Bill Hwang’s Restaurant

The chicken in the lo mein was so dry and tough I took it home and fed it to my dogs. The chow mein (stir fried noodles) was actually served with out noodles. The fried rice is just brown rice. Worst Chinese food I’ve ever been served.

I’ve been eating here since they opened and only since Yen and Bill have bowed out of the day to day management have I been so disappointed in the food. rarely do I end up with what I actually ordered when I do takeout. huge bummer since it’s always been my go to spot for some general’s…

I will give them 5 stars for their food ! Bill the owner is greAt his wife is one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. I’ve been eating here for 30 years almost it was nice for a while when their children where on the front lines now they’ve grown up and moved on. She needs to learn a little on hospitality.

This is the best Chinese food. They have the best egg rolls I have ever eaten. Service is always great. Mrs. Wang is always at the restaurant making sure her customers are happy. Delicious!

I had heard good things about this restaurant from friends and I read a positive review that was recently posted. My wife and I arrived about 5:30 pm and there were not many people in the dining room. We both opted for the buffet and started with the salad bar. There was only 8 pieces of lettuce left but the food looked fresh.
There were two areas for hot food. We started at the first bar and unfortunately none of the bins were marked with a description. Many of the choices had little left and it appeared it had been this way for quite some time as the sauces looked stale. The staff did bring out more food but many bins were left empty. The second farea had more hot food choices but about half had little or no food in them. Again much of the food appeared to have been out for some time and needed to be refreshed.
The desert bar consisted of mostly store bought sugar cookies, cakes and canned pears, etc. All in all it was not a good experience and I do not plan on returning.
