Best brisket I have ever had to this day. Big portions and great quality. If you want smoked bbq this is the place.

We have eaten here twice now and the BBQ is great. The address that Unilocal has is wrong. It is located on Hempstead road at the parking lot exit from Costco/Best Buy. Their brisket is excellent and so is their Turkey breast. They put about ½ pound of meat in their sandwiches.

Review for the Brewster’s stand on Hempfield Road across from the Costco: The smell of the smoke and meat invites you in before even turning off of the road into the parking lot. Monster portions of heavily heavenly smoked brisket and 3-bean-baked beans w/thick cut bacon & ground meat hooked me. They have 5 sauces: Carolina mustard, hickory, regular, HOT and apple bbq. All 5 are awesome. Fair warning: the hot is indeed hot and leaves a lingering burn… not for those who think jalapeños are hot. They also have smoked bones to buy for your pups… they donate the money to the Wolf Sanctuary. Badass. They are very quick, and you can even call ahead to place orders. You can buy plate dinners or buy by the lb.

Just what this area needed. Simple delicious barbecue. I had the pulled pork sandwich & side of slaw both were excellent. Hot bbq sauce was as advertised«HOT !!!» But oh so good. Next time I’ll cut it with the traditional. Standard slaw, not dried out like many other places. If I lived closer this would be a regular stop. Not pretentious and low overhead mixed with quality product. This man deserves your business.

A bit pricey but the flavor of the pulled pork is amazing and probably the best I’ve tasted. Love the sauces as well.

I stopped at their mobile trailer by Costco. Tried the belt buster with pulled pork, beef brisket. An the two sides were coleslaw and Brewster beans. Loved the pulled pork you can really taste the smoke. I dipped it with some apple bbq sauce and that only made it better. The coleslaw was to plain for my taste. The beans I would buy a pound next time!

The smell is delicious and the idea of getting BBQ from a trailer with wire spools for outdoor seating is cool. We had chopped beef sandwiches and hand cut fries. The meat was tasty but the smoke wasn’t what I’m used to in Texas. Not enough of it and it was Hickory I think whereas everywhere we usually go is mesquite. If you are in the area, give it a try.

Excellent brisket and baked beans. Really good smoked turkey. I wasn’t blown away by the pulled pork, but I think that batch wasn’t the best because I had it once before. Standard coleslaw and good potato salad. Cool little dive of a trailer in a gravel parking lot.

when I went through Tennessee and drove into Texas, I never thought I would taste Bar-B-Que like that again. I paid $ 30 for a brisket that was smoked for 10 hours and it lasted a week. it was amazing and I ate it every meal until it was gone!!! they have sauces and sides that are delish! you can not miss out on this or you will never know what Great Bar-B-que is! the guys who work there are sooo nice too! they carry great root beer, and cherry soda, and cream soda too. located on South 7th street in Akron Pa.

Update: trailer’s no longer parked in a fixed location in Lititz. They now have 2 or 3 trailers and change locations every few weeks. I can often find them along 322 not far from 222 in Ephrata and have spotted them in a couple other locations from time to time, lately even in Manheim. Whenever that happens, we put other plans on hold and swerve over to buy some brisket by the pound to take home. Which can be a torturous ride, what with that incredible aroma wafting out of the foil! We’re Texans and, therefore, choosy and opinionated about BBQ. While not quite Texas-style, this IS the best and closest we’ve found in PA to date. Excellent smoke ring and meat to fat ratio, tho sadly, no bark. Pork is pretty good but I’d pass on the ribs & chick. So-so. Same for the sides, most of which are scooped out of commercial buckets. Barry’s brave enough to serve his ‘que un-sauced and offers a choice to apply yourself. I recommend 2 parts original to 1 part hot, on the side. He’s usually at the Lititz Springs 4th of July celebration(a day of wonderful old-fashioned Americana!) and while they say they post their current trailer locations on the new website, they haven’t been up the couple times I’ve checked so far. If not, just give ‘em a call and go on a mini road trip. Bear in mind, it’s strictly a walk-up & takeout set up; no seating and only canned sodas or bottled water but meats are carved to order and served hot.

We just stopped at Brewsters near Advance Auto parts in Ephrata. Amazing! Brisket and pulled pork sandwhiches were delicious. Choices of sauce, all yummy. The hot is HOT! Their take on beans and the slaw were worth every penny.

The best BBQ in Pa and possibly the east coast. The brisket is so tender and pulled pork is very yummy. I don’t even want to put any BBQ sauce on them because the smoky flavor is awesome! If you do use the BBQ sauce, be careful with the HOTBBQ sauce, it is VERY hot, and I like hot stuff but I sweat every time I use it lol.

We love Brewster’s BBQ and often pick it up by the pound for at home meals on busy days. We bring the sauce home separately so each person can have as much or as little as they please. The meats are done to perfection! Tender, smoky, and delicious!

It’s a little trailer in the parking lot of a grocery store. Just a little trailer with a smoker right next to it. A few picnic tables on the side, and a man(I’m guessing Barry the Grill Master) reading a book on a lawn chair just far enough away from the heat. «Real food for hungry people,» reads the business card. Indeed. We had the pulled pork and the brisket(no ribs ready when we rolled up, hot and hungry). Some cole slaw and potato salad on the side, because this is Pennsylvania Dutch Country, my ancestral home, where such things are well understood and nearly always well executed. Barry the Grill Master served us up quickly and we sat at one of those picnic tables and tucked into it. Excellent food: the sides were solid. The protein was fantastic on its own: great smoke on the meat. Got the hot and the regular sauce — I preferred the hot, Wife and Baby trended toward the regular. The can of soda was not quite cold enough, but it was all right. This is a business that deserves to grow, deserves your support. Get on down to Brewster’s. Give Barry a call and ask him to make your next gathering worthwhile, food-wise. Eat that good food. Get some to go. Get yourself right with the lord in the doing — because Barry’s doing God’s work here. You’ll be well-pleased. And your friends will be jealous.
