Not too happy with the customer service I recieved today. Let me say, I am a 19 year old female, and I just got a new car at the end of July. Today was my first oil change since I got the car. So I go into NTB and the mechanic goes out to scan my VIN. He came back in and very rudely said«You realize your tires are entirely too big to have on that car right?» As I just bought the car used, I did not know this, the car was, and still is, driving just fine, so I wasn’t worried. He then goes on to say, «Well I’m not going to rotate your tires because the front and rear tires are completely different sizes. I don’t know why you have such big tires. I can tell you for a fact that your speedometer, anti-locking brake system and traction control doesn’t work.» At this point, I was extremely upset because I was being treated like I was stupid, and the mechanic went on to treat me like I didn’t know anything again because I didn’t know if my car needed synthetic oil or not(like I said, this is my FIRST oil change since I bought the car). The oil change and courtesy check went fine, no problems there, but when I called my parents and talked to someone else about my tires, I found out that they have the same radius, which will not stop anything from working correctly. The width of the back tires is slightly wider, which is normal for most sports cars. I’m extremely upset with the customer service here; the mechanic made me not want to drive my car anymore!!! Pay the extra $ 20 and go to Firestone on Pine Log Road, they have much better customer service and won’t insult you or lie to you to try and get you to buy new parts for your car!
