually my first choice. But I was with a group of 7 adults &2 kids(ages 4&1 years), & we needed something fast & convenient. I just had some regular Old-Fashioned Burger, but without the meat patty. Also some fries & a small Frosty. The food was good, pretty standard for Wendy’s, but one adult member of our group had some food poisoning for the next 24 hours. At least the staff was friendly, helpful, & accommodating.

Took a visit here today due to my junk food craving. What a disaster! You folks need to get organized a little better. I was in front of the line and waited 8mins to give my order, with workers in the back looking at me crazy, I got charged for cheese and onions for my chili and didn’t get it, no bbq sauce for my sons chicken nuggets and then they ran out of lids for the drink cups! With 2 – 3 Managers/Asst Managers on duty, I expect better service then this! Come on Wendy’s, get it together!!!

Wendy’s is my favorite fast food option in the state and one of my guilty pleasures. Their burgers are fresher, tastier and of higher quality compared to their competition. The square patties are the undisputed winner. Plus, Wendy’s has the Frosty — vanilla or chocolate; you know what I’m talking about. Out of the 6 Wendy’s locations on Oahu(Puuloa Road, Aiea, Pearl City, Royal Kunia, Kapolei and Wahiawa), the Aiea location is my favorite. I do dine in here but this is especially so when picking up a late night snack. Even though I live in town and the Puuloa Road location is closer, I stay on the freeway, make a quick exit where the Aiea Wendy’s is right there, drive through, then turn around and head home to feed my face in front of Netflix. IMHO the service and flow of the Aiea Wendy’s is just better. Driveway to driveway it even works out to be faster… yes, I have timed it. I do have to ding the Aiea Wendy’s 1 star because I have noticed some intermittent lapses in service quality lately: longer waits, less friendly and efficient staff, no napkins/ketchup/etc. provided in the drive through. Basically there is noticeably less involvement/interaction by the manager(you can tell by the shirt). I still have the good experiences I am accustomed to, and this is regardless of how busy it is, just less consistently. The good news is that it can be fixed and I hope the Aiea Wendy’s does so soon.

Ordered the specialty Gouda burger(meal) and the meat wasn’t cooked fully on mine and my sister’s still had the wrapper on it(inside the burger). I normally ask for fries to be cooked well done(so that they’re fresh) and our orders were extremely salty and cold. Ended up throwing it away for the sake of not getting anyone sick. It’s disappointing, I called and spoke to the manager but I feel like this is common knowledge when you’re in the food industry.

Since my last review, service has been more reliable. They actually remember to make my salad without blue cheese, so that’s a plus. I’ve been getting their apple pecan chicken salad pretty often because I think Wendy’s salads taste a lot better than salads from other fast food places. I love that they have fruity salads, which is why I’m sad that I keep finding a reason to eat elsewhere. My last Apple pecan salad had a chopped bug head in it that I only found when I was nearly done eating. Gross. The bug wasn’t anything familiar to me and it was in a very solid state. I almost thought it was a piece of wood before realizing there were 2 eyes staring at me. Because of this I believe it may have actually been imported from the mainland together with the food. I don’t care if health regulations allow a small percentage of bugs in food to be acceptable, it’s still disgusting.

Got the 4 for $ 5 deal(not 4 for $ 4 like the commercials say because we live in dang Hawaii) and I was really excited to get a good variety of food for so cheap! Food was good. Not much to say about fast food lol. I also ordered a chocolate frosty. The only downside to my meal(besides how unhealthy it all was but who goes to a fast food place for healthy food?) was the fact that a small Frosty is SO small! Good, but small.

Normally customer service is decent to okay… and I’ve been frequenting this Wendy’s drive thru the past couple months because the pulled pork fries are back. Today was no different except that I experienced the WORST customer service. The girl kept cutting me off as I was trying to order. The first thing I ordered(the pulled pork fries) I was able to say the entire thing, second thing I tried order(strawberry lemonade no ice)…she cut me off as I was saying lemonade and asked if that was it. I said«no, I have the keychain for(the junior frosty)» and got cut off again. I got to the window, got my fries & frosty. The lemonade had ice in it(of course) because she didn’t let me finish saying what I wanted to say. I wasn’t going to say anything but I did… as she’s making my lemonade with no ice, another employee walks by the window and she must’ve said something because the grouchy girl says in a sassy voice«she wanted one with NO ice.» Then as I’m still sitting there in the window waiting for my lemonade, she tells the employee«I’m sick of all these people today.» I get home… I have no receipt, no straw, & no spoon. If I had the receipt I could tell you the name of the grouchy girl. If I didn’t go home to eat, I’d be drinking my lemonade from the cup instead of through a straw… and I’m not sure how I’d eat the frosty… maybe with the fork? Both of which would’ve been quite messy. I had to look up the phone number on Google and spoke to the manager Melita(not sure on the spelling) and she apologized profusely. I didn’t even have to provide a description of the grouchy girl(she must’ve known who I was talking about). Needless to say I won’t be going back there for a VERY long time… you can’t even bribe me with the pulled pork fries and strawberry lemonade!

