Pixleys Sure Fine, is the only supermarket located in the Village of Akron. Although there are a few convenience stores located 1 – 2 miles away from this plaza. Prices are a little high for certain items in my opinion, they are kind of a «monopoly» though. Snow Removal and Ice Management could be improved though. For the last few years, the parking lot can get quite slippery. The gas bar is the same way. Watch your footing in the winter. Other than that, employees are friendly enough. Quick in, Quick out.

After visiting Pixley’s several times I have concluded that you can get most grocery items that are available in the major chains.
The variety of items of very good and the prices reasonable.
The place is well organized and the folks working there are nice as well.
Can’t see how Akron could do without this institution.
