The interior definitely leaves something to be desired, but the chicken was awesome. I got a mixed(dark and white meat) fried chicken meal with JoJo’s and cole slaw. The cole slaw was good but not extraordinary. The JoJo’s were huge and well seasoned, but the best part was the chicken. I was surprised when I ordered and was told I would wait 15 minutes(I was the only person there). The wait was because every order of chicken is made to order… unlike KFC, Popeye’s, Church’s, etc. where the chicken sits under a heat lamp and dries out. The moist chicken with well seasoned, crispy skin was definitely worth the wait!

The barbecue is really good they didn’t have pizza when I was there the ribs were fresh tender and tasty and the sauce was banging the fried chicken and JoJo’s were really good too I had baked beans and collard greens and macaroni and cheese and they were all really good I come back here all the time at least once a week this is your best bet for real barbecue and a helluva lot cheaper than old Carolina and tastier then old Carolina bottom line the food here is delicious.

I haven’t eaten here for 8 or 9 years. The food was ok then but has gotten about as bad as BBQ can get. The lobby is dirty, the Ribs are just ok… the ½ chicken was soggy, old and gross. I ordered and paid for beans, but I guess they forgot. I won’t come back.

Wow was I afraid of this place when I walked in. This place is so run down that I seriously considered walking right out. I was the only customer. There was one worker and there was food in the heater. I got a half a slab of ribs and some sides. The ribs were old, tasted like they were made last week. Kinda scary that a place like this is still in business. Trust me, this place is terrible.