My son and I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat, so I wanted to try the new pulled pork sandwich — PHENOMENOL! Tasty, tender, great sauce, and crunchy coleslaw compliments the pork well. I also had a vanilla frosty which is delicious also. Great when u want to get quality quick bite to eat, and they open until wee hours.

Not a pleasant visit to this Wendy’s. First we got no greeting just blank stares. Second we got helped by someone that doesn’t seem to know what he is doing. And when he was getting are food he ate one of the fries from our order. I thought we were all set to go but I double check my order and he got my order incorrect even when his coworker repeated my order to him. They need to train there employees better cause I’m not coming back to this Wendy’s again.

I usually go to Wendy’s by the airport since it’s closer to town. However, we were at Ford Island last night, so we hit up the Wendy’s in Aiea. It was around 9pm and the place was packed and so was the drive-thru. The parking lot is small and had no spaces left, so we parked on the side street. We walk into this place and there are two females taking orders at the register. The line goes down pretty quickly. Within 10 minutes, we are putting in our orders. I noticed that they placed a computer screen facing the customer so that you can see what you’re ordering. Nice! We ordered a chocolate and vanilla frosty mix, small chili, cheeseburger jr., two chicken sandwiches, chicken burrito and a medium fries. It took 15 minutes for us to get our completed order. Yikes! The food was decent. It was kind of on the smaller side. Usually, the fries from Wendy’s are soggy, yuck. Today, it was somewhat crispy, so I’m not going to complain. Their chili is full of beans. I got full from eating that alone. The best thing from Wendy’s is, of course, the frosty.

It’s Wendy’s and amazing quality. So expect to pay more than the dollar menu at McD’s. I love the BBQ chicken salad, baconater fries with cheese sauce on the side and the blueberry pineapple fruit chiller tea is amazing! Asiago chicken sandwich is good too! Baked potato at a fast food place? Yeps.

For a late night bite, Wendy’s is a place I enjoy purchasing food. Although if you go at the latest time they either run out of the food or they can’t cook the food due to they turning off their fryers. Other than that Wendy’s is a good place to purchase food at a very late hour.

This Wendy’s is the bomb lol. They made a mistake and fixed it right away. And they were super nice. They even upsized our drinks lol. As a pregnant person that loves strawberry lemonade, I am pleased lol

Unilocal 365 Challenge 2015 #36/365 Nothing to really complain about at this Wendy’s, except for maybe the restroom not having paper towels to dry your hands on. I prefer this Wendy’s location over the one near the airport just because of the types of people you might see here. For example, at the airport Wendy’s, there’s always one or two homeless people sitting inside the dining area. In my visits to the Aiea Wendy’s, that has not happened(so far at least). As far as food quality, they’re on the same level, one isn’t necessarily better than the other, but I just would rather come to this location. I like the layout of seating for this location as well. You can either have seats directly in front of the cashier & kitchen, or sit in more private booths around the corner, away from people coming in and out. The cashiers I’ve had at this location are a little friendlier too, so that’s always a plus. Wendy’s food is a little more expensive than McDonald’s or J-Box, but that’s because the quality of their food is a little higher than those. On my last visit, I actually got a chicken sandwich, the Asiago one, and it was pretty good. Once in a while I like to get chicken sandwiches at a burger place for a change, just to see how it is; and I was not disappointed. Also, don’t forget to check out their value menu too, before ordering. The prices have gone up on some items such as their 4 piece chicken nuggets, which used to be 99 cents, but now they’re 1.29. If you’re having some weird dilemma about which Wendy’s to go to, then you should come to the Aiea Wendy’s.

When did Wendy’s get so complicated? I remember, back in the day, ordering a Single burger and specifying exactly what I wanted on it. The woman at the counter looked at me like I had three heads when I did that. I’d like a single with ketchup, mustard, and pickle. «The number one? The single with cheese?» No, just a burger, no cheese. «But a single cheese?» Fine, a single cheese, no cheese.(Suppresses eye roll) «It comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, you want mustard on that too?» Sure. I’m also sure that transaction needn’t have been so difficult. Dirty tables in the dining room. My burger came *drenched* in mustard. Their one star is for fountain cherry Coke and the option of a 30-cent-upcharge pretzel bun. Because pretzel buns rule.
