Pretty amazing park to find in an urban/suburban setting like Akron. The view of the Cuyahoga River oxbend from the end of the Overlook Trail, a short trail which starts from the Sackett Avenue parking lot, is beautiful, highly recommended! This park has an extensive trail network and is pretty hilly(cabeat: by Ohio standards!) good for hiking and trail running. This section of the Cuyahoga has a «babbling brook» feel. The park had plenty of picnic tables with charcoal barbeque grills, including some right by the river accessible from the Cuyahoga Street entrance in Akron. The park is divided in two non-contiguous sections, Cascade Valley Metro Park North and South, see the photo I took of the locations on the map.
